26:51 I absolutely love the fact that the game has no further checks and lets you finish GSI, so satisfying! Looking forward to the video about the main sequence
This glitch hunting has the pure feeling of science and discovery, I love it. The hypothesis testing at the end especially around 32:50 could be shown to science students. How do we know whether Link loads further into the shrine in v1.1 if he doesn't ragdoll? We must test our hypothesis-with fire, of course!
Alongside the sense of wonder and the journey alongside to go through these glitch hunts, I think my favorite thing about all your videos is the hilarious B-roll you use. Various links popping in and out of frame, non-explained and non-acknowledged non-sequiturs, and so on. They take time to set up and film, so I wanted to give appreciation to such a subtle yet wonderful party of your videos.
Thanks! I really appreciate that! Those small things tend to not get pointed out, while that is fine, I know some people see them, I still need a comment like this every now and then to know. They do take time but I love doing them, so even if no one said anything, I probably would still do it haha I wish I was better at making some background lore. I wanna try. The non-explained stuff is my favorite.
The whole scene with Link lying on the floor, dead, while Rauru gives him the ability is amazing. I had to rewind and watch it again XD I wanna animate that someday.
This is such a good video. The explanation of all the zglitches at the beginning that I never really understood, showing the process of how there's 99 failed ideas for the one that works... not to mention the glitch engineering itself being genius. Also, the dying corpse of Link receiving ultrahand is comedic gold.
There I was, doomscrolling through TH-cam, wondering how to settle myself before bedtime. Lo and behold, Timber has risen from the depths, just in time to quell my unsettled heart.
I appreciate you taking the time to explain every glitch. It can be hard to keep track of what's happening in the game sometimes, but your channel (and others) helps me stay up to date.

I just want to say that you are very good at explaining very complex glitches in easily understandable ways! I really love the graphics you use! I am someone who has never speedran a game, never purposefully used glitches, or ever played totk, let alone any other Zelda game; and yet I actually understood what you were explaining and could actually follow the process throughout the video! I also love how often you try to make glitches more attainable for average players instead of only glitch hunters/testers or speed runners. It’s really cool how accessible you try to make ridiculous feats in video games!

The amount of glitches this game has is reaching Ocarina of Time levels of absurd. Will we ever be able to ACE in TotK? Probably not since the gamecode is several times more refined and convoluted, but never say never.
With ACE, that is a memory handling bug that by luck, lets you write to executable memory. These days, executable memory typically is not writeable. It is not impossible, writeable memory that can be executed is how Just in time compilers (JITs) work, but it is unlikely for a compiled game like TotK.
i am an incredibly casual player of totk, i saw some glitch videos early on but didnt watch many and stopped looking after the initial hype died down to focus on my own playthrough. seeing this insanity is so incredibly cool and i love the in depth but simple explanations on all the different glitches! thank u for a very entertaining half an hour :D
Awesome! I think the game is better than people make it out to be, but I do understand BotW burnout. There is still plenty of interesting things to find!
this is quite possibly my favorite glitch (glitch combo? glitch sequence? glitch run?) that's been discovered in TOTK. back in BOTW i did the moon-jump wrongwarp thing to skip the sheika slate & runes on my master mode save file; performing that and subsequently playing on that file was some of the most fun i've had in either game. i'm super glad that it's possible in the sequel too!
@@exschweizer you have to use a second save file to set up the moon jump glitch using the horse target practice minigame, and use it to set up a wrongwarp in an easy shrine (like a blessing shrine). then, in the main file, you activate the wrongwarp to enter the shrine and get a spirit orb (this is also how you teleport out of the shrine of resurrection without picking up the sheika slate). once you have _any_ 4 spirit orbs (not necessarily from the great plateau shrines) the Old Man will give you the paraglider and get rid of the void-out barrier. i forget exactly how to use the moon jump to set up the wrong warp, but i'm pretty sure SmallAnt did it and has a video that roughly covers the method.

32:11 Does that explosion radius reach all the way to the door? It explodes the instant the shine entering cutscene starts despite Link not actually being in that spot yet, so it might be that the distance he walks during the cutscene is just enough to put him outside that radius when loading in
You always explain the same basic totk glithces but this time you really made it really understandable and fun to watch with those graphics at the beginning. Nice
I was on vacation when it happened. So I had to spam the share button on the switch every 10 seconds to get that footage haha. My jaw was on the floor.
Despite having seen these glitches so many times, your explanations here are the first that really made sense to me. Also, in BotW there was a failsafe where if you completed one of the tutorial shrines without getting the rune (which is possible without glitches), the monk would say to go back to the beginning and get it. I like that in TotK they were so certain it would be impossible to skip the abilities OR complete the shrine without them that they didn't do this.
I don't even know how I noticed this because I'm not the type to do so, but the SSMB Practice Range music is actually SSBB (Super Smash Bros Brawl) Anyway insane video!
would a better name for "no save zones" be 'unstable ground'? that's a term used in souls games for objects like elevators for areas where saving and quitting will instead move you to the previous area of 'stable ground' you were stood on, rather than placing you exactly where you saved. One example is runners using quitouts to avoid dying from large falls. If a runner accidentally messes up some platforming, they can quickly quit to the main menu while still falling and, since the game considers their quitout location to be 'unstable' ground, it instead places them at the point they were standing before they started falling.
That’s what I think. While I’ll always confuse someone, and that not their fault, this stuff can be wack sometimes, I really want people to understand, it’s the only way to fully appreciate it imo. I like to think if someone doesn’t understand then I can do better at explaining it.
