i PRAY that the 1.5 liter in this is way more reliable than the 1.4 liter that was in my cruze..... i only had 54,000 miles on my cruze and the engine blew.... i bought a 2019 equinox with a 1.5 liter in it so i pray i get many years out of it
GM's LFV engine is much more reliable . I just brought Buick regal 1.5 turbo
It's the LYX engine...i hope they are good too...i just bought a new 2020 LT.1.5 liter.

If chevy vehicles are supposed to be crap according to critic's why are there so many Chevy's on the roads ? Still ? New and old alike? Cars s.u.v. s pickup trucks etc ? The company would be bankrupt and out of business by now .? so the company must be doing something right with the amount of their vehicles you see on the roads around the globe 🌎
The rear seats DO recline. Had one (in Cayenne Orange) out for a test drive last week. I only had two complaints ... the armrest in the front is surprisingly hard, and the turbo lag is somewhat disappointing. I didn't stopwatch it, but I'd say it's firmly in the 1.5-2 second range. My first intersection, I put my foot down, waited, waited, and proceeded to do a burnout. (LT, AWD) I've spent time in the previous generation Equinox, and they were horrible. This one, I liked ... and will probably have one in my driveway in the next week or two.
I heard there's no underside protection. Everything is exposed to corrosion, dirt, rocks.
