Kevin and Inkchip were right on the mark for clearing and resetting my Epson ET-2650. Took apart and cleaned the "sponges", dried them off (using hairdryer), put back in, downloaded and ran the Inkchip software, and I am ready for another 20,000 pages printed! Of note - I did also manually clean the heads a couple times over her life using ammonia and manually sliding the print head over the paper towel in the print tray. Couple videos out there on how to do that too - works great. But Thanks to Kevin for the Waste Ink clean and reset - your computer science degree is GOLD in my book!
Do you have a link to that video? I can't find it in my search and my power clean and 5+ nozzle cleanings are not doing the trick on my 3210. I can finally sorta read some words but when I try to print, it prints an outline of the black object I'm printing and the test page barely shows the black and no yellow at all.

Thank you for putting this together. I can't believe that Epson states that there is no maintenance box for the ET2760 model. There certainly is. It's in the same place your video shows. I run a small sticker business and have this exact printer to keep making stickers and this absolutely saved us! Thank you so much Kevin! ♥♥♥ For those wondering, my printer was at a full 100% ink tank filled according to the WIC thing. Took me about an hour for the whole process with 45 mins of that being cleaning the ink pads. Everything else is quick and straightforward.

Many ET-2750 have a software fault that prevent the power clean to operate. It is however also possible just to tilt the printer in all directions one after the other ( I dit it up to 60-70 degrees) and the printer is as god as new. It probably work because the obstruktion is often air bubles . Epson suggest to send the printerto a repear center to get the software fixed, but they suggest just to through the printer out.

Am I the only person who can't seem to get this?! After rearranging my whole room just to connect my printer to my pc (since I normally use a mac) I now can't get the program to find my printer. It shows up in the drop down menu when I click on "deep cleaning" but when I'm trying to run the waste ink counter it won't find my printer. I've restarted the laptop, deleted the program and reinstalled. Nothing is working. I'm getting so frustrated. Idk what else to do at this point.

I wish I would have done that from the start instead of wasting my time trying to wash all that nasty ink out. It was only $9 and super easy.
Its strange my 2750 says "out of paper". But when i run the roller cleaner it never has a problem with the paper for that. It seems Epson is very selective when it wants to be out of paper. I've done all the stuff I've seen online but I haven't tried to buy this software yet. I really think this is Epson's way of getting you to buy a new printer when there is nothing really wrong with your printer. It's all in there software.
I opened up the back of this one and there was a spring that fell out. I can’t figure out where it goes and it won’t recognize that it’s loaded with paper? Can you show what the back of that looks like open?

I have the Epson ET-2851 brand new unused not even filled the ink tanks yet. The Waste ink Tank does not have a Chip in the slot. I wonder if anybody knows what this may mean.
For ET-2714 inkhip software, Windows security block it. It said that has a trojan . Online antivirus consider the software malicious also. Please, check the file before bougth anything
do you have to reset the chip after you clean the maintenance box? I have a Epson et 4750 that I have cleaned the print heads and unclogged, but all I get is blank pages. I understand why you clean the filter inside these cartridges but it’s actually illegal to allow ink and or other dangerous chemicals to go down the sink. Its why you’re supposed to recycle the cartridges. It’s also illegal to throw them away in the regular trash. It’s not called E waste for nothing. Everything that goes down the sink gets filtered into our drinking water supply. No amount of filtration at the local municipality can remove ink safely because its not like debris or human waste that can be filtered. The water absorbs the ink like the atmosphere absorbs carbon dioxide. You can may not see it but it’s there.

I'm on a Mac and it's not working, I even used Windows for Mac and it's not working. It worked before with this same printer, the ET-2750 but not this time, I wasted $10 buying a useless code to do this but as least it was only $10. Looks like a new printer is in my future. Sucks.
Yes. This is just a warranty breaking hack. You also have to be wary of software companies that sell this type of firmware hacking as it can also break your hardware forever, called bricking.

I won't lie, I was skeptical about this and buying the code from INKCHIP but it worked. I have an L3210 - cleaned out the waste tank as directed in your video and had to download the WIC file from a Windows computer (not for MAC). Also, make sure you enter the LONG code they send in the email. I was entering the order number because I didn't open the email fully and just saw that 6-digit number which gives you an error. If I'd watched the video Inkchip sent a link to, I'd have known better but I'm impulsive. Thank you, Kevin! I still have printing issues but at least I can clean the heads now.

This is my second Epson eco-tank the first one I just threw away after the tank got full but for this one I figured somebody’s had to come out with some thing and stumbled upon this and thank God I did because it just saved me $300 I have an Epson eco-tank 2760 I washed out the pads let them dry overnight put then i did the software and boom good as new printer you were truly a lifesaver it’s very easy to do once again thank you .

Hi thanks for all your work do you know if the waste ink collector reference C13T04D100 is the one used in this printer ? There are two models of this container and one of them seems to be this exact one. It can be purchased for pretty cheap and I’m asking myself if it is worth it as epson doesn’t list this printer as compatible because they want us to go to their repair shop. I get black ink pooling under my 2750 at times, especially if I move it. Is the ink pad the issue?

Inkchip took my money successfully, but the code says invalid. Beware.
When I try to get the waste ink pad count, the program locks up and shows "Not responding".....any tips?

Good info but why do we have to reset a counter on a printer that was purchased for volume printing... The reset should be free from epson.

What if you have a wireless ET-2720? My Norton won’t let me lease the virus protection?
Right click the Norton icon and disable the active protection for 15 minutes. Or, install a virtual machine

Kevin, thanks for a great video that saved me buying a new printer. Your advice got me washing the pads and using the Inkchip utility to fix the problem. Wonderful!

Hi thanks for all your work do you know if the waste ink collector reference C13T04D100 is the one used in this printer ? There are two models of this container and one of them seems to be this exact one. It can be purchased for pretty cheap and I’m asking myself if it is worth it as epson doesn’t list this printer as compatible because they want us to go to their repair shop. If not I will no doubt try your method thanks again !

If we put the external waste tank in will epson still stop printing after awhile? I got the trial reset and it only lasted one day.
