I'm post-op 6 days, today. I'm shocked at how well I've done. Like, shocked. I had a laparoscopic robot-assisted vaginal total hysterectomy, leaving my ovaries in. (I'm 42 y/o). I have 4 incisions. They are healing very well. I've been up and walking every day. Good luck, ladies!
YAAYYY!!! I am so happy to hear that you are on the other side of things and that you are doing so well! Keep taking it easy though because you are going to want to get up and start doing all the things before your body is ready. Sending you big hugs and lots of love!
Hello everyone. I had my surgery on July 5th and everything went great. I had to spend one night in the hospital and it was the best sleep I’ve had in three years. My recovery at home has been going great EXCEPT for when I overdue it. I’ve been cooking, washing dishes and a few other things that I probably shouldn’t do. I’m a bit stubborn with major OCD so me sitting still is a challenge. I have no regrets about this surgery. I am 5 days post op. Best advice, listen to your body and chill out when your body tells you, your overdoing it. Stay blessed everyone
Hope your feeling better just got my hysterectomy on July 19 a little sore especially when I'm moving too much. Lol I can relate to that! But I'm taking it easy just ready to be pain free but I know it takes time🥰

Hi there, I am from Poland. 6 day after hysterectomy. In my opinion your story about the recovery is the best one. And trust me I've watched all of them on YT. Thank you. It is an amazing description of the whole process. ❤
Awwwww!! WOW!! Thank you so much Paulina! I appreciate your comment and your time in watching my videos! It means so much and I am so happy they were helpful! I am actually planning on doing an update in December since I am now 2 years post op and how things are going now. Hugs sweet friend! xo
I know this video was done a couple years ago, but I’m so glad I found it. I’m considering a laparoscopic hysterectomy and I’m nervous, but I have too many fibroids to count and I’ve been in such pain and my menstrual is so heavy that I often feel lightheaded, I’m anemic due to this, so I’m truly may go through with this! I’m glad you recovered and I hope you’re well!!! ❤
@@bhavnaphulwani2591 hey there, I’m just seeing this. Yes, I’m officially a week post op! After seeing my MRI and seeing what came out of me, it was truly the best decision I could make. Don’t fall victim to all of the horror stories like I did. Surgery was successful, no complications. Healing is well… healing. First couple of days were rough, but after it gets a little easier day by day.
@@minimalistyo8464 hey, read my other comment! You will be ok! Go into it positive, remember why you’re getting it done. There’s light on the other side.
I don't understand why anyone would have any issue with your choice. While the ovaries do have a job and I know I wish I could have kept mine, once a woman us done with having children, or having made a definitive choice to not have children, the uterus doesn't have much purpose. It can just cause discomfort with menstruation issues and hang out, possibly being a risk for uterine cancer. If that can be avoided and quality of life improved, that is just benefit with no negative at all.
It's actually a pretty mysogibistic way of thinking , Like women have to be like men ,only women have the menstrual cycle ,men don't . And in order to live in this patriarcal world women have to be like men .... Luckily most women don't feel like you , luckily there are women who are proud of being intact adult human females .
It's actually the fear that we have. You hear around after hysterectomy , hormones change and you get old too soon and may get orthorities and so and so. I got mine done last month and I'm making myself confident that nothing changed.
Lisa, thank you SO much for posting your pre and post op experiences. I had a total hysterectomy two days ago, but my uterus was large, so I had an abdominal removal. No one on my medical team had mentioned belly bands, grabber sticks, or the various sundries that you had recommended. After watching your videos, I felt much more prepared. Your positive outlook and sense of humor also gave me a much different perspective on recovery. I am glad that you are doing well. I am too! Thank you again. 🤩
I am so happy these videos helped you!! I am so glad you are recovering well!! I hope you are continuing to do well and are getting stronger every day! Xoxo
LISA I HAD A TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY DUE TO FIBROID TUMORS ON MAY TENTH OF 2005 IT WAS THE BEST DECISION FOR ME I NEVER PLANNED ON HAVING CHILDREN AND AM SINGLE
Hello 👋 I just had my surgery yesterday the same exact one you had and your videos are helping me a lot on all this things I'm going through. Thank you for all this helpful videos.
Hey, Lisa! I just wante to say thanks for sharing this. I know it's 3 years old - but I'm heading in for my initial appointment for a radical hysterectomy for endometrial hyperplasia and your series has helped me a lot to prepare my brain for what's about to happen. I watched it as soon as I got my diagnosis (no cancer at biopsy, but being extra cautious and doing a frozen section during surgery just in case they have to pull lymph nodes so that I don't have the surgery twice) a few weeks ago, and watching through again as we're finally in our "boottheute" stage with the initial appointment, and it's helping relieve a little of the anxiety. I know everyone's experience is different, and I may not have your experience, but it's been weirdly comforting. Thanks, again, for sharing your experience.
Thank you so much for making this video. My friend is having this next week and we had no sense that she would be able to even sit up and talk this much at 4DPO. We've been planning for her to, at most, be able to get herself to the bathroom with a walker but mostly be in bed and to need 24 hour a day care for at least 2 weeks so it's amazing to see that you did so well. Now going to watch the other videos because it looks like the current plan of her being mostly on the couch for 8-12 weeks may be too conservative. She is a lot older than you so we don’t expect she will ever be able to get back to where she was before the surgery in terms of strength and stamina but this is making me think that she may be able to recover a little better than we thought, so thank you so much!
I’m doing all of my research on hysterectomy I’m so glad I found your channel! I’m 48 years old and have heavy bleeding nonstop, nothing has worked for me
Iam scheduled to have surgery at the end of this month and was so apprehensive about it but you’re videos are answering all my questions and so supportive and positive Thankyou
Lisa, I know this video is older but since I watch your channel this popped up on my home page lol Bless your heart for sharing your experience . Thanks 😃
I am so glad to have found your channel! I am day 4 of post op full hysterectomy. So far I am still resting on my couch and moving around off and on. Hoping each day gets better and better! Thank-you for giving your experience!
I’m on day 6 of my total laparoscopic hysterectomy, my abdomen is bruised and so sore!! I’m walking ok, but slow, standing up feels like I’m being stretched 🙁
That’s exactly how I am feeling. I feel like my insides may fall out. The gas pain has been crazy too. I was totally not prepared for this surgery which is showing in my recovery.
Did anyone have trouble going number two? I’m two post op and I’m like, where is my bowel movement 😫 kinda concerned but don’t know when to call. I am walking and taking all the meds they have given me.
Just wanted to reach out and let you know how informative this has all been. Also so glad you're recovery is progressing so well. Happy to know you are already realizing how much less pain you are in post op, compared to your daily life the last few years. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Love ya!
What a great video! Thanks for sharing your experience. Recently did the same exact procedure. I had 5 cuts on my abdomen, that’s good you got away with 3 lol. And I definitely agree. It’s surprising how good you feel after surgery. But good advice (for you and me), rest even if you feel good. Love your personality!
Hello Lisa and Sean, God bless you both with the surgery. I'm so happy you got the support. Lisa even though you may feel great don't do anything. I mean it let John help you out as much as you possibly can. Is taking the time off work to help you let him help you. You won't regret it it's just a short time. So happy your surgery went so well for you. It may seem a long time to you but it really isn't. I wish you all the best. Sincerely Diane Thomas
Hello, enjoyed watching your. Video. I am schedule for a hysterectomy October 27, each time I would put if off because I would stop. Bleeding, my mind is made up . For over 10 years I didn’t have a cycle and after I turned 60 here she comes. TFS.
I absolutely love your personality. This series has been so helpful for me. My journey begins in a few months and I respect your decision. I also have chosen to have a hysterectomy. I have to have a bikini cut. My fibroid is huge.
You’re lucky that you only had 3 incisions, I have 5. Also, what you said about feeling better post-surgery than you did before is exactly how I feel!!
I have my procedure next month. Total hysterectomy robotic assist at 45. Many of the same reasons and trying to take in all the information I can find to be as prepared as I can. I went back to your first 2 videos as well. Thank you so much for sharing your journey
I hope the videos have been helpful! Of course each persons journey is different, I am sending you ALL the good vibes for your surgery! Before you know it you will be on the other side of it and feeling sooooo much better than you could have ever imagined! Sending you big hugs!
My Day 6 after surgery. Your videos helped me out, I’m feeling good other than those weird pressures moments on both sides of my stomach. I get them and basically it’s telling me go to the bathroom lol… and those colace pill’s are a must! Ty 😊
I had my surgery 5 days ago and I'm still in pain! I had the same procedure as you. I've been sleeping on my back because it's uncomfortable to sleep on my side. I'm hoping that with time, I'll be able to go back to normal!
Glad recovery is still going well for you, and that you are experiencing less pain! Magnesium can also help with movement. I take 200 mg before bed for better rest, so two birds one stone.
Hello.. today, I am 5 days post open from a robotic laprasopic hysterectomy, removed my uterus, fallopian tunes, cleaned up previous scar tissue from past c section, this video resonates the best on how my healing process has gone so far, I am amazed how well it has gone yes gas pains are real WALKING is what helped that sleeping on my back I found difficult but finally getting more comfortable with that also wanting to do more because I am a goer has been tough but so far so worth the process 😊 I also had a bad period going into surgery what a way to go into this 😅 belly binder helps with feeling a bit more stable in the core.
Hello. How are you feeling ayer 15 days . I have my surgery programmed for the 31 of May. But I have to travel by plane to Rome. What do you think? It is possible .
The mesh panties are the real deal. Two babies myself and both times I left with the ice undies and the sitz bath, best presents ever. Glad you're feeling better!
I'm 30 years old, day 1 at home, laprascopic total hysterectomy. Kept my ovaries. The gas pains are real, I do feel better walking around or sitting on the toilet funny enough 😂. I've been on tylenol/motrin, no opiods. Very uncomfortable but getting thru it. Love the follow up videos you've done ❤
Great video my friend, so happy your getting along so well post surgery!!! Things have come such a long way...I had same surgery in 1996, have an 8 inch scar on my belly and was in the hospital for 4 days! :/
Just found your videos, thank you! I’m having surgery in a few weeks, and I and my gf are having the same discussion about which vehicle, her car is super low, and my truck is lifted lol!
Just in CASE we miss the weekend vlogs??? You have to ask? Hahaha! Seriously, SO GLAD to see how great you're doing! You are amazing!! 💗 And another shout out to Shawn for being such a great caregiver!
I had a D&C at a surgery center instead of a hospital and the biggest difference they explained to me is that they don’t have blood on site so if I needed a transfusion, I would urgently be taken to the closest hospital. That was fine for the D&C but my hysterectomy will be done on the main hospital campus because the surgery is being done robotically and it’s only available to the 42 operating rooms on the 1st floor of the main hospital. I just want to get it done so I can focus on recovering!
@@shalinilata6670 I know exactly how that feels due to same blood loss situation. Mine happen 6 days ago and I didn't get to have a baby. So that's the source of my depression. I do hope as time passes we will grow past this feeling and become stronger.
Good afternoon. This for whatever strange reason came up on my feed. Today is November 3rd 2022. I had my surgery (total hysterectomy) on Monday October 31st (yes Halloween day) I am 4 days post-op. I am a mother of 2 adult children. My daughter (a health care professional she's an NP (nurse practioner) she's 37 and I have a 31 year old son (he's a TV camera man in Philadelphia and he's married) I'm experiencing the same discomfort, and lower back pain 🤔 not certain why. I too am resting. I work a very physical role at work. So I will be taking those 6 to 8 weeks. I haven't left the house, cooked dinner last night had delicious soup!🤤 God bless you on your recovery.
Sending you all the love and prayers and healing vibes your way sweet friend! Listen to your body and take it EASY! Let your family help and take good care of you!! xoxoxo
@@LisaRowberry thank you dear. Possibly, by my children's ages, you can tell that I'm a mature woman. I turned 57 on April 25th and wasn't diagnosed until September. A regular pap-smear showed the abnormality. We have to tell our sisters to get those pap-smears.🙏🏽
Never fails, everytime I have gone in for surgery I have also had my period. I'm the same way, had to make sure every nurse and doctor knew and they also looked at me like "it's ok, happens all the time". 🤣
I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy total (ovaries intact) 5 days ago. I feel stiff and weak and a little bit uncomfortable but I’m hoping for better days
Hi, thanks for sharing your journey. I’m glad your recovering well!! 🥰 I’m post op day 3. Question, did you ever get front ribcage pain so bad you can’t take a deep breathe. My ribs are extremely sore. None of my pain meds are giving me relief. My lower stomach feels fine. When I try and fall asleep my body jumps and I wake up. I have both my ovaries but woke up drenched is sweat! I hope this gas pain goes away soon. If it wasn’t for that I’d be fine!
Thank you for sharing all of this information. I am 36 and I have 2 kids who are 13 and 10. I have had many problems with my periods since I was a young teen. (As well as 2 lost pregnancies) I was diagnosed with adenomyosis when my son (10) was about 4-5. I was on birth control for hormone and period problems since I was a teenager. 2 1/2 years ago I had to have an emergency D&C after a non-viable pregnancy and I was diagnosed with epilepsy (my brother has epilepsy as well) so I had to stop taking birth control because it would make my seizure medication not work. This was about 7-8 months ago. When I stopped it, my adenomyosis has gotten so bad. The pain, my periods have gotten worse, my bleeding is worse or not bleeding when I should etc. I am considering getting a partial hysterectomy to fix the adenomyosis, as well as prevent pregnancy as well because I cannot take my medication during pregnancy, and also another pregnancy could be dangerous. I have been scared of getting surgery, but after hearing your recovery information I am much less nervous and ready to have better quality of life. Thank you again, this has really helped me.
This is great information, thank you! My surgery is in 6 weeks, and I am so glad you posted this. So you felt good enough to go out and do things on Days 4-6? I was looking at my calendar, and realized it'll be during sports seasons for my boys and I DONT want to miss their games. LOL
Im so happy recovery is going so well for you! There are a lot of women that go through the same thing as you have...and the more people I talk to the more I find out, how many start medapause early too...I started hot flashing when i way 32-35 years old and found out from my OBGYN that yes its rare but not unheard of. So I'm on meds to control the hot flashes and another med to stop my monthly periods. Moral of my short story...we need to talk about it more, we are stronger in numbers! Keep up the great progress and Happy New Year to you and Shawn! see you in the next video!
Hi, can across your video as I'm removing from a total hysterectomy as well. I've started my 4th week post op. I was able to have Vnotes which is all done vaginally and recovery went well for me too. Glad all went well with your recovery
Glad you're doing relatively well, thank you for letting us know, been thinking about you. I had a lapoorscopic tubal ligation when I was 35, and abdominal hernia surgery a few years later (which I did too much, and it re-tore, so have been living with it for years, which is depressing) but still have no support, I do NOT want to re-do), with no help or support, and it was ROUGH - I slept on the the couch after the hernia surgery just so I'd have something to grab on to to change positions, or get up - which took like 5 minutes - SO painful!! So glad you guys have each other, for physical, and emotional support - you are SUCH a team, and it' wonderful to see, and hear. Your Doc also sounds wonderful, approachable, and right on top of things - that's awesome, and DEFINITELY helps recovery, for sure! I used Palmer's Coca Butter on several surgery incisions and other scars over the years (AFTER medical clearance, of course!) and it really helped ease the pain, itching, and helped fade the scars. Please continue to listen your body, and do as well as you have been. You are thought of, and cared about, even by those of us who have never met you. Never doubt that! Socially distanced hugs from New Jersey. I was bleeding VERY heavily several times when I had to have D&C's for same, or even the uterine ablation, and I will agree - it does feel VERY weird (and for me - almost shameful - but I KNOW that's ME, and I'm weird!), and they made me take off my own pads I wore, and use ones they gave me (to be more sterile, I was told), but hat was weird, because they had to adhesive, or wings - just kin of "sat there". But the nurses were VERY comforting, and made me feel better about "the mess" of it all. Guess they truly HAVE seen worse! Shawn's chicken casserole looked SCRUMPTIOUS, just like everything he cooks!! He truly is a keeper!!
im having partial hysto. only removing uterus and tubes. i cant wait. im also ftm trans so this surgery is long overdue. im opting for partial just cause its a faster recovery time and am low risk of cervical cancer. but no more uterus is gonna be great. dont know how my post op pain will be like but heres hoping its easier than my top surgery

Be kind to yourself! As women we need to encourage each other to take the time needed for recovery. Smooth move tea is the best, I found yoga pants and shorts to help me feel secure in my belly area, seemed to hold everything in place. Rest when you feel you need to then rest some more! Walking is the best to help get everything moving some gentle stretches help too, there's lots of great TH-cam videos on that. Take care!
Hello I'm day 4 post op from hysterectomy your video is great. It has been a journey for me since surgery on the 28th I'm getting through it with lots of boring laying around lol but the boring laying around is so worth it. I had my fibroid for 3 years now and it's been hell been trying to have my surgery for the last 3 years but insurance just finally excepted my insurance. I did also feel like this was the life I was going have to live but the second I was approved for surgery I finally felt some relief. I can't wait to get my old life back and see what kinda journey I now can take without having to worry am I going to bleed do I have to ware a tampon do I have to ware a pad just incase I bleed ;)

I followed your recovery I think was for the first month? LOL I had my laparoscopic hysterectomy on November 15th. The first day was rough lol now I'm on day 6 of recovery maybe day 5 LOL and I'm starting to have stabbing pains where I think my cuff is but it feels almost like the surface of the skin? And the inside? Is this normal? I have four incisions which are healing very well.
Thank you so much for being so open and thorough about your experience! I have a hysterectomy coming up in late October, im really hoping my surgery date will be on Halloween cuz who doesn't wanna get organs out for Halloween?!?🎃🎃🎃. Im UBER excited for this surgery. Since menarche, my periods have been extremely debilitating and my pelvic pain has only gotten worse over time, I've honestly wanted a hysterectomy for as long as ive known what a hysterectomy was. I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids in May, i knew i'd need a myomectomy at the very least, but it never even crossed mind to inquire about a hysterectomy because i just didn't think they'd do it given my age. When i went to my pre-op appointment last week and the doctor recommended that i get a hysterectomy, i lit up. Just the thought of getting this abusive womb of mine out of my body puts a whole new pep in my step. Im so looking forward to this transition!

Thank you for your videos, I’m due to have this procedure on the 14 October, im not gonna lie, I’m shit scared 😟 and nervous, I’ve had my children I’m well past child baring days. My son will be 16 in a few months. I had painful excruciating pain during my periods pain that the 6 months wouldn’t subside 😢 found I have fibroids, endo and pcos… in my opinion the uterus is a baby factory, and if you have had your kids or don’t want kids why go through the constant pain every month??? I don’t understand.. another question I have, what is your mental state like? What’s the bleeding like and when does it slow down? And when can you have s$x ? Lol I don’t think you’ve talked about that it might be a TMI thing but just curious.. I’m having abdominal hysterectomy leaving ovaries in. I had a tummy tuck 2 years back so laparoscopic is a no go, and I have a bulky uterus due to the fibroids one being bigger than a tennis ball. So they will cut me along my incision when I had 2 c sections and tummy tuck.. has anyone had this experience after tummy tuck?
I’m really watching these videos because I might’ve said this before but this is something I am strongly considering. I just have to figure out if it is going to be easier to stay at my house or probably stay at my parents house and just stay in their downstairs area. Because they live about 30 minutes away from me. I know that I’m going to do it in the summertime though that way my kids will be out of school and my job as a massage therapist tends to slow down at that time.
Yes girl! If your parents will be the ones helping you then I would suggest staying with them! You won’t be bedridden or anything but having the help is so necessary. It will make your recovery so much smoother than if you didn’t have the help. I’m here if you have any questions at all! Already this has been the best decision of my life though!
I’m at day 6, but I’m an almost 70. I stayed one night. No pain to speak of. Thanks for your videos.

Hello 👋 I just had my surgery yesterday the same exact one you had and your videos are helping me a lot on all this things I'm going through. Thank you for all this helpful videos.
How are you feeling a month out?
I’m doing all of my research on hysterectomy
I’m so glad I found your channel! I’m 48 years old and have heavy bleeding nonstop, nothing has worked for me
Iam scheduled to have surgery at the end of this month and was so apprehensive about it but you’re videos are answering all my questions and so supportive and positive Thankyou
I had my surgery on 1/30/23 no regrets at all..great video
Was it robotic assist?
Just wanted to reach out and let you know how informative this has all been. Also so glad you're recovery is progressing so well. Happy to know you are already realizing how much less pain you are in post op, compared to your daily life the last few years. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Love ya!
Love love love you!!!!! 😘😘😘
@@LisaRowberry 🥰
What a great video! Thanks for sharing your experience. Recently did the same exact procedure. I had 5 cuts on my abdomen, that’s good you got away with 3 lol. And I definitely agree. It’s surprising how good you feel after surgery. But good advice (for you and me), rest even if you feel good. Love your personality!
The belly binder is like a thunder shirt for people. LOL Glad you're doing so well, Lisa!
What brand of belly binder do you have?
I don't have one. Perhaps tag Lisa. @@divalarue
Thank you for your information, my surgery is next Tuesday, I'm nervous but your videos have definitely helped a lot
So glad you are doing ok. I know several women whose lives were greatly improved by this procedure!❤️
Agreed about the magnesium!
Hello.. today, I am 5 days post open from a robotic laprasopic hysterectomy, removed my uterus, fallopian tunes, cleaned up previous scar tissue from past c section, this video resonates the best on how my healing process has gone so far, I am amazed how well it has gone yes gas pains are real WALKING is what helped that sleeping on my back I found difficult but finally getting more comfortable with that also wanting to do more because I am a goer has been tough but so far so worth the process 😊 I also had a bad period going into surgery what a way to go into this 😅 belly binder helps with feeling a bit more stable in the core.
I have my surgery on the 18th, this was so helpful! Thank you!!!!!!
Hello. How are you feeling ayer 15 days . I have my surgery programmed for the 31 of May. But I have to travel by plane to Rome. What do you think? It is possible .
Had mine on the 16th? How are u? I’m up and down. I stopped taking all pain meds.
The mesh panties are the real deal. Two babies myself and both times I left with the ice undies and the sitz bath, best presents ever. Glad you're feeling better!
This is common now to have a hysterectomy. Its amazing and I'm glad I had mine done. :)
So glad your recovery is going well and you’re feeling so much better pain-wise! I’m so happy for you!! I hope you all have a very happy new year 😊
Great video my friend, so happy your getting along so well post surgery!!!
I got an upper respiratory infection following surgery. I think that's what killing my progress. Day 6 post op. Progressing slowly 😢
I’m so glad your on the road to recovery! I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago and that was the best thing I did also. 😉
I had my hysectomy 6 months ago due to loss of blood during c section.still under depression
@@shalinilata6670 I know exactly how that feels due to same blood loss situation. Mine happen 6 days ago and I didn't get to have a baby. So that's the source of my depression. I do hope as time passes we will grow past this feeling and become stronger.
Sending hugs to you 💗 So happy to hear your recovery is going well. You had me laughing at your TMI talk😅🤣😂 Rest, relax and take care💜
I'm so happy you are doing good. I hope you have a speedy recovery. I look forward to all your videos.
I just had one this past Monday the 25th. I feel pretty good. i get worried if I sit to much.
😭 yes I can’t wait not to deal with the bleeding and pain 💞
Thank you for sharing your journey, Lisa! Please share more if you can. So grateful to you and happy you are feeling better😊.
I find your video so help and answer many of my questions. Thank you for sharing.
im having partial hysto. only removing uterus and tubes. i cant wait. im also ftm trans so this surgery is long overdue. im opting for partial just cause its a faster recovery time and am low risk of cervical cancer. but no more uterus is gonna be great. dont know how my post op pain will be like but heres hoping its easier than my top surgery
I'm so glad that I saw your video I was looking and watching many of histroctumy videos and after I saw your video I don't need to search more, I felt better about it I will have mine in few days 😬 l am still scared and worried I hope things will go well 😑🙏
I am glad you are feeling better. I’ve been waiting for this update. Thank you. ♥️😊♥️
So happy you doing good. And on the road to recover..
A few weeks from now u might want to do a good probiotic and something Shaklee’s alpha and herblax. I needed to rehab my gut after my second delivery. The stool softeners wacked out my gut, The products I mentioned re-regulated me and it helped so much!❤️
Thank you so so much!! I will definitely plan to do this! I can see how it can Jack up the gut quite a bit! I appreciate you!
@@LisaRowberry i have changed my profile, so just a refresh…I’m the same lady who has the black gsd and sent u bar of very Peary pumpkin from Michigan. Get well soon Lisa!❤️

Did you do it I’m nervous what’s your experience?
@@ladonnajackson5532 yes I had mine and a dam good doctor and surgical team as well. It takes time to heal but you heal faster with this surgery. Instead of other way
You look so healthy. Can someone have a hysterectomy if they have no fibroids or cancer?
Thank you so much!! I have never felt better!! I think it really just depends on the doctor but I would try and even get second opinions if need be!

What are you using to control hormones. Am 5weeks from hysterectomy.
Thanks
Im glad i found you! Im consudering a hysterectomy because of fibroids
Girl.... give it some serious though! My only regret is not having pushed for it sooner! I am feeling my very best and living my best life without having to live in pain and deal with the constant bleeding. You deserve to live your life pain free! Sending you love and hugs!
Watching this knowing I need a hysterectomy but just don't have a date yet 😕
If I work from home and at the desk all day, do you think it would be feasible to contact to work after two weeks? Based on your experience of course.
Take care!
PS a heating pad on my back was my best friend!
You are very inspiring
Hope you get better soon
You look fabulous 😍 so glad you are OK!
Where's that recipe of your friends casserole? Didn't see it posted like you said you'd add.
So happy you are doing well!!!!!
How long did you take pain meds like ibuprofen and muscle relaxers?
I hope you are feeling better! My club says the air filter is discontinuing ahhhhh! What is happening? 😱
It will be a week on Wednesday for me
Update if you don’t mind :) Everything still good?

Thanks for sharing. I just had my surgery 3 weeks ago. I agree now with the fb groups I need to quit reading stuff on there; it's getting to me mentally.
I am glad you are feeling better

I followed your recovery I think was for the first month? LOL I had my laparoscopic hysterectomy on November 15th. The first day was rough lol now I'm on day 6 of recovery maybe day 5 LOL and I'm starting to have stabbing pains where I think my cuff is but it feels almost like the surface of the skin? And the inside? Is this normal? I have four incisions which are healing very well.
Remember how I said I felt like I got in a street fight after my surgery! Girl you got the fat lip to match it!!! 😂🤣
I’ve been waiting for this! ❤️
Hi Friend! Do we have a surgery date set?! Cheering you on sweet friend! I can't wait for you to be on the other side of all this and on your road to recovery!

Hope you are feeling better.
Glad you are doing well love from Northern Ireland 💗
