I rented the new Triton 2019 model.. i drove to Kundasang to view a piece of land for purchase when I got lost along a maze of rocky dirt road that even locals avoided. I used 4L gear for about 1KM for 2 hours to escape the maze. The Triton did very very well... Along the way we managed to talk to Indonesian vegetable farmers who told us the road was no longer in use..🤣🤣🤣

Off road is different with the normal road. You should do more eujin. The feel is different..rough,difficult,harsh,challenging but in d ends..will come the satisfaction

Nice explanation. Just one point u need to improved. Manual transmission 6 speed, u could found it in Hilux and Ranger as well. No need to point out unrelated car beside pick-up truck.

MMM bring in this model Adventure X,but cut off safety features,like lane keep assist,auto cruising breaking,all round view camera,blind spot warning.X70 has its all.
I prefer the series 5 I like the look rather than the 6 .
My 2019 Triton engine surges up and down during idle. The Machanic says its normal but its weird, it does it every 5 second in park. Weird. Anyone has the same issue. It happens when the aircon is on.
Its normal man , it happens cuz the comprresor needs more power to push the cold air .. So it turns off and turn on every 10sec .. If it does this it means your air conditioner works in great shape
Why not install wheel chain at the tire
Should fit with MT tire.... Anyway, welcome to Sabah =D

Are the clutch pedal for manual variant feel light? Drove a 2008 Vigo, the clutch pedal feel a bit hard to operate..
Why the sudden surge of speed in a wet rough dirt road, can you explain to us and expound on it further? I agree with the head unit seems a bit neglected but you can't have it all at all times though, somewhere somehow something has got to give away.

@@nhosein4209 I have been in mud infact i have been crossing rivers and not just crossing im traversing it with heavy loads eversince, so about you? Do you know how to cross rivers and traversing it as far as 1klm. at waters over four tires?

V6 means more road tax and maintenance cost, look at Perdana V6

Own a triton athlete. Been driving it for 11months, most of the cosmetic are fragile and easily scratch. My USB broken, fog light can't turn off., reverse camera hang all the time. Engine performance acceptable but the engine sound is getting louder each day. The worst thing comes with it is the tyre, it is a 4x4 why the heck give me an on road tire, at least give me AT tyre.
Sounds like you need a tractor 🤷♂️
Sadly tractor does not comes with 7 airbags

Come on laa. Don't be so proud of driving new triton only on the offroad condition that was so easy to be drive. I have been driving using the 1st model of mitsubishi triton manual (modification added) and went lot of challenging road condition and to promote car please do not compare other pick-up. What for power only for cosmetic not the engine and transmision.

triton is never a good off roader. It is positioned in the middle of all pickups
Its not bad just not as good as hilux and ranger. But better than navara
No pal, the triton is a better off road vehicle than both the Hilux and ranger. More reliable too and can handle hard off road and heavy loads. Don't want an overpriced vehicle with a major engine problem that Toyota refuses to recall to fix the issue. Nor do I want an overpriced, unreliable vehicle with the company's poor customer service that only sells because of name.

Tritons are way better than hilux! I have two hilux and a Triton! I have had no problem with the Triton and i have had it for 12years been around Australia 3times so i dont believe a word you say. As for the hilux i could have bought a new car with all the problems
@@nathanlam9884 my triton is 12 years old and gives zero problems. I wouldn't buy a Hilux especially with that dpf problem nor a totally unreliable, overrated ranger.
All 4wd is just the same.different people is different choice.nothing of the 4wd is 100% perfect men.
