Clean as it was 23 years ago. I used to have SLP Power-Flos when my car was solid axel and I loved how quite it was at idle but it roared above 3,000 rpm.

Congrats and enjoy. I bought a 99 ws6 7 months ago, with 1 7/8 headers, 3" tru duals, tsp stage 2 cam, ls3 injectors, mighty mouse catch can , panhard bars and 3200 circle d stall. Paid 5k for it. I've been wanting one for many years. I drive it like i stole it! I have it on my channel. New sub!

The 90s obs fords were better in every way!!! All the motors that were offered were legendary, 4.9 inline 6 -legend, the hallowed ford 5.0 legend, the 351 Windsor, legend, the 7.5 460 big block legend, and the 7.3 turbo diesel LEDGEND, Chevy couldn’t compete at this time AND THEY DIDNT!!!!!!

Was it ticking after replacing the valve? If so, you should replace the oil pickup o ring. Real common problem. My ticking went away in my van and oil pressure resolved.

In 94 dodge took over everyone wanted one. Plus the 5.9 was a monster just terrible mileage.

People don’t really understand how far manufacturing and mechanical engineering technologies have come. Richard holdener had tested a 305 and made quite a few combos. The highest being 612 hp. I myself have a 305 powered Chevy truck. Mine is a 4x4 though on 33s so it’s slow but not getting the 20 mpg everyone else is getting, idk how to get it to that point either. So I might just do a top end kit and make some power, might as well I’m already getting 8 mpg 😅

305 sounds better idling but the 383 sounds better in rpm

the bigger threat is all the people who get woken up at 2 am to explosive and super loud exhausts and have to follow behind a civic blowing sparks or a lifted truck blowing coal are getting really pissed about the dangerous and obnoxious cars. they don't care if you mod your car until it effects them, they are perfectly happy to BAN mods all together. it won't be just some of the mods it will be the full, can't change anything ever kind of laws. we in the car community need to be better neighbors to everyone else, we are very out numbered.

Probably they have made cars too complicated to work on, too hard to modify. The emissions nonsense doesn't help either you can't get the car inspected if you modify it.
