@@CarGuyV8 I've got a 1994 mustang gt with a 302 with a 75mm throttle body, cold air intake, smog pump delete, underdrive pulleys, long tubes, xipipe, and pypes pype Bomb catback in it. Always wondered what it makes to the wheels but haven't dynoed it yet. Car also has a 340 lph aeromotive fuel pump that's E85 compatible in it too so hoping to install larger injectors and tune it for E85.
There's a video of it on my page running a 2004 G35 with exhaust and intake. All it has that run was an intake, flowmaster dumps, throttle body, smog pump, and some weight reduction. And the shifter was acting stupid going into 3rd like they always do but I have since fixed that.
Those years were the best truck Ford ever made. Had a ‘95 with a inline 6. Best damn motor ever! Had 290k when I sold it. Still got a 92 with a 302. It’s had problems for about 3 years now and I can’t figure it out for nothing!
The trucks had different intakes, a different cam, and different exhaust. They were a little underrated but the early 90s only made like 185 with a flat tappet cam and speed density.
I have a 95 four-wheel-drive single cab long bed high output 302 F150 and it came stock with 205 hp. In the years prior to 95 had the low output which made I believe 10 or 15 hp less so that truck is right on par
The manual trucks made more ,my 95 was a 205/285 HP&tq.he will have a higher drivetrain loss cause automatic.i believe his made 190 HP stock flywheel. I had mine on a Dyno and rolled 217/280 tires with 220k on bottom end
My JBA headers will be here this week. Then I am installing my GT40 heads with Comp Cams heavy duty spring kit, Comp Cams .480 lift, Ford Racing lifters. What 4.10 gears are in your truck? I may change out my 3.55s, and see how much difference it makes.
If I remember correctly I used USA Standard Gear 4.10s. They actually made a big difference. They took off basically 0.5 seconds in the 0-60. Let me know how your truck feels after you install those heads and cam please.
94 has the explorer cam just like mine so all you need is longtubes and really free flowing exhaust. Also bump the timing to 13 btdc. That’ll give a few extra too.
Do the manual 5.0s have rev limiters? I haven't found the limiter in my 94 f150 5.0 and have been nervous to keep revving it. The forums don't seem to have answers. I've been to 45mph in 1 gear and it was screaming but didn't hit the limiter
I would imagine it has a rev limiter. If you give me your rear gear ratio and tire size I can tell you what rpm you’re running at 45 mph. I’d imagine you don’t have a tach. My limiter is at around 5,200 I believe.
Are you sure you hit 45? With 3.55s, a 29” tire, and a 3.90 1st gear in the M5OD-R2 45 mph would be 7,300 rpm and by then you’d be into valve float if it would even rev that high. 35 mph is 5,600 rpm.
@@CarGuyV8 pretty sure I got too 45. If not 45, ive definitely done 40 in 1st. And it certainly sounded like it might have been overrevving. I could feel the hp and torque dropped off at the end. Damn definitely stupid. Won't be doing that anymore.... I'm guessing it doesn't have a Rev limiter

I'm happy someone finally made a fbo old 302. Every time you type in "Fbo 302" u get a video of a 2013 boss 302 with bolt ons

I could’ve sworn the 5.0 even in 1991 made 225hp… a bit more than 185. Then again, maybe 225 was referring to the crank instead of the wheels.

Pull the spout connector near the drivers side fender. Then time it like you would any small block. Then plug the spout connector back in.
