I noticed you ceramic coated the headlights, I don't know why I never thought of that. I use PPF on my headlights and they haven't re-yellowed for 5+ years now. Both work well =)

I've had my IS250 for a year now, just getting back into customizing it. Good video and good content. I have been worked on this set of design and testing for Hc Motion myself. One thing about that gap under the lights, I think it’s not because of the fitment of the lights but more of the aftermarket bumper you have got. On my 2008 isf, I don’t get that gap at all. I am on the stock bumper FYI. But i guess it’s not such a big deal or maybe have rubber seals at the bottom to cover. But yeah, love the content very well said.

Hey, Recently just installed these back out of the garage and I noticed that the normal lights stay on but I started to notice the DRL's flickering and one staying on while the other turns off when I put it into park. I don't know if the DRL's aren't on because I haven't pulled the AFS fuse quite yet due to being busy and had to stop installment. Just wondering if this is because of the AFS fuse or if it is because I need to disable something via tech stream.
Love the look and design but not the price point haha. I have the rears and love them though. For now I’ll settle for my LED DRL bulb and light tinted film I installed. Definitely saving up for these though!
Lights look good. The unlock animation is meh imo but a cool feature. I still prefer my 2011 OEM’s to any aftermarkets but these could grow on me. I love the HC motion tail lights though they definitely modernize the car from the rear. These modernize the front along with the bumper for sure. Nice work!!

I just installed mine and i need the resistor. Also, does your DRL flicker when you switch to drive. Mine is flickering like crazy almost looks like it is vibrating. But the moment i turn on my lights it disappears.
@@TunerwithKids I wired it to how the instructions told me to wire it. Which was on the IG2, but i crossreferenced yours, and i think you wired yours to the fuse below that which i tried as well. AFS fuse is already been taken out as well. Battery voltage was at 14v before starting the car and while itnis running it is on 13.6v Also my car is a 2010 IS-F. So I turn on the car. Only the check mark is on. No issues. While the light stock is still off and once you put the car out of park. The three led projectors starts up super low brightness but it flickers. When you turn the llight stock to on. It stops the flickering. On auto, when it is daylight still the flickering happens, when it is night time, it turns on full brightness with no flicker. Everything else works perfectly. Start up animation and hazard. Hyper blinking also is the issue but we know that is just a resistor and it is on it's way.

I don't have enough space with my ISF to fit my hand more so a ratchet. Edit. I just figured it. I will need a long screw driver. First time modding cars 😅
Goodnight friend. I bought those same headlights for my 2010 lexus. I don't know if yours is the same year. my question you had to add resistance to your headlights for the amber low beams, because I had to add it. Besides, I also had to add a module that they sent me because the light was blinking. I want to know if all these things happened to you.
First off... Thanks for your great videos!..I bought a set of after market head lights from YQ motoring...Im having issues of high beam working...I pulled the right fuse from inside... Every thing works but bright lights...Any idea what would cause this issue...I contacted YQ motoring...No help what so ever!... Please help!...lol

I feel like the HCMotion and VLANDs are all produced by the same company in China probably. Because there are some VLANDS and some no name headlights that look exactly like this.
Hey man I have a question, my son has a 2012 IS that had HIDs and we switched to LEDs but the beam pattern is a bit off. Do the LEDs have to be positioned at 9/3 o’clock like all the other cars or is it different for the 2012 IS? The bulb fits in the housing sideways, it’s facing the fender so I’m curious if the correct position is still 9/3 o’clock. The LED bulbs that are in now don’t adjust so they sit at an angle like 10/2 oclock. His bulb is a D4S. If it needs to be at 9/3 oclock do you know of any D4S LEDs that adjust or do u have any suggestions on how to get the bulb to fit correctly for the nice beam pattern? There are several cut outs on the bulb that look like they can be used to change positioning but they don’t seem to be big enough. I guess I could Dremel them to fit at 9/3 o’clock if needed but want to confirm that’s the correct positioning first. Thank u

Good video bro..i too got these lights for my IS. Do the checkmark white lights turn on automatically while the engine starts? For me i had to twist the headlight switch once for turning them ON but then rear light also turns ON which i dont need. I believe the white checkmark light alone is supposed to turn on automatically along with engine as Daylight running lamp..right? Pls correct me if wrong.

Hey man I just installed the HC headlights and I'm having this weird thing where anytime the car is on the tribeams at the bottom below the running light or on and they're like flickering
So the fuse we needed to pull was the fuel system one to plug in that one, I did that but now my car has super delayed throttle response with the fuses they sent plugged in, how do I fix this cause the drl’s don’t work without this fuse?
They show to use ECU fuse but it doesn’t fit well so I used fuel pump fuse next to it. Not sure about your throttle response issue. The downside of uses fuel pump fuse is that the car cycles and primes the fuel system a few hours after each drive so DRL might randomly come on for 10 seconds.

The fitment is spot on. Right now my issue is the bumper and aftermarket brackets to fit the 4IS bumper which causes it to hang. I have to take off and adjust but waiting for HC Motion to send me a replacement headlight. My adjustment isn’t right.

I can't get just my drls to be on. I have a problem with flashing of the headlights when the day time running lights are on or when it's selected to auto in the day time. When I turn the headlights on they stop flashing and is a steady beam. Any ideas why? Trying to get a hold of hc motion now, the sent me a module that connects between the wiring in the headlight, but it didn't fix the problem.
@@TunerwithKids I wired the red wire directly to the battery, and my fuse in the same spot as you. Installed the resistors too, my left light won’t turn off unless I manually do it everytime it is actives on in someway. I think it’s faulty
You haven’t seen my build on them I guess. $500 buys you cheap ass halogens and a suspect DRL. I’ve got $300 worth of upgrades in the BiLED projectors and Cree high powered LED chips and custom DRL boards. I’ve got it on an OEM 07 harness and Factory autolevel works. No AFS lights since I also have the swivel motors inside (not used). Check my first videos on the channel for the build details.

u can fix the trunk fitment but lowering the trunk latch. its two bolts and super easy. finally figured it out and its a common issue on IS’s.

The brackets seem to be shifted slightly and causing not to snap in. The Depo snapped in. I think there’s a small adjustment.

Yeah the stock HIDs with the daytime light are nice, but for those of us with halogen we definelty want something better 😂

No flickers. Did you wire to the fuse and battery? Did you disable the old high beam DRL in techstream?

What do you mean? I adjusted them on the car. It’s a screw.

The D4S projector is t designed for plug and play LED. The beam and cutoff will be trash regardless.

You probably have the AFS light. Pull the fuse. I show at the end of my video.
Are the HC Motions brighter than the Vland? Also does the Vland fit better?
I showed the output readings. The HC are brighter than original VLAND. Fitment is same.

You have to run the wire and add a fuse like the instructions say for DRL.

Do you think the depos with hids would be brighter than the hc motions ?
Probably scattered uncontrolled light. Those halogen projectors aren’t good and more blinding with HID kit.
how is the performance of the stock lights verses the HC motion ? or stock verses vland or any other lights whatsover
Probably better than most peoples aged stock HID.

Did anyone here have fitment issues on an 08' OEM 2nd gen bumper? Really considering these over any other headlights due to the superb light output.

No hyperblink but if you saw my video on the flasher relay, you know why. I haven’t noticed as I don’t watch the headlights when I unlock.

Weird. It should just be single wire yo power. Did you wire to battery and fuse like instructions? Also need to disable Factory DRL on high beam.

If you don’t disable DRL in techstream, the headlights will click during the day because of the bi-LED actuator.
