Best opera singer I've ever heard
In around 1993 Pavarotti came to Japan. My uncle and I went to listen to his performance. His voice was powerful beyond our human comprehension. My uncle and I talked about how he sang "like a stereo". This my favorite uncle is with the Lord and with Mother Mary. He lives in my heart and in every beautiful music note. Forever.
This statement made my heart weap
Sem dúvida, uma recordação afetiva e eterna.
Always , he is the best , even now when he is not anymore in this planet .
There is something so magical about people that can sing...its the purest expression of the beauty and soul of mankind

I’d argue genuine kindness is because any and everyone can and should do it, but your points taken and respected
I agree with you 100%. And I do believe song and music to be the purest form of entertainment we have developed. I have an argument that ‘clowning’ comes a close second. (I mean clowning in a non verbal chat at of expressing a feeling or emotion). Something universal that does not require language, that a human of any age can understand and learn form. It’s a thing that requires human ext to comprehend and often teaches something. I’d argue that through how Pavarotti does what he does, he crosses the barrier between singing and clowning and actually does something that transcends the both. No competition intended, I just think that there are some things that are so special, they are hard to define.
Oh man I agree whole heartedly . "let everyone shout it on trumpet and tuba, on psaltry and harp" This from an atheist.

I just lost my Mom Tuesday, she was one of his biggest fans as well as Opera in general. I played Nessun Dorma, Ava Maria, Carmen and many of her favorite Arias during the last hours of her life. The smile on her face was so beautiful. I'm sitting in her apartment playing those same songs waiting on my siblings to arrive. "For Your Deliverance
Compassion brims in our hearts, vast
Goodness incarnate, wrought in our noble forms
Unwavering in front of the strongest of gales
Remaining humble and calm when praised
For the sake of the earth’s people, we came
Yet most have forgotten they were once divine
The Creator hath laid forth a way back to Heaven
We herald the truth in these mad last days
And for this, we are persecuted
Danger shall not change our convictions

Our woes stem from the absence of goodness
The godless shall perish at the End of Days
Modern thought and ways lead only to the Devil’s side
Man was not divinely made for such a dissolute life
But to await the God-given chance of return to heaven

Catastrophe hangs overhead in these end times

I strive to help humanity at the Creator’s behest
