2008 WR250F Grey wire mod

I have seen many video's on this. Many are on older WR's and those on the 07 onwards don't have very clear recordings there is one where you can't see the wiring as its to dark, plus the location on the 07 is different. On the 07 onwards the wires are located beside the CDI. Remove the side plastic that covers the reservoir bottle for the radiator fluid and you'll see all the wires. There are three connectors two with six wires and one with three. The grey wire is located on the connector with six wires just find the Grey one. Slide up the plastic outer protector cut the Grey wire only. I put Araldite on the ends to help seal the wire. Slide the outer plastic protector down Jobs done.

Hey david awesome video, i took all of my plastics off to change the intake hoses and i couldnt figuire out where the ecu goes i tried googling it but of course all google wants to do is sell you shit but your video helped me get my bike back together. You could also solder the gray wire to a switch and use that to change between yz map and the wr map.
