Nice just bought a new 2020 I found back in October.....1.5 liter LT....the 1.5 is stronger than I thought....great mileage too.

What about the annoying auto stop/start? No way to defeat it right? Are you just used to it? Maybe leaving the A/C on makes it not stop the engine? I'm looking at a 2020 on Carvana right now.

@@ofcbob6391 There are videos here on TH-cam i believe on how to turn it off. But it has too be done every time you start the car. I know it has something too do with the shifter. Since there is no dedicated button as some other SUV's have. Chevy should have put a dedicated start/stop button in too turn it off. But i don't know why they didn't.

The Chevy Equinox 2.0.litre turbo gasoline engine's perfect for this vehicle. Should have also offered the 2.0 litre Turbo diesel engine as a alternative? Power with economy?

How is it the auto stop/start did NOT cut the engine when you stopped in this demo?

Sometimes it cuts it. Sometimes it doesn't. It only does it when certain engine conditions are met. Temperatures, different things. It doesn't always do it

@@DailyDrivers Thanks for answering so quick, am thinking of buying used 2020 right now. Have you heard about the way to bypass it...by dropping the shifter into the L and bumping the gears up to the highest and leaving it there for the drive? That appeals to me. I just really hate the sensation of the engine dying at a stop, and then shuddering back to life when ready to go.

@@ofcbob6391 I have heard of it. And it's the only way to defeat that annoyance. Chevy should have put a dedicated start/stop button in as other SUV's have. Don't know why they didn't. The shifter work around has to be done every time you start the vehicle. As it has no memory function.

If the get the much more common 1.5 turbo, you get a nice 6 speed automatic, no CTV!
