I’ve seldom seen HMG run on bot missions, but it shreds there too. It wipes the floor with devastadors of all types, and can even kill Hulks and striders with good positioning. Best use tho is long range gunship defense. You can knock tons of those guys out of the sky with the HMG emplacement, and frequently the emplacement will eat bullets for you. It’s not a perfect strategy since it does eventually run out of health, but it has served me quite well thus far.

I love HMG, but on a normal map, the bugs will target you primarily. There is no chance to empty the magazin.

@@kristiante638 you need really good awareness of where your team is and a bug breach to be able to empty the HMG, hard to pull off consistently

on lvl 7+ i use it on every bug breach i come across, as soon as i hear one crying for reinforcements i look to see where its gonna pop up then place one down, the only thing i gotta worry about are chargers or titans. if you play solo its a death sentence, but with a group yeah i end up running it dry constantly getting killstreaks x50+

You need somebody else to pull in the HMG Turret too, and just keep you going in your off-cycle. That way, you could fire the HMG Turret all of the time.

Closing the gates is actually ineffective imo. Especially on helldive. The group is normally divided equally into two directions and you can easily shoot in both directions with open gates, as in the video, without running like a chicken. And you can also throw 500kg or oritals comfortably at the gates without destroying them. The opponent density is best there. I usually only close the gates when almost the whole group died and i'm still alive to buy some time. Players who close everything first are a bit annoying to be honest xD. The first thing todo is to call weapons and supplies to get the most power out of your strategems. And of course blow off the railing xD
