Older Bobcat loader creep repair

This is just a crude video I made on how to repair creep on older 30 and 40 series (ie.630,743,etc.) Bobcat loaders. It may also apply to 50/60/70 series machines but I don't know for sure as I've never had to do this on one of them... I may try to make a better, more detailed video of this in the future but for now this will hve to do.

100% correct best video, no need to buy any parts. Between small amounts of ware and these bolts backing off on their own from vibration this is a repair you will have to get familiar with if you own one of these.

i bought longer bolts and put nuts on the back of them. between locking the nut and bolt together tightly and the threads inside the steering block, they should be tight till the machine dies for good.

Does the hydraulic fluid need to be brought up to operating temperature first? Its cold outside. My Allis tractor has a wet hand clutch and it creeps when its cold, then goes away. Wondered if cold oil has an effect on a Bobcat for creeping.

I watch your video I learned some from it thank you I have a 740 bobcat had a similar Problem but is making some buzzing noise I know that is not normal but could it be fixed?

I have a creeping 642b. When I'm going forward I need to constantly pull back on my right lever to keep her straight. Will this adjustment fix that as well? Total noob to these machines. Thank you for the video!

No, most likely your linkage needs adjustment, or your steering lever bushings could be worn out. This adjustment is mainly for setting the neutral.

Yes. I have a 743 that does circles when I don't hold the levers.
