- As you may know, Audi and I have partnered to create the first ever all-electric Gymkhana car for Electrikhana! But our partnership doesn't stop there... A new year for me means new projects, so I'm very proud to introduce my brand-new Audi RS e-tron GT daily driver! At the snap of a finger (or of my right foot) the e-tron GT produces 637 horsepower and 612 foot-pounds of torque INSTANTLY, making it the fastest RS badged production car on earth. Awesome, right? This Audi partnership is great! By far the coolest EV’s on the road have come out of it in my opinion. This is the kinda take I agree with. The future doesn't look quite so bleak when these things keep popping up on the horizon, but fuel and fire and noise will never be properly replaced. The spectacle is singular - you cannot fake a high-strung turbo 5-cylinder racing to the redline. You just can't.
This! As Tim Allen said, electric cars are essentially over-priced golf carts. You'll never be able to replicate awesome, breathtaking chase sequences when the car is as quiet as a mouse and sounds about as menacing as a pin dropping on a sound dampened carpet.
Ken is slowly becoming more and more Euro since partnering with Audi- all white everything and sophisticated glasses 👓

I never understood the hype on Audi,..... until I rented one. Now we bought an Audi S6 and love it!
@Herkimer Snerd I am right there with you. Now we are ruined for any other car makers. Absolutely by far the best vehicle I've ever owned. We rented a brand new benz SUV a couple weeks ago, and the whole time we just wanted our car back. That's when you know your car is exciting.
Some VFDs that control industrial motors will put out a sound naturally while they invert the power back to AC to drive the motors. I know that some EVs use DC motors but I would think that there has to be a way to give the car some personality based off of what the VFD is doing (tones, sounds, etc). Nothing like a fake combustion engine noise but something more futuristic.
An e-tron estate would be simply beautiful
Audi has my attention with this car. An RS3 variant would be awesome (hopefully more affordable than this) and I’m sure it’s coming.

I'm currently working for Carvana, and we had a 2017 Audi RS7 come in the lot through a truck hauler, quite recently. It had a full Liberty Walk kit, with a Big Country Labs Chassis mount wing. Aside from the E-tron GT, this was the nicest looking and easily the best sounding Audi I've ever seen.

How do the batteries fair in the cold? If you’ve experienced it yet. What’s the percentage drop between efficient temp and say -15c, -20c?

I ran the Toyo Celsius CUV on my wife's 2011 Toyota Sienna, really pretty impressive tires, they did great in the snow, wet, gravel. Wasn't the best handling on the highway and mountain roads of Idaho

That thing is sick, such a beautiful design as well. I can't get over how good audi have been designing that car in the fact it makes sound. I mean not just for show but listening to where you engine is at in the terms of rpm is crucial for a lot of drivers.
