I sold my last OBS ford in 08, but i did this several times. Back then, you had to go to a junkyard and salvage 2 electric fans from a couple of honda civics.
I've heard you need a higher amp alternator, max fuse, and bigger cables? Was it worth it, did it actually save much? From what I've seen, it shows a 4 hp gain on the dyno at the wheels on MinuteMasters.
@@levilambert8068 I'm sure these electric fans come with a radiator but I'm saying is do you have to replace the fact radiator with a new one that come with the kit.
I did mine in Fall 2021 and noticed my battery voltage going from 14.3 down to 12.7 when idle. At night was going down even more :(. Back to the fan clutch but this time i got me a OEM motorcraft.

What wire did you tie into with radio? Fused ignition? [Yellow/black?]
I just bought a 92’ Flareside. What benefits have you gotten from this fan since installing it?
Can you use you're existing radiator for this or do you need a whole new radiator.
Im pretty sure this is a all in 1 unit. I seen one on amazon that looked just like this that was all 1 package. Not 100% though.

I have a the same truck as yours on 31s on 15x10 mud tires but I want to add that mod to mine

You have to run a 100 amp alternator, horsepower can range from 10 to 20 . If you run a single fan set up it will draw 30 amps.
This video was not very good compared to your lift kit installs. But it is because this kits relay is a confusing POs.
Dude has no clue what thing goes to what. Jeeeeze
ru kidding me? this actually worked? you seems clueless and it defitely seems hooked up wrong!
