You may not be a Ford fan but you got a really great deal and FEs always start back up. They never die they just get retired until someone who wants them sees them and get they hands on them
A Ford F100 between 1967 and 1979 is my dream truck. And looking the way it did when it rolled off the line, not chopped or lowered. This truck is awesome
Hey Guys my name is Rock I live in Arizona but I am originally from Mount Pleasant, I see your shop on 271 every time I go home. Praise God things are back working in the right direction. I just joined a few months back, just flipping through TH-cam and say your shop and told my wife we pass that shop every time we go home. She never noticed I make sure she domes next time. Didn’t make it Thanksgiving had car trouble but will be going thru when it warms up no more driving through ice stores for me!! God Bless and it is an honor to be a subscriber to your channels!! EAST TEXAS ROCKS!!
At $1000 you got a good deal. I appreciate you letting viewers know what you paid for a vehicle. Some of the channels I watch on TH-cam never disclose the purchase price, because they hope to sell the item, and make a big profit. Keep up the good work guys, and gal!
Somebody really loved that truck in the late 90's. This is just as good of a find as anyone could ever get. Most old trucks you see parked from the road are much rougher up close but you guys found a gem and being a short bed is a huge bonus.
That is a good truck. My neighbor years ago had one with a 240 6cyl. Three on the tree. I use drive it & loved it. That truck never gave any problems. Good job bringing it back to life.
The patience on that car is unbelievable I mean it waited till it got stuck on the ground never giving up hope that one day someone out there would came for its rescue
Dang that sounds just like a Good Ol Ford to me. Dad had an old 59 F150 Gave it to my Oldest Brother as none of the Others including my Husband got it running. Dad always said that who ever got it running it was their's. Other than that Dad said it belongs to the Oldest Boy. So I took it to my Brother up in Missouri. Thank you for not only sharing this Video but bringing back some Great Memories. That Old Ford was my Covered Wagon moving us to Texas in 1977.
1,000 bones... Thats awesome! Good find, and great looking truck! My dad always said "If you want a car, you buy a Chevy. You want a truck, you buy a Ford".
First vehicle i ever owned and learned to drive was a 69 Ford pickup. It's green on white long bed, 3speed on column with an overdrive switch. The 360 was reliable and purty good on the giddy up. She was a little crazy on corners and gravel but that might've been mostly my younger self going too fast. She needed some work back in 97 but i was a poor college kid and couldn't afford to fix her. Been in the barn ever since just begging to get back on the road. Your video is gettin me inspired. Thank you for taking all that trashy junk off your truck. I can't believe someone thought that hideous visor ever looked good! Yuck.
Absolutely love the shape of the truck guy's.that tailgate in some thing else.keep up the fantastic work that you are doing.God bless 🙏 you and your family.john from England.👍
I have a 68 F250 Ranger. Love seeing the old Fords brought back to life. Excellent video! Also, if you didnt throw away those fender metal pieces (they are factory) and the window rain gutters, i will buy them. We just need to workout shipping details.
Looks 100% better with all that junk off and those new wheels mounted. Now it looks like you have something worth restoring! I did the same thing with a '68 3/4 ton 390 w/4 on the floor back in '84. Loved that thing!!
I know everyone has their opinion but to me 70s fords best truck ever made..glad yall decided to give tht one life again even though yall ain't ford guys..good work
Good evening gents it is where iam enjoyed your new video on turning rust you guys have a gift to save these old cars from the scrap yard it still amazes me how indestructible a V8 is I have watched many of your videos and your dedication is unbelievable I salute you guys long live texas oh by the way when you were working on the truck did I spy a mini in the background is a British Leyland or a bmc mini type so take care keep up the good work fellas best wishes from denton Manchester England 🏴.
My first truck was a 68 F100 Ranger short bed, 390 4brl with 3 on the tree moved to the floor. No options except Lighting which gave you the cab mounted bed light and foot well lighting inside. Truck got junked without me knowing about it after a friend passed who was letting me keep on his property, I found it in the junkyard in a pile of scrapped flatened cars. I still have the badges from the truck on a shelf. Want another one bad but that truck here would bring 5K all day long around my neck of the woods.
Congratulations on rescuing this pick-up, as we call it here in Brazil... There are many of this model here, it was the F-100 in the 60s and 70s and then it became the diesel-powered F-1000. They are very good and resistant. Ronald, Brazil.
Love y’all’s content. Two things I don’t think I’ve seen y’all do too often…adjust the idle on the carburetor and adjust the timing with the distributor. Just my two cents. Keep up the good work fellers!!
First time viewer only 28 minutes in and I am now a subscriber how this is not a tv show is beyond me but you guys got something here. Keep up the good content.
Welcome back guys good to see a new video on this channel 😀. With this particular critter at least you're not having to cut it out of the pucker brush.
Excellent candidate for The Turnin Rust Crew. You did it again. Another great find to start and drive. If I were a Ford ran I'd put a bid on it. Thank again for the great video. Blessings. Trucker Ray ✝️
Best pic up ever built hopefully won't get trashed with all the new junk what a dream find been lookin for that for years wow let me know how much would look good in Tennessee
FYI you can remove the top of those 2bbl carbs and clean/ adjust the float, you can even adjust the float with the truck running with the top of the carb off , done that many times myself
I am so glad you pulled all that crap off the truck. That's a good looking truck, and those wheels were a great choice. And I am very happy to see you guys in control of Turnin Rust as well.
TR, congrats for getting your channel back up and running and for doing a nice save on an abandoned truck that still had a lot more life in it when parked. All the best!
I'm glad you got it up and running again, it's good to see. Removing all the fender trim and visors, that stuff should've stayed on. I hope you can flip it, because lowering trucks is a huge mistake more often than not.
Got to love a Ford truck, will is start , It's funny how VGG , and You all bag out fords , But they always start and drive and your viewers number go up , as everyone love a Ford truck ( no#1 selling truck in the world ) , junk yard digs know how good a Ford is , For Only Real Drivers !! Love the show , You and your dad work well together, that's very rear , GOD Bless you all , until next time take care , 👍🇦🇺
John Deere is the starting fluid to use for some reason it's Alot more flammable and starts your engine alot easier. Also it helps when you mix up your starting gas to use your gas with some Berryman B 12 chemtool. (Kinda clean your carb as you go sorta thing)along with octane. Booster andyour 2 stroke oil for lubin up that top end. It not only makes sense bit actually works well. Just sayin.
Gotta say liked it both with the accessories and also after. Does look good with the accessories removed though. Less crowded and that is a sweet old find right there. Glad it’s brought back to life.
I was so happy when they took all those accessories off. Oh man, that was driving me crazy. That's probably the first thing would have done just to give me inspiration to move forward if anything.

I am a Ford guy and I think that truck is beautiful. Nice job.
Thanks 👍
I just happen to find this channel and me too.Cant find many channels that explore Ford pickup trucks.
The body style of the '69 Ford pickup is, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful truck body style there is. Yours is beautiful.

@@markrobinson4230 Ya, great stuff... ...and it is easy and pretty cheap to add power brakes on these trucks
That is a good truck. My neighbor years ago had one with a 240 6cyl. Three on the tree. I use drive it & loved it. That truck never gave any problems. Good job bringing it back to life.

1,000 bones... Thats awesome! Good find, and great looking truck! My dad always said "If you want a car, you buy a Chevy. You want a truck, you buy a Ford".
My first new truck was a 67 Ford. 390 standard three speed on the tree. I loved that truck... Had an after market ac mounted under the dash.
My first vehicle was a 69 ford f100 shortbed. This brings back some really good memories for me. Thanks saving it.
'Ol Ford was never ready to give up on life. Thanks for giving her the second chance.
Ford Motor Company No.1
I'm a Ford Man and I love It!

I love it when someone trash talks a Ford. And yet after 20 years of sitting, it still runs.

So glad you guys are back!!! God is GOOD!!!
I was so happy when they took all those accessories off. Oh man, that was driving me crazy. That's probably the first thing would have done just to give me inspiration to move forward if anything.
