    I used your method and product. My printer now works! Yay! I needed to do what Steve below said he did: After I ran the cleaning solution through my red cartridge, I then used the empty syringe to suck ink from the tank, and then syringed it back into the cartridge to re-ink it. I actually had to re-ink twice. (Maybe about 5ml of ink.) Then after several times of running the "clean printhead" mode, it now seems to be working fine. My printer model is Epson ET-4550.

    • @lionintu
      @lionintu 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      shouldnt you be sucking out whatever ink is in there first, as explained in the video? I have a 3750 and thats what ill be doing. I agree that it might as well be put back into the tank as well so long as its clean. Makes sense lol.

    Great "how to" video on cleaning the print. I watched a different channels production to this one and it had you basically stripping the entire print head. This one is so much simpler and cured our printing issues - without laying hard earned cash to a technician. Can't thank you enough.

    I came here to tell you thank you it’s work!!!
    I have Epson ET -2650 and we can’t print colors for 3 years only black work. Then I try your method after cleaning the head printer and try to print nothing was printed no ink at all.
    So I try Nozzle cleaning and nozzle check nothing work was thinking have to buy new printer but I’m not give up so I redo Nozzle cleaning and Nozzle check for about 5 times and it started to see the blue color so I keep doing it for three more times and all the colors came back
    Yes they all work perfect now! Very happy for the Result and it very easy!!

    Be sure to take the cartridge out and clean the nozzles under the ink cartridge.
    built up ink deposits tend to gather and dry there which gets past to the the jets then you have clogs.

    Yellow and magenta stop working and then a few pages later of troubleshooting so does cyan. I buy the cleaning kit, follow this EXCELLENT video (easy to understand, clear step-by-step instructions right down to the paper towel) and cleaned all of them - some were difficult to get the fluid through but they did all seem to flush.
    assembled all excitedly and now NO INK AT ALL. The first pass to align printheads produced an inky watery ooze on the paper vs. clear lines now nothing at all. I've tried all of the cleaning settings on the printer and don't want to have to do it all again - do you have to recharge the ink into the print head? Someone here mentioned they sucked some out of the tank with the tubing and "primed" the heads again with with ink - should that be done?
    BTW that little screw is IN THERE TIGHT. Needed a little WDW-40 to help it along.

    It took 8-10 head cleanings to unclog 3 of my lines. No idea if this helped but, in between each cleaning cycle i would squeeze the lines and drag fingers along the line to push ink towards head, i would also agitate the head and tanks with a tap of the finger. ..

    Epson 2750 one with the common software fault that prevent power cleaning, can be cleaned simply by tilting the printer as much as possible ( as you dare, say 70 degrees) in all directions. It works better than anything else. The printer is as new after that. That probably means that it is air in the tybes that is the problem, not sure what the creates the problem.

Color laser printers are more affordable now, but they're still expensive. Buy a regular printer with a regular cartridge head. I just purchased a Canon TR8620. I also purchased refillable (bootleg) cartridges online for it from a place called Ink Owl. (They weren't cheap. 60 bucks.) I also purchased bottles of refill ink so I don't have to pay the outrageous prices for the OEM cartridges. I have an old 2013 Epson NX515 with bootleg refill cartridges (20 bucks) & bottles of refill ink (20 bucks) that are just now running low. That printer is still running strong & my ink bill for the last 8 years has been 40 bucks. Do the math. People think they're saving money with these Ecotanks, but in the long run maintenance on them is horrible & burdensome... and expensive if you have to replace them. I've owned 2 of them. Even after this i get white sheets of paper, nothing at all seems to print. Because in the way shown in the video there wi be alot of cleaning solution in those white tanks, how do you get the cleaning solution out? You dont need to flush the printhead with ink? Maybe the internal cleaning print head option is neccessary after that solution?

    I used this method on an ET-2750 and now it won't print anything in black. It printed dim black until the cleaning fluid was purged. It won't pull in from the tank anymore. The tube has ink, I pulled some through with the syringe. The 'tanks' on the print head remains empty even after trying to print 40 copies.
    It was printing before I flushed the head! I did the flush because it needed occasional head cleaning and I thought this was the fix.
    What do I need to do to get it printing again?
