I take a look and review the new DeWalt first fix nail gun. check out the pros and cons is it worth it. If you would like to pick one of these up click this link to go to Amazon amzn.to/40wU9oO
When u shot the first nail on the first speed the piece of wood was unsupported at top as you just held it so the gun fired and pushed the wood back leaving the nail proud. When u changed to second setting you laid the wood flat on your bench so it was fully supported and had nowhere to up when u shot the nail. I’d like to see you do both strings with the timber the same way so it’s apples to apples as such
I had 2 of these guns last year. First one was really good until i shot a nail into wallplate and the nail hit the block and broke. Secound one i had for about 2 weeks and again just broke and i was only doing noggings. Wish they didnt break so easily but unfortunately my experience with them has been poor.
Damn that has been unlucky. I know a lot of guys in the trade not really had much in the way of problems with the new ones. The older ones were not good but at the end of the day you can only go with what you know. A bad experience like that would change your mind pretty quick anyway thanks for watching
Hi First, fix is the installation of structural elements. In other words, building roofs floors, stud walls, etc. So that nail gun shoots the larger nails like 100mm hope thst helps. Thanks for watching

Hi fair point I did not even think about it at the time the only reason for laying it down was to demonstrate the bump fire!

Do you think it would do 90mm stainless ringshanks?
Yes into softwood but hardwood I'm not sure
I replaced springs the switches don't to fix it and it don't drive nails
Well, obviously I don't know How long you have had your nail gun? But if it was me. I would send it back to Dewalt for a service.
