My opinion
Hilux has proven their reliability, good for bring things with hard suspension. But this new triton give a lot more features for certain people, more powerful engine, more comfort level for passanger with better rear seat angle, comfort suspension, rear blower fan. Hope this new triton will be success in reliability too👍👍

my driving experienced with 2018mitsubishi Strada/Triton on a road with a short distance of 2.5km without curvature reach the speed of 180kph, but maybe i can reach 195kph on a straight highway.

i have my old triton in philippines named strada was sold for half the price when i bought it 12 years ago with 75 k odo..pick ups has higher value on second hand vehicle even 15 years og age
Bro if you ask me the added roar of the diesel isca bonus. I drive the V6 petrol Montero sport which is essentially a Triton but too quiet and would much rather have a diesel truck.

Do u think Triton could be a comfortable family car, especially for long distance driving, compared to similar priced cars like the Proton X70?
Im working at the mining company, ive tried ranger, hilux, colorado, and triton. This is my personal opinion, For easy and cheap maintenance, hilux is the best option. Ranger and colorado is a bit sensitive for fuel quality and other electronic sensors. Triton it self is famous for its engine power but the car it self almost has no features. But this time maybe its alot better than the previous model.
@Drive YT Brand in South East Asia hilux is almost the best in the 4x4 market. The brand image of Toyota, resale value, easy and cheap maintenance, etc.

They have those wire restraints on the tailgate, is for those Thia blokes, they like to load these things up, all available space is used, you know stuff, body parts, the usual .I can tell you that in Aus, that nice frontal area, doesn't do that well when the wildlife, kangaroos, hit them, they complain about it of course, I'll , " mits your bishi mate" mmm, yeah, time to go.

what if mitsubishi bring in the pajero sport? it look better than the fortuner....
FYI I actually rented a 7 seater pajero sport in Australia last year as we needed as seven seater to lug around the family and the extended members too... it was a great vehicle.. powerful, fuel efficient, easy to drive and so sexy with its led rear lights.. really don’t know why Mitsubishi Malaysia don’t bring it in, instead give us the crappy outlander which is more like a station wagon...:)

I had a ranger 4wd 2016 px2,it had issues,randomly wouldn't start,had the cam sensor replaced which seemed to work but failing to start came back,I was over it,traded it for 2020 triton 2wd, love it,no issues,enough power for me,I regret buying the ranger,I should have bought this triton first.

I drove this car. At low speed the engine seems to struggle to move the car. Car is stift so if you have mabuk kereta better don't sit at the rear. Step on the pedal it takes a few sec for the turbo to kick in. That's all driving on city roads.

The Triton's headlamps not same location like the Xpander. The headlamps are the top ones. Lower ones are fog lamps.

I guess it depends on individuals preferences on what kind of information & how they’re being presented. For you this review may be subpar but for many others, it’s informative, fathomable & entertaining.
Kindly share on what can be improved, I go off-road into local durian orchards, nothing serious like river crossings so im sure there's stuff that I dont even know but wish to know

@Drive YT Brand not all being the topic of this normal issue..each brands got pro and cons...wisely said there's lot of owner for 2.2 6 speed don't have problems...not all of them...it is being said there's lot of owners dont have probs or issues..the point is just service on time...I'm one of this 2.2 6 speed ranger proud owner..still rockin untill this day...zero engine probs...facts...
