We feel like this is one of the best "Will It Run" videos we've ever been apart of! If you guys agree, liking and sharing this video helps us reach a larger audience. Lets hit a million views and take this truck to the next level!!
I was thinking about that as well. I can't think of one that's better than this. In the first half of the show, the only thing running was the Bush family. It looked like something out of a third world country, like you're stuck with what you get so you make the best of it. I never thought you folks could turn it around like that. You have all my respect. I thought that was destined to be a boat Mooring
In locomotive workshop this engine would have been placed in a bath of warm high-boiling point liquid paraffin oil (kerosene) with a temperature of about 100 degrees Celsius. For a period about two days. The hot oil makes the metals slowly expand and the kerosene - being a penetrant - penetrates all the engine's moving parts. The boiling point of high-boiling point liquid paraffin is 152 degrees Celsius. Great video!!
That is simply amazing! I’ve never seen an engine that was in a vehicle be in that bad of shape. To get it to run is the most incredible thing I’ve by far on any TH-cam channel. My hat’s off to you!! Enjoy all your content. God bless you all!
That is absolutely amazing. I looked at that motor and never would think you could make it run again. You guys are absolutely amazing mechanics and you inspire others to do what you guys do
Even the most broken, rusted up, and abandoned things and people can be saved with hard work and patience. So many would have given up. Thanks for sharing ❤️
Just recently come across your channel, it blesses me as a Christian to see a family all pulling together in harmony. Also I love watching you rescue all of these beautiful old vehicles. I rather wish I lived near you because I would love to be involved.
Brother, you grow where you’re planted and God is the one that planted you there. Maybe you can talk it over with God to where you can be your own version of this where you’re at. Just a thought our Lord truly does work in the mysterious ways. God bless ✌️
Gentleman That was the most courageous engine rebuild I have ever witnessed, When I first saw what you were working with I thought that you guys were crazy, but as you continued I hoped that you would be able to get that crazy rusted motor running again, congratulations on a job well done.
I can't believe how much I was cheering for an old Ford pickup to run again (and I'm a Mopar guy)! Well done guys - nice work. Love how these videos are a metaphor for life - don't give up even on what appear to be the most lost of causes!
Bless you for showing us again what faith and persistence can achieve. Old trucks don't really die, they just rest until guys like you come by and give them some loving care
I have to agree with you. Nevermind the seized cam or the lifters or the rockers or the pushrods, the stinking thing had compression! And with the paint its now a craigslist rebuild!
I think all your"praise God",exhaultations got you over the hump ! Truly miraculous ressurection of that old FE. The bed on it looks to be GM. It's got to go !
This comment got me through the entire video. The way comments are visible now. I'm super impressed you saved this truck. Absolutely love the wheels. This is something my buddy and I would've done 25yrs ago. The big money garages are neat to watch. But I could completely resemble the steps y'all took to get this one going. Nicely done.
I’ve seen some rusty engines in my 7 years of rebuilding engines but this definitely takes the top. You guys definitely have more faith than me that’s for sure, I would’ve given up long ago.
I'm totally blown away, I wouldn't have even attempted to make something like what you started with, and think it would ever run again. You guys definitely have faith. That should have never ran again. Amazing Grace, that's for sure. Amazing.😇
I am 61 years old and have my Grandpa’s 65 Ford that is exactly like this one. I thought mine might be too far gone but after seeing this I think it will be a little easier to fix Mine ran about 8 years ago and has been sitting in a shed since You guys got me anxious to see what it will do Thank you for the great video
Man! You two must be offspring of the patron saint of positive thinking! This content should be required viewing for all Americans. Noting ever gets done by people with negative attitudes.
WOW! I'm speechless! AMAZING! I have NEVER seen an engine that far gone, come back to life as well as it did, it doesn't even smoke! WELL DONE! I agree, the best one yet on U-tube!
I kept saying, "surely they'll quit now". "OK, NOW they'll be done" and you kept going, blew me away. You guys are a determined relentless duo!!! Hopefully the devil says the same thing about you when he throws a wrench in your plans. God bless you, my brothers.
I just came across your channel today. I love it. I have no doubt that a lot of the old engines will run. Another TH-cam channel Fabrats found a boat that has been sunk for over thirty years. They pulled it from one of the lakes from the reservoir of lake Powell or lake Mead. The boat was in tact and in good shape for being sunk for thirty years. They pulled the motor and went all through it and managed to get it running. When they put it in the water it preformed like new. They found the original owner and gave it back to them. Just like the videos of yours I’ve been watching, great content. Never give up on what you are doing. If you can think it or dream it you can make it by not giving up and following thru to make the dream and achieve the goal. Great video. God bless.
I once had a volvo145 wagon, I installed a high performance head a guy sold me that was sitting in a barn,I lapped in the valves, and everything looked good- I drove the car 2 miles, and it started skipping,I drove it home. And found a valve spring had broken,at first glance,it was just a fluke( I thought) luckily the valve didn't have the keepers unload and drop into the cylinder! I replaced it. And continued. Driving it easy, came to the first stop sign and think! It began skipping again, once again it was a broken valve spring! Under the magnifying glass, the valve springs were pitted with rust, enough to,after running for a while would break. I replaced them all after that, shortly after spun a rod bearing, great lesson to me- great experience also! Keep up the fine videos! Very well done
I’m sure many have said what I’m about to say. What I wouldn’t do to have spent time with my dad fixing things. He passed away many years ago. What a treasure this show is. Thanks for sharing the blessing.
My lord what a work and effort have you guys put in this whole revival. You guys really do alot for your audience. Fantastic work! Thank you all for the great video's!
I Love the Process and how you show so much of the detail! like how at 1 hour and 7 minutes you left in the whole scene of filling up the temporary gas tank. Most channels would edit that out but it was such a special moment that the truck was about to start for the first time in so long that i think it really adds to the feel of the channel!
I am so glad that I have fond your videos. I am happy to see you are Christians like me . I have great memories of me and my father working on cars or just building or just fixing things with him .He is the one who taught me how to work with my hands and never give up when things got rough .
That was the most in depth will it run ever guys, I really enjoyed the dedication and the use of as many factory parts as possible. This will probably be one of my favorite episodes, I hope to see more like this. Thanks for taking my mind off all the craziness. God Bless.
Thank you all again for constantly tying these old rigs back to salvation and what God has done for us! I really appreciate your constant glorification of Him! You all keep it up!
Well done guys. I love those old Fords. I love your channel for a few reasons but mainly because your not afraid to give God the Glory. God bless you both.
Enjoyed the journey from when you pulled this truck out of the ground, to cleaning up the nest under the hood, to unraveling the engine through its rebuild and finally getting it started.
They're are so many of these that are being found and restored so generations that come after us can enjoy them. Machines built at their finest. Amazon car hop trays.
Lance, I have just watched this one again. It is indeed one of your best efforts. I loved this old girl from the get go You all are living your testimony daily by keeping your Faith and continuing to Praise God and give Him the glory for all of your success. Amen.
I too am amazed. I love that you just did what most of us would considered impossible, but I am So proud that you gave God the Glory for your success. I look forward to all of your videos.

I just LOVE how you guys are so intentional with what you guys do. Even though this video may have been about reviving a car, it brought an awaking to me. " sometime what may people call dead is only asleep." I take that word with me! Thank you guys for letting yourself be use bh God.
Wow. I love this kind of restoration. Other channels just replace parts in the name of restoration. Keeping the vintage look and originality is the thing i like.
It’s incredible you saved that truck and got it running. Thank you for sharing that with us! You are preserving history and sharing the lords word! This is my favorite channel, thank you for you for what you are doing!
Guys, this was the most rewarding restoration video I have ever watched. I almost cried when you pulled out the spray cans and the final result was phenomenal. Praise God, that you didn't know when to stop. I hope that you spend some more time and bring that truck back to life completely, even with a new paint job. Thanks so much for not giving up
The Dad has a really good feel for how much torque to apply and when. You can see the control and calculations he is doing based on the feedback. That's experience and control right there. It is the best way to avoid making things worse.
It's so wonderful to see a father and son team work so well together! Loved that presentation and you thought those following your channel or at least me to never give up! Also, it was heartwarming to see you end that podcast with a bible verse! May you be blessed abundantly! Greetings from Tasmania, Australia.
Thank you two so much. Never ending determination without all the fussing and cussing. Just what our hearts and minds needed. To God be all the glory. 🙏🏽❤️
Epic resurrection. From the start I was saying there was no way that would run. You proved that you are that damn good to have pulled it off. You have earned our respect and admiration. Salud 🍻
DEFINITELY the Lazarus engine!!! I’ll lay odds the guy putting that engine together 58 years ago in the no doubt long gone Ford factory, would never have dreamed it would be going through today, what you champions of perseverance are putting it through…trying to resurrect it from a grave he’d never have thought of!! You guys are my heroes!! No one else would have put that much effort into it! 👍🏻👊🏻❤️

God bless y’all what a great job making that truck run again.Hope your not done fixing on that truck, maybe do a interior clean up episode and exterior wash down
That rattle can paint job looks awesome Lance. That engine has a lot of life left. Smooth idle and it doesn't even smoke. Get first and second gear free and she is a nice cruiser. Thank yall for not giving up on the Ole girl God bless.
Much respect to y’all for taking on that challenge! There ain’t no way I would have even began to take that engine apart! It would have been in the scrap yard! But do you fellas even think about a purchase of a wrecker / tow truck of larger size?
Gotta hand it to you guys for not giving up on this gal. The Lord definitely was with y'all, granting energy and wisdom to not just light a gassy rag and walk off. Dragonfire is the solution I would've went for, I think. Thanks for sharing this crazy journey as always.
This was truly one of your best videos , I loved it. I wouldn’t change a thing on the truck but clean it and get it road worth. The GM bed looks great on that truck. You guys deserve a million thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌️😎👍
That's a "DuPont" overhaul. Throw whatever parts you have on it, spray some paint on it and call it done. You guys did an exceptional job getting that one to run again. Congrats to you both! Is that an old Chevy Cameo bed? If it is and is not in too bad a shape, it's probably worth a couple of pennies.
Watch us take this thing to the next level by converting it into a short bed here: th-cam.com/video/d7WxotDSVtk/w-d-xo.html
love the videos! much respect for what you do from london uk!
Are you sure thats not the factory motor blanket ? I had one of these was my favorite truck !

Wow, fully agree. Best video I've seen in a long time. Enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for sticking with it and saving the old girl...

You guys not giving up on that engine reminds how God never gives up on us no matter how stubborn our faults
And how lucky we are for this to be the case.
That was the most amazing revival that I've ever seen. That is a testament to your abilities and workmanship.
You’ve left me speechless before, but THIS TIME, absolutely in total awe!!! Beyond words gentlemen…beyond words!! 🙏🏻

This was truly one of your best videos , I loved it. I wouldn’t change a thing on the truck but clean it and get it road worth. The GM bed looks great on that truck. You guys deserve a million thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌️😎👍
Rattle always always gives me goose bumps... The lord gave you and your Dad unstoppable determination, he would let you give
Hands down the best revival ever done anywhere! I hope that truck stays with you when finished. And I think those rims were meant to be on it 😆
Well done, you're persistence, knowledge and patience sure did pay off and yes, "To God Be The Glory, AMEN", Great video guy's and thank you! 😀
Always makes my day when your videos POP up Hello my friends 💟💟
Praise God indeed! Fantastic video, enthralling, and with such a great ending. We'll done!
