As a neutral observer that is concerned with what’s going on with both sides it’s extremely concerning to me the language that Israelis and Palestinians use to describe one other. It’s as if you don’t see one another as human beings. The things being said about Palestinians by Israeli politicians and celebrities is alarming. Instead of trying to win a PR war why not open your mind and heart and see innocent men, women, and children on both sides as human. Hamas needs to be dealt with however there is no need to dehumanize the Palestinians and conflate them with Hamas. I fear Israel with its actions is creating a new extreme version of Hamas for generations to come.
My prayer is that when enough people have been killed bold new leaders from both sides will bring a lasting and just peace with dignity to both Israelis and Palestinians.

No need to correctly associate Palestinians with Hamas..
      Are you 🥜
Palestinians have been killing civilians in Israel since 1950 continuously.
That is way before Hamas existed.
Have you ever heard about PLO and Fatah. Terrorists organizations by Palestinians.
Have you ever heard about Palestinian and PLO in Jordan 1970, where they did the same claim to Jordan as they are now making towards Israel 🇮🇱
King Hussein of Jordan sent his army to sort it out. 25,000 Palestinian casualties. In Egypt the Palestinians tried to assassinate the President, and was terrorizing the country in general.
The latter was the reason Egypt closed their border to Gaza at the same time as the Israelis.
But in the news, Israel is blamed for isolating Gaza and not let anything in. Conveniently forgetting the sea side of Gaza and the fact that the Palestinians caused it by themselves.
      Huh, what?
Yea they voted for Hamas in a free public election that had international observers…!
Sure that doesn’t connect Palestinians to Hamas!?
The demonstrations around the world with women in headscarfs screaming death to Israel 🇮🇱 is all Hamas I guess then.
The woman who stabbed a female law enforcement officer to death in Jerusalem- Palestinian.
The thing is that I visited Jerusalem and Tel Aviv 1989.
A Palestinian stabbed a Jew to death in Jerusalem during my visit. Palestinian suicide bombers blew up buses with civilian Israelis in it.
We were expressly warned that Palestinians were raiding the coast lines of Israel, and had performed assaults on the beaches of Tel Aviv including hotels with foreign tourists. To scare international visitors and this hurt Israel’s economy.
You are either an Arab or an easily fooled person.
      Get your facts straight

      Mister jdsthird,
I agree with you whole heartedly. We are indeed in the midst of an extremely intense war! The victim count is sky high. It needs to stop. Is it possible that you are a victim of this brutal war? The vicious PR war is targeting innocent civilians like me and you. It really needs to stop!
I, for one, don't appreciate being targeted by heavy bombardment of tactical missiles designed to violate my human rights and to force me take sides in this unfair war. How about you? What's your take on this alarming phenomena?

It’s because their side is materially right. PR can go a long way (75 years) but as another communications expert once said, “You can fool some of the people all the time, you can fool all the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.” In the US the talking points and hasbara dialogue trees have been working less and less and when the main strategy shifted to coercion, blacklisting, blackmail, and bad faith accusations of antisemitism it spelled the eventual end of US public support. It started to piss people off and give them righteous indignation - which means motivated.

Also check out how much the Qatari govt that shelters Hamas and their billionaire leaders have donated to your commie "decolonislism" studies departments. If they're right then Western civilization is wrong. And the nation-state model may as well be replaced by a theocratic empire that kills apostates, taxes Christians and Jews, endorses armed "struggle"/violence for the sake of religious honor, and excuses or even commits any atrocity imaginable in the name of all of the above.

The most important is actually words. Not images. Words like have a big symbolic value. Like colonialism, oppression, genocide, freedom, are used very successfully by those against Israel and Jews. They are emotional, and create feeling of injustice. And the geneva convention or international law are too logic and non emotional. How can you make them more emotional?

Killing hostages because they are thought to be Palestinians isn’t helping. And killing a mother and daughter in a church in Gaza isn’t helping either. The rising civilian death toll is breathtaking and extraordinary. This conflict will be resolved politically and not militarily. Stop 🛑 combining Hamas with civilians in Gaza. We think Israel has a right to defend itself. We also think Netanyahu and his cronies are leading the country into the abyss. Two wrongs will never make a right. The world can not stomach the slaughter of innocent civilians, women, and children on either side. It’s not acceptable to drop 2000 pound bombs in residential neighborhoods and say it’s Hamas’s fault. The state that dropped the bomb and made them are to blame.
This conflict will be resolved politically and not military. New leaders are needed on both sides to conclude a lasting and just peace where both Israelis and Palestinians can live in dignity and security. One can not dominate and/or subjugate the other. That’s the past. A way forward is needed.

There are volunteer groups who are addressing Israel PR.
Why not volunteer for such a group?

    • @jdsthird
      @jdsthird ปีที่แล้ว +4

Who are these volunteer groups? And why would Israel need to win PR battle? The IDF killing hostages because they think they are Palestinians who are surrendering doesn’t help. Killing a mother and daughter inside a church in Gaza doesn’t help either. These reported incidents along with the rising civilian death toll is what is alarming people around the world. This conflict needs a political solution and won’t be solved militarily. Only one side has a state. One side needs to change the dynamic in the region.

@@shainazion4073 You know what most Israelis say when innocent civilians are killed in Gaza or the West Bank? It’s war. They are collateral damage. It’s Hamas’s fault. If the soldiers can’t handle the war zone they need to be relieved of duty. This conflict won’t be resolved militarily. It requires a political solution to ensure a lasting peace with dignity for both Israelis and Palestinians. I have been pro Israel as long as I can remember. I also happen to have worked many years in marketing and promotion modeling. My observation is that Israel is not doing anything wrong. The world is against Israel because of antismetism. The stigma against Jews is as old as time itself. Jews need to keep doing what they’re doing. Those that are going to believe and stand with Israel will do so regardless of PR strategy. The truth will always speak for itself and will hold up against time. If there is one thing I can recommend is that Jews in media and entertainment have a lot of power on public opinion. Most of Hollywood is Jewish. Where are all the Jewish celebrities? Including Pink, Drake, Scarlet Johansson. They need to be speaking up for themselves and their country. It’s crazy to see the people being the most vocal pro Israel are Christians.

If they're young they've either been swept into the woke commie anti Israel vortex or are too afraid of backlash. Most of the problem is the same as what Europe is dealing with but as you can see that's difficult to confront without being labeled as fascist or right wing. Islamic supremacism has been normalized in the world covertly, and only now is Europe learning how overt its messengers are willing to be about their embrace of it.

  • @63rambler66

I honestly think that it will be necessary to resort to analogies to the things differentt entities are doing regarding the position Israel has been put in. Without exposing the role the Arab world has payed in keeping Gazans concentrated around Hamas fighters, Israel will never overcome the PR aftermath of the bombing campaign. Specifically the refusal to offer Gazans any haven from the war, which would easily be done while ensuring they can return to Gaza later. Surrounding countries could be sending medical ships, cruise ships, freight ships to enable civilians to get relief away from thriving Hamas.
Hamas and the Arab world have played a huge role in the magnitude of the destruction and death toll, and only a part of the world understands that.
