I have a question when I got it all wired up and tried plugging the red Hcmotion wire into the battery and the DRLs are always running. We even took the red wire off the battery and plugged the battery back in and the arrow DRLs were still running

You can buy amazon sensors and they work. I literally have aftermarket wheels and put 40$ sensors in them and relearned them on a pepboys for 15$, Cheap and effective.
Hey man great video, I purchased an is250 with an aftermarket head unit. That head unit causes the tpms light to stay on, is there a way to disable the warning light with techstream?
No. And the head unit isn’t the issue unless the previous owner removed the TPMS box above the old radio which you’ll need to replace to get rid of the Check System light.
I had that specific cable from the same seller. It doesn't support TPMS module reading and editing, also doesn't support key fob programming. A lot of other customers confirmed that.

Hey I can’t seem to get into the lighting customization menu. I’ve tried v10 v12 and v14 and it just won’t open up when I click on it. I can get some of the other customization menus to open and successfully change things but the others don’t even load and open. My dealer told me there’s no lockouts on the tech stream menus for my car if it works on another of the same year and mines an 07 is250 6mt. Any suggestions for me to try? Of do I just have to go to to the stealership? Could I be doing something wrong in tech stream or something?

Yes it’s a Canadian car :( I may take it to the dealer anyways and see if they magically get them to turn off since when I described all this to them they said they could turn them off lol. But if there’s anything you could suggest otherwise to get the drls to turn off or to disable them without disabling the high beams on my vlands I’d greatly appreciate the help! There isn't an option to turn lights on upon unlock. Only option is the auto off lights duration. It can be set to 30 seconds, 1 min, or 90 seconds after you lock the car at night. Double remote lock will always turn lights off immediately.

On My oem lights the parking lights don't come on unless you put them on .also when I put the spec d headlights on the drl comes on when I put the parking lights on .so what I'm trying to say is if I put the vland lights on will I have to disable the parking lights or will it be already disabled from factory .thanks hope to hear from you.

The 2011 was probably a halogen model that someone swapped DRL headlights on. Not all 2011 came with the DRL, only factory HID cars got them. Halogen got the old style and wiring.

My version is like 8 years old. Best place to research is OBD365 blog. The newer versions require activation and there’s a forum where a guy does it, I have not tried it.

No. The VLAND height adjustment motor isn’t the same as the AFS system for 2IS. The motor is similar to the manual switch controlled height on Tundra, Sienna, and BRZ/FRS/GT86. They use a dial yo adjust height based on height.
@kamrynhamby1198 sounds like you may have a “lite” version of Techstream. I’ve heard they have that out there and many of the menus and functionality is disabled.

Need to rewire the pins and pull ACC power via fuse box. Check clublexus threads from 10 years ago.

I’m not sure it’s the cable. I heard newer versions of TS don’t have TPMS or key fob capabilities for some reason. I’m on a 2015 version.

Yes techstream is required to disable DRL flicker.

The cable should work for all but the software will vary. I’ve heard newer copies don’t have all the features and abilities. I still have V12.

You need to rewire any aftermarket DRL headlights. They come connected to parking lights. Need to disable factory DRL on high beam.

The 2012 F has the LED check DRL.

Look for the virtual machine version - most of the installers are filled with viruses. Just used this a couple days ago for my tpms, worked great.

Is yours Canada spec? It’s disabled for Canada since DRL are a federal law there.

No idea. It should all be same. The car may have different menus and settings. Example: Canada can’t disable DRL due to laws.

Get that Launch scan tool I have recent video on. It can be used to disable DRL (unless you have Canada car)

@Jordan-ql8pv nope. Canadien is blocked due to federal law. Only way is to physically disconnect DRL and rewire high beams.
