I think his secret is threshold, threshold and some more threshold work and while you’re at it, more threshold work.

I don’t think it’s really anything new, the lactate stuff I mean. Does anyone know his dads story? How did he learn how to coach? Did Henrik just say one day dad I’d like to run?

@@pete5691 henrik was avtually really interested/talented in CX skiing, but because the main training enviroment was on the other side of the country he decided he maybe could take up running

you get it all wrong. jacob's secret is that he start very early to train seriously. he basicly run from 6 years old. his brothers train exacly like him and they never got near him in term of success.threshold running can get you PrePare to train 1500m training but it is not the key. the key of all training is to be sPecific and extance that sPecifity. as canova said many time before training is the reaction of the body to your workout if there no stimuli there is no training.jacob is the answer to all non african guys that must understand to devoloPe talent you have to start very early and to be serious about it. if he was under canova training he was breaking the world record already.

There are few genuine secrets in athletics and J.I. and his family have always been open.
J.I. has made no secret of essentially being a dedicated professional (I refer not to money) since infancy, even to the point of having daily routine treatment from a local physio. Remaining injury free is something which few athletes pay proper heed to! He does.
Next, his obscene gay boy shorts are worn not to nauseate spectators but rather (presumably) to squeeze parts not meant to be squeezed and thereby encourage rapid movement as a source of relief from the discomfort. (Recently seen training in loose conventional shorts). So he clearly plans every little (excuse me) part of his performance.
    Clearly a very clever man.
