Love, love, love your cooking shows. Keep it up please. I' m 80 and still love to cook and watch others cooking! Your so down to earth with your instructions. I can tell you must have been a wonderful teacher! Let that Melissa talk more. She's so good behind that camera. She knows how long to hold for all the close ups. Both of you keep up the great work!!
Is it me or in the video's he said "this is in are cook book, to fallow along turn to page ###" call me crazy but I get the flash backs of being in school.... I do not have the cook book yet but have hinted for it from a friend for my birthday... LOL... I do agree with you Judy that I love watching how down to earth the instructions are. A real home cooking kitchen rather then a show when he says one of his most well known lines "we payed for it so lets scrape it all out" or the line "I love condensed milk and could eat it out of the can." LOL
Wanted to let you both know that I made the Sweet Teriyaki meatballs today. I made the meatballs from scratch with 2 pounds of ground turkey, added to the meat an egg, breadcrumbs and one envelope of Lipton Golden Onion soup to the turkey meat. Cooked the meatballs at low temperature, there was no grease at all. Made the sauce just like you said BUT I added 1/4 of a cup of RedHot Sweet Chilli sauce for dipping. I also had half of a fresh pineapple so I cut it in small chunks, added 1/2 cup of the pineapple juice from the fresh pineapple. It was DELICIOUS. I also did the noodles Well, what can I say, THERE'S NO LEFT OVERS. My son saved 3 to cut them in half, added sauce to a hoagie bread. That sniky
I'm so glad you enjoyed them. And your son, too! Thank you for letting us know what you did. We really loved hearing from you and we appreciate that you are watching our channel.
I’m thrilled that you’re teaching your son to cook. My dad started teaching me to cook when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I think it’s extremely important for boys to learn to cook. Thank you for sharing that with me.
@tomwyant9297 My son is 4 years old and he loves to help me in the kitchen! He'll pull his little chair up to the stove or counter and help me with whatever I'll let him do!
Do ÿou think it would work to cut recipe into half? I live alone and I admit just watching made me hungry as my dinner will be pineapple chicken, no recipe but the preserves will become a staple in my pantry! Thank you for sharing the recipes!
My grandson use to push a chair up to the stove to help me cook when he was three this started. We are very italian and he loved to put the seasonings in the sauce. He is 19 now and is going to go to culanary school to become a chef. The food he cooks is so delicious. Im proud that love started in my kitchen.❤😊❤
I was getting ready to send you a comment about this recipe, when Tom mentioned that your daughters were “good eaters”. I’m still laughing. I hadn’t heard that expression in forever, especially in these days when the trend is to go for zero fat and sstringbean silhouette. The expression was endearing as are you two. Thanks for the recipe, the company, and the nostalgia. Love you two-and nice crock pot!
I also have a Westbend slow cooker and I’ve had it forever (I’m 73). I love that slow cooker and I have been concerned about it dying. That is so funny. I thought I was the only one that still had one. 😂. Ann from South Carolina.
These sound great. Love that slow cooker. Brought back some great memories when I saw it. The buttered egg noodles are a blast from the past as well. Mom would do those to give us something filling when money was tight. Pineapple preserves were a favorite of Dad's. Might have to grab a bottle of those the next time I'm in the store. So much great stuff in this video. Thank you!
My Dad's too! 😊 And now that I'm older, much older, and parents are gone, I especially enjoy most everything that they each enjoyed. A little part of what keeps them with me always ❤
@@cathyprosser1050Very true. Dad went home almost 10 years ago. Mom went home a month ago this Friday (02/15/24). That one is still a little more raw, but I take comfort that she's in the Lord's care now and reunited with Dad.
I stumbled onto your channel last week, and I love it!!! I am 78 years old and the fewer the ingredients, the better! So glad I found the two of you! Always looking for crock pot meals to be ready when we get home from church.
I have made these for years, but I made it for events, without noodles. People would pick them up with toothpicks. Still one of my favorites. I sometimes used grape jelly in place of marmalade
When I cook something the slow cooker, I use a paper towel rolled and dip into the grease. I have had success. Works well when there isn’t a lot of grease, or after I have dipped the excess grease out. Thankyou for this recipe.
Thank you Tom for this recipe! I keep several bags of those meatballs in my freezer at all times for times when I need an easy meal. This will be my new go to for Wednesday’s evening meal or Sunday lunch. My mom taught me how to make butter noodles when I was young, we didn’t always have much and they would help to fill me up. I made them for my boys especially when they weren’t feeling well and now they are grown & teenagers and make them regularly. My oldest son is in lineman school and makes butter noodles and steak bites (stew meat) while his friends make ramen. He will love this meatball recipe. ❤ Have a blessed day
You two cracked me up when you were tasting at the end. Lol! Thank you for sharing this recipe. Thank you Melissa for typing out the recipe. I know I'm just one of many that appreciate that. God bless from wyoming
Hi Tom and Melissa, I just have to to tell you both i love that you guys serve so many of your recipes with buttered noodles. When i mention this to people they always say,"Whats that?" There are so many people who dont eat or never have eaten buttered noodles. It always shocks me. We ate so many of our meals growing up with buttered noodles. And like you, I love them! This recipe looks so good i can't wait to try it. Thank you.❤😊
I love buttered noodles too! I usually brown the butter, but I wouldn't for this recipe. But brown buttered noodles are the bomb! I have heard many people say "what's that" about buttered noodles too I grew up on them!
@@indycarcindy6582 Thats so nice to hear there are people out there eating buttered noodles with their meals. Im going to try the browned butter it sounds delicious.😊
I am so glad you measure everything for us. I am not a cook that can guess at a recipe unless I have fixed it forever. And it drives me crazy that these you tube cooks will say 1 tablespoon of this or that and it looks like it’s two or 3 tablespoons when they throw it in. So thank you!
You are so sweet! We really appreciate your kind comment. It's very encouraging. We plan to continue our channel as long as we can, and we are grateful to have nice people willing to join us at the table. Hope you are having a nice day!
I have so many of the kitchen items you use in your videos.😂 I have the nut grinder that I got when my mom passed away. I remember I used it as a kid when I helped her in the kitchen. Those never wear out. I have that exact same Westbend slow cooker that my sister gave me for Christmas one year when I was about 20 years old (I’m 67). I can’t remember everything else, but it always makes me smile when you say “I don’t know how long we’ve had this”. I’m definitely going to make this meatball recipe in my Westbend slow cooker. 😊
I had to go back and look up the recipe for the Hawaiian Teriyaki meatballs. I am fixing them today there in the crock pot now. They really smell good and so glad you share these wonderful recipes. Thank you, Tom and Melissa.
I like watching the cooking but I also enjoy how articulate you speak and that a viewer can feel the love of the Lord through the video straight to their heart. Keep it up. It’s a real blessing.
OMG! I had the Westbend slow cooker so, so long ago and loved it. I still have the lid which doubles as a baking dish. I wish I they still made them. Thank you for having plans for the rest of the teriyaki sauce so when I make this I’ll have a recipe to use the remainder. Love all of your videos. Sending blessings from Central Florida.
Ive got that exact slow cooker. It belonged to my Mama who has been gone since 2002. She carried it to church many times with something delicious in it. I use it often and it brings back great memories of my Mama.
Our son is coming over for supper and a movie tonight, so guess what's for dinner? Your right, your recipe and I'm excited to try this. Love your channel and thanks to Melissa for putting the recipe in the description box. 😋edit: it was a big hit! My husband & son went back for second helpings. It was so easy to put together.
You have no idea how your message has touched our hearts. Knowing that we might have some small role in helping you teach your daughter to cook, makes every bit of the work and effort we put into our videos worth it. Thank you so much for sharing that with us.
Hi Tom and Melissa, I enjoy these meatballs and noodles.. For one they are so easy and so, so delicious..Only thing I do different is I make my own meatballs and freeze them.. When I find ground beef at a reasonable price I buy in bulk and make several trays of meatballs to freeze…Ya’ll stay safe and don’t forget to “Put A Lid On It “…
Tim I have a West Bend crockpot similar to yours. I think mine is taller. I keep mine in our motorhome and have had it for years too. It is light weight, which is needed in a motorhome, and works well for cooking. I am looking forward to trying this recipe. I enjoy anything with pineapple. Thanks to you and Melissa for taking the time to share your wonderful recipes with your followers.
Love your channel! I really appreciate the way you present your recipes: so clear and concise with information and tips. Love that they aren’t ten pages long and require 20 spices that I have never heard of…..and they are soooo good! You and your wife do an excellent job! Thank you!
Oh my goodness that looks so delicious, I will be making this over the weekend. In 1984 my mom bought the same slow cooker from HSN and loved if so much she bought 3 more and gave them to me and my 2 sisters as gifts. Mine died about 6yrs ago after serving my family very well. Thank you for everything you both bring to your table and sharing with us.
I made these for dinner a few nights ago and they were quite good. But they are even better the next day and the day after that the longer they sit the more tasty they become. This is definitely going in my permanent recipe file. Thank you for another delicious recipe.
I had that same slow cooker and gave it away to someone who didn't care that it cooked hot. It definitely didn't fall into a slow cooker category. Love this recipe. Can't wait to try. My granddaughters will love it. Thank you for sharing. This would be delicious served as an hors d’oeuvre (minus the noodles) with toothpicks for pick up.
This sounds so good! Kroger frozen homestyle meatballs are very good too! Thank you for another easy recipe for me to try. I'll probably add a diced bell pepper and serve it with a tossed salad.
Just used this but on a much larger scale for the homeless . I had tons of help from maney churches. We are now going to do this again and will be for all the churches in our area for a fellowship dinner Thanks Tom
I have a similar recipe which I take the liberty of adding steamed broccoli florets and a can of baby corn just before serving over rice. So delicious!
@DeenDonna I steam fresh broccoli separately to tender crisp then stir that and the drained corn into the finished meatballs. That's my preference because I don't like overcooked veggies. I serve directly over rice.
We are so happy to have you watching our channel. We try to present a recipe that everyone can follow, and we hope, enjoy too! God has truly blessed us with our channel so far and we are grateful.
Hi Tom & Melissa, I made this meatball recipe and it was delicious, thank you❣️I could not find here in Canada the pineapple so I used marmelade instead tasted wonderful, so there Ya Go…😎 made it My own lol! Take Care You two, bye for now Diana from 🇨🇦 0:15
Oh my goodness. I have that same electric cooker that I have had since about 1968'70. The first thing I cooked in it was a Petit Jean Picnic Ham. Love your show.
You are a great teacher!!! I appreciate the way you explain every recipe with details, It certainly helps me 😊 Love you both!! God bless you in Jesus name 🤍🙏🏻
Hello Tom and Melissa! What a wonderful recipe you shared with us. We are having another game night and I will make this for the group. I appreciate you measuring to teach everyone. You both are very special to us. 🥰🥰😋😋
I’m just curious: is there any reason why you didn’t toss the meatballs in the sauce in the bowl you just mixed it together in before pouring it all into the crockpot? ☺️. Looks good.
It has been at least 20 years since I bought a cookbook, but I have ordered yours as soon as I learned you have one! You could subtitle your channel, “ scraping the bowl “. Haha. Love it‼️
Oh my goodness! Tom and Melissa, I cannot wait to make this easy recipe. For showing me and many others the correct way to do things. It looks delicious. Just wanted to let you know I made the Amish bread ☺️👍 It was the best bread I have ever practice making because I don't know how to make bread. It was 100% thumbs up. And I shared a video saying that I watched your video hoping others will watch it.❤ Thank you so much! If I knew how to send a picture to you of the bread I still have it on my phone. I would but I'm not text savvy 🤷😔🩵🩷☺️👍☘️
This looks so good, going to make this dish too with buttered egg noodles. This would be good over rice as well. Like your Kentucky shirt. Kathy and I are big U.K. Fans and Reed Sheppard has had a great year, so talented. Thanks Tom & Melissa for sharing.
I like the idea of this recipe on Sunday, it's a challenge to come up with something when everyone is hungry after church! Will be making this probably before Sunday actually, it looks really good. I too have one of these West Bend slow cookers. It's my favorite. The base it sits on is actually a griddle! Cooks great sausage, bacon, burgers, grilled chicken tenders, eggs, etc. Thanks for sharing.
I have never been to an event or holiday in the South that didnt serve these meatballs. No one ever tires of them. One twist though- Ive never had them with pineapple preserves. Onlygrape jelly. Thanks for sharing!
😮 that looks so delicious. I think I’ll try some next Sunday. That’ll be a treat for us. Take care and God bless and keep doing these wonderful cooking shows. I surely enjoy them aloha and God bless.
I had a pot just like that I had it for years and years ,the cord finally quit working and I never could find another one so I got rid of it I loved it ❤❤

I had pot like yours ffor years it broke I found another one at Walmart they are not that easy to find but expensive $63.00. But was worth it. Love it . The oblong style is what I love.. you are right though they run hot! Love your videos !
I am always looking for meals that would work well as a left over for lunch the next and this meatball recipe looks like it would work well as a leftover. Looks yummy. Thank you.
I'm watching from Marshville N.C. The home of Randy Travis The country singer. I love your videos especially the way you have ingredients already prepared. I hate when they have to run around looking for things. I hardly ever watch the other ones anymore. Thank you for that.
Hi Tom and Melissa!! I really want to share with you both that I successfully prepared this recipe a few days ago and WOW, was it ever great!! We've already had two meals with it, and my wife Judy froze two 15-count bags of meatballs for future dinners. We are so happy to have discovered you both here at Come Sit At My Table. Next up for us is barbequed Baby Back Ribs tomorrow in the oven. Can't wait for the green flag to drop on this race to the finish line. We absolutely love your presentations! Be safe!
We are so glad to have you at the table with us! It's wonderful to hear that you've enjoyed the meatballs and we are guessing that you have by now had the green flag to drop on the ribs! Hope they were just as satisfying to you and Judy. Thank you so much for letting us know you're trying some of our recipes. We love getting comments like yours!

Fresh ginger might be good in this. I love to make homemade meatballs. I'll just freeze them.

I had slow cooker just like that long ago. Got it with green stamps. Good memories!!! The meat ball looked so good. I see this meal in my future!!!
This sounds so good! Kroger frozen homestyle meatballs are very good too! Thank you for another easy recipe for me to try. I'll probably add a diced bell pepper and serve it with a tossed salad.
I love Teriyaki anything, this will be good !! I will be making these, and my grandson will love it too.
I’m a lazy cook these days ,this recipe is for my lazy day in the kitchen. Thank you for making my lazy day great Tom & Melissa ❤
Love that Westbend cooker. Got one for a wedding present 50+ years ago and used it till I got a new one
I love watching you guys together on your cooking videos. You two are so cute.
Just used this but on a much larger scale for the homeless . I had tons of help from maney churches. We are now going to do this again and will be for all the churches in our area for a fellowship dinner Thanks Tom
I absolutely love the vintage slow cooker!! ❤❤❤❤
I have a similar recipe which I take the liberty of adding steamed broccoli florets and a can of baby corn just before serving over rice. So delicious!
That’s what I’m planning on serving them over. How do you incorporate the corn and broccoli, sides?
@DeenDonna I steam fresh broccoli separately to tender crisp then stir that and the drained corn into the finished meatballs. That's my preference because I don't like overcooked veggies. I serve directly over rice.
@@Susan-cooks sounds perfect!
Can't wait to make this!! I love your simplicity and ease of life. I love that you go to church. Thank you for sharing.
Take Care You two, bye for now Diana from 🇨🇦 0:15
I’m a Canadian in the USA I this the pineapple spread and marmalade are the same
My family loves meatballs with mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Another hit for Tom and Melissa. Thanks so much
You teach us that we can eat WELL at any age...
Oh my goodness. I have that same electric cooker that I have had since about 1968'70. The first thing I cooked in it was a Petit Jean Picnic Ham. Love your show.
I made these tonight and my family LOVED them!! Thank you!!
The meatballs look so tasty! Thanks for sharing the recipe!!! 😊
You are a great teacher!!! I appreciate the way you explain every recipe with details, It certainly helps me 😊
Love you both!! God bless you in Jesus name 🤍🙏🏻
I recently discovered your lovely show and recipes. I'm headed toward 80 and it's wonderful that you show me how to make new meals. Thank you
Thank you so much for this recipe! Your videos are very relaxing to view and super inspiring! We always look forward to the next one….
How kind of you. It's so refreshing and encouraging to receive a comment like this!
Oh this looks so good! Love those crock pot/slow cooker meals.
The convenience they offer makes them a big favorite for us, too. Have a great night! We appreciate that you are at the table with us.
Hello Tom and Melissa! What a wonderful recipe you shared with us. We are having another game night and I will make this for the group. I appreciate you measuring to teach everyone. You both are very special to us. 🥰🥰😋😋
This is a great idea. So easy. ❤
Those meatball look yummy, I may just have to try it, but honestly the buttered noodles are such a delicious treat in themselves ❤
I’m happy to have a new crockpot recipe. And a Sunday dish. Thank you. Looks yummy
I know my boys and husband would love these.
Looks great makes me hungry ❤❤
I’m just curious: is there any reason why you didn’t toss the meatballs in the sauce in the bowl you just mixed it together in before pouring it all into the crockpot? ☺️. Looks good.
I know😂. Would have made sense…coat them & dump in…no mess, no fuss 🥹
I was thinking the same thing.
It has been at least 20 years since I bought a cookbook, but I have ordered yours as soon as I learned you have one! You could subtitle your channel, “ scraping the bowl “. Haha. Love it‼️
It is inspiring to have someone tell the truth on the internet. Thank you for sharing.
We have the same slow cooker. And I never refused a meal when I was growing up. Meatballs look great.
That looks positively yummy. I think I will make that for a church event we have coming up this Sunday.
Oh my goodness! That looks absolutely delicious. Next on my grocery list. Have a wonderful, blessed day
I have never been to an event or holiday in the South that didnt serve these meatballs.
I had a pot just like that I had it for years and years ,the cord finally quit working and I never could find another one so I got rid of it I loved it ❤❤
Look great, can you make your own meatballs and freeze them? I’m not a fan of bagged meatballs.
My thoughts exactly. I don't see why you couldn't make your own meatballs; I will.
This looked good!😊
I have t😅same slow cooker! I use it all the time. Lol Definitely hard to find them now. Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one who still uses it. Love your cooking style. Ty❤
I as a viewer truly appropriate you both. For the variety of recipes, the easy to follow instructions. May you always have light, love and sunshine in your lives. God bless .
I never buy frozen meatballs but for this recipe ill buy them. Great recipe.
I have never bought them either but if Tom and Melissa use them and like them, I might just try them myself 😊
I made these a few weeks ago and am making them again on Wednesday to take to a church pot luck. Thank you both for a fun show and great recipes.
Try using a bowl without those ridges. It would easier to clean out the bowl using a rubber spatula instead of metal spoon. Love your show😉
I had pot like yours ffor years it broke I found another one at Walmart they are not that easy to find but expensive $63.00. But was worth it. Love it . The oblong style is what I love.. you are right though they run hot! Love your videos !
I like how you teach cooking steps.
I am always looking for meals that would work well as a left over for lunch the next and this meatball recipe looks like it would work well as a leftover. Looks yummy. Thank you.
It definitely would. In fact, we ate from it more than one time. We hope you enjoy it like we do. Thank you so much for watching.
We appreciate how you teach your videos. This looks scrumptious and I will try this. Thank you
From Orangeburg SC
You are so welcome. We really do appreciate that you are at the table with us. It's great hearing from you.
Thank you for your love of cooking and your videos. Please share what your message from church was today.
This would make a delicious appetizer! One more ingredient.... toothpicks for grabbing and no noodles!
Thanks, Tom and Melissa! 😊
Looks very delightful yum I love noodles❤
Mmmm….this looks amazing….I am definitely trying this one😋😋
