I was so Lucky to see her for the first time in Atlanta, Ga. the Famous Concert where she's wearing a Vest, Jeans, Boots. I was only 16 at the time and it was a school night. I will never Forget it!! saw her in Concert again in 1982 in Atlanta, Ga. She won a Grammy for the single "That'll be the Day"
absolutely! Her band was the best with this lineup imho. After Gold left (a few months after this show I think) they were still a Real Good band but I miss the "duo-solos" (whatever to call it) when Waddy and Andrew Gold were going at it. That was always a highlight of her shows to me.
Rocking. Linda rescued these tunes from the oldie jukebox - gave them new life with her unadorned natural vocal strength and beauty. Nothing else like Ronstadt.
Fortunately, there is the vast store of her work in the form of video and recordings. Linda is currently doing important humanitarian at thus stage of life with the same dedication she put into her music.

That's ridiculous; Linda Rosntadt was a fine singer, no question about it, but it's ridiculous to say no woman can match what she did. Maybe she was a product of her times and we were all fortunate to have it, but she will stand out when newer singers are forgotten.
