I just want to say thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos. I am extremely nervous about my surgery and you have eased my mind a bit!

@@lindseygibbons3579 I’m so glad the videos have helped you! I promise you won’t regret it! PMS is a thing of the past for me. I no longer have fluctuating hormones or mood swings. I currently weigh 6 pounds less than I did when I had my surgery more than 2 years ago. My life isn’t dictated by my period anymore. My more bloating or gaining weight from monthly cravings. I no longer deal with anemia from heavy bleeding. I don’t have to suffer through ovarian cysts anymore. Having a total hysterectomy was the best decision I have ever made for my health. The surgery and recovery put life on hold for a while. But just be patient. It will pass. I never even think about my surgery or recovery anymore. I’m just enjoying my new life and I think you will enjoy your new life too! I’m excited for you! I’m here if you have any questions or need support 😊

I had my surgery 3 days ago and I was planning for a way worse experience than it was. My pain is at bay. I have 6 incisions and those are starting to feel sore and like a bruise. The gas pain was the worse for me. It went away today.

I’m so glad you have had such a good experience! Yes, the gas pain was no fun! You’re on the other side now though. The surgery is done and you can just focus on recovery and then enjoying your new life! I’m very happy and excited for you!

Me again sorry lol… did you find it hard to raise your arms after your surgery, like to wash your hair for the first time after surgery?

I definitely had some shoulder pain for a bit after my surgery. It wasn’t so bad that I couldn’t still do things, but yes, there was some pain when I did things like wash my hair. It does go away though. It went away more and more day by day. And by 2 weeks post-op, there was no pain at all.
