I’ve been running a barebones build lately using the liberator and it’s honestly crazy how good it is on the bot front. As long as you can aim for those headshots, they die instantly.

I’m super curious when they’ll implement the weapon upgrades and what they’ll give each weapon, like would they raise the rate of fire for the liberator and give it medium armor pen? It’s really nice to think about the possibilities!

They should jusy give us a mage upgrade we need to work for even if it's for every gun to individually earn . It's just not fun

I soloed hey mega bug hole once, I had the shield backpack and was stimming like crazy running for my life with impact grenades and grenade pistol and I always have extra grenade armor, it also helps when your team is on the other side of the map the bugs don't spawn as much

If only the liberator could have a upgrade to attach a grenade launcher, I think it would help the gun alot. Also more damage would help too

Liberator guard dog might have worked better for this because it has stagger, but idk if that counts as shots fired. Also Thermites

The Autocannon can also close bug holes and is good with crowd control because of the explosive damage, so its versatility is pretty reliable

How come you haven't used the Grenade Launcher yet against Bugs? It's easily S-tier, arguably the best support weapon against Bugs right now. Biggest AOE explosive dmg, fast firing, 10 round belt, 4 belts. 1 grenade will kill most Bugs, 2 grenades will kill anything that's not a Charger, Bile Titan, or Impaler.

there wasn't a second impaler, for some reason the tentacles are still active for 2-3 seconds after he dies. Happened to me in multiple occasions

Only real divers shoot without shooting, Enemies fall before your mere presence! Also lasers are pretty sweet 🙂

It sucks. The chargeup mechanic SUCKS. If they made it shoot automatically for you after charging up enough it would've been much better instead of constantly having to recharge because i failed to time the variable charging time

All jokes aside, i really wanna love the crossbow.. but i just cant get it to work. You feel so useless once stuff gets close.. which let's be honest here, it will. If not every last tierlist put it in S tier i would sweat it's mediocre or close to unusable, honestly. Dont get me wrong, it's fantastic at long ranges. It's also great that you have a primary that can take care of shrieker nests, spore towers, bug holes and whatnot half decently. That's all great, and one of the reasons i wanna love this weapon. But as soon as a single bug gets to you, you need to either run away (and it feels like nowadays everything is able to outrun you) or swap to your secondary to kill it. Either way, your situation now becomes a negative feedback loop that just gets worse. I tried many things, from shields to tank the explosion nearby, to using a guard dog. Honestly, a guard god feels pretty mandatory with this one. But given that it only has 5 shots and the reload takes ages, i still feel like stuff gets way too close way too fast. So towards the people who regularly use it and make it work: how?

I think gas should lower enemy armor by 2. I'm a huge fan of arc thrower great vid.

3:40 for charger, it's better to aim below it, because it's belly is weak against crossbow

The incendiary break is too ammo hungry. It just forces you to having to use a supply backpack. It would be nice if they restore the ammo back to what it was before.

The extra padding armor passive of the medium armor doesn't mean that you are wearing heavy armor lol

Since you don't use your primary that much incendiary breaker would be better because you don't need a lot of ammo in your primary secondary grenade pistol then three stratagems to take care of bile Titans chargers and bug holes

10:24 in the first game impaler weak points were easy kills so i don't think that will be patched

I’ve been using the arc thrower a lot against bugs, I keep thermites for chargers though. Keep em in place with the arc then watch them slowly die to the thermite. Cookout or liberator concussive to knock bugs back that get too close and put em back in arc thrower distance, rinse and repeat. RC for BTs. 500kg as a panic strat in case there’s multiple heavies. Rover backpack just for help with any squishies that get too close. Works wonders on 10. Edit: also grenade pistol for nests. Everything covered in this build.

mortar in nug planet is 140% bad choice, it can only kill other friends

I could finally retire the grenade pistol by using the crossbow xD now I'm using the bushwhacker

I know the arc thrower is very potent now. And the crossbow I take out on bug missions especially if there's bloaty. bugs. It is such a good weapon to use now on both fronts

Still pissed at the ammo nerf...

the earliest I've been to a video I just unlocked the crossbow before I got hit by the hurricane, and even though I've been fighting bots mainly, I love this piece of ancient tech

How do you use resupply when it’s on your back?

20:20 I was just wondering how you don't set yourself on fire half as often as me, from what I can figure hitting the ground from a dive while still shooting seems to be the thing to avoid for me. I'm on fire almost every time I do that, pretty much confirms to my mind that it's a system dependent bug

Anybody try rover with torcher yet ?

The crazy thing is that neither the Punisher Plasma nor the Purifier can kill hunters with just the AoE (as both deal 150 AoE vs Hunters 160 HP). Also, the Punisher Plasma tends to burst before contact causing it to miss its (100) projectile damage on impact. This is one reason why Crossbow and Eruptor are so much better against the bugs.

Crossbow is helluva lot better with dog and heavy machine gun.

Incendiary breaker is still S-tier when ot comes to killing bugs.

When I take this weapon I don’t take a support weapon I either snag one from a team mate or grab something from the ground. This weapon alone can melt shirkers and patrols so easily it’s insane. So I’ll usually take this with the grenade pistol, maybe some stuns, 3 red stratagems or 2 red and a green depending. This gun is so broken and good even with the nerfs that it IS the main thing I use when ever I bring it.

Emergency!! We MUST attack Shelt, not Mastia!! Focus your efforts on Shelt!! Any bug divers who don't mind bots, please help! We will lose mastia and lose our tactical advantage!! If we liberate shelt, mastia will stop being attacked!

the amount of times ive died becuase other divers poor aim with this weapon..def not good imo

Have you tried the cookout? It also staggers the bugs
