@@kawaiifangzz So like, I've had gender identity described to me as the experience of someone saying, doing, having, feeling, or thinking something that gives them some kind of definitive, positive feeling of "I am a Man/Woman/Both/Somewhere In-Between." I've never had that happen to me ever, nor even once, in my life. I thought that was a joke for the LONGEST time lol. If the question was not about my (lack of) gender, then I'll list other shit I guess: Human, Capricorn sun sign, Pagan, Bird Enthusiast...
@@sardonicrose I guess I'm not completely lost to how you phrase it, but as a woman and a mother I can personally attest to FEELING like a woman. Now, where I seem to get lost is the never identifying as either masculine or feminine. How do you go through life in thia grey area never affirming any trait that comes naturally to humans? How do you not ever feel the need to nurture - feminine trait. How do you not ever express empathy, sympathy, earnestness - prominent masculine traits.
@@kawaiifangzz The fact that things like nurturing are considered to be feminine, and things like earnestness are considered masculine, oddly enough, is what is entirely foreign to me. Obviously I am still a human, I have shit like emotions, traits, beliefs, etc. However, none of those things spark an identifying feeling in me, beyond just being a human experience. Even when I look at my body- if I see my genitals in a mirror, there is no feeling of "This affirms me a woman, and that's good," or, "These genitals do not match up with my identity as a man, and that distresses me." Instead, I just think, "Well, that's my body." I'll take a trait of mine that is usually gendered- my upfront, blunt nature. I tend to say directly what I mean, instead of using subtext and signals. People tend to associate that with men, usually. However, it doesn't register, in my own sense of self, as anything other than being human, or being me. I guess for someone who experiences a gender identity, it would be like there was a disconnection, a gap, or a missing bridge, between your traits and aspects of your identity. Although, for me that is not the full picture. If there was something missing or lost, that would mean it was something I once knew, or once had, and thus, could actually understand it, and might seek to get it back. But no- for me, it was never there at all.
@@kawaiifangzz For me who is more bigender and sometimes lean on the agender, or demigenders, so kind of genderfluid, my gender confuses me and I can never really get a full label on what it actually is, so I stick with the term non-binary. But I have that sense of being both, I want to transition but I also want to stay the same, I see my body parts and acknowledge them as a fact of life and not a indicating of my gender should be (according to society). Its like shifting on a spectrum of needing to be seen as another gender, it's still me but I would prefer if people didn't use certain terms. And a lot of those traits aren't necessarily masculine or feminine, anyone can have those traits, non-binary people can exhibit those traits, and there are masculine agender people, and feminine agender people as well, the concept maybe hard to grasp but being able to respect someone's identity and gendered terms isn't.

The problem with identifying someone's sex through their skeleton is that they are guessing. Legit, people say there are ways to tell someone's sex through their skeleton, but it generally is just making a guess based on how tall the skeleton is, the curvature of the spine, and the width of the hips, but honestly any man can be short and have wider hips and any woman can be tall and have narrow hips. So really, they won't be able to tell, they'll still just be assuming, and many times they get it wrong
yes true and also i don’t get why transphobes think we’re digging up everyone’s bones like that rarely happens and probably will happen even more rarely in the future
@@algaegreen8 right??? Additionally scientists don't only make the assumption based on the skeleton, but also the artifacts left behind with the corpse, and even THEN they get it wrong. Also as Samantha said, we can leave a note, but more importantly we'll be dead so who cares. Can't get dysphoria if I don't exist anymore!!
Also estrogen and testosterone are what causes the weight difference in male and female bones. So if a trans person is taking hormones it will change the density of their bones.

The woman was like on the photo on the left and the men were on the right. I had both the men beat by a good 2 or so inches, lol. What a great time.

Making a joke about suicide is beyond sick imo. I’m a suicide victim who’s tried too many times, and I wish none of that pain to anybody, not even my worst enemies. That being said, it just shows how intimidated Cis individuals are with trans men and women. Also, I think them being so focused on genitals is way too concerning-like ew, perverts. Why you want to know what’s down there?

8:30 it is currently the scientific consensus that you cannot tell sex let alone gender from the bones. In fact more rigorously examination of previously found remains found that scientists routinely misidentified up to a third of skeletons solely based on their assumptions of the social structure of the place and time they were studying (for example they assumed all male buried Vikings will actually men)
Transphobes saying no people should transition because some people regret it is like saying that no people should eat cheese because some people are lactose intolerant.
I will only describe myself as straight around cis people. I personally think of myself as gynosexual, because I am attracted to a person's femininity.
What's hilarious is that the "Doesn't define my..." meme is actually correct lol IQ isn't the only thing that measures intelligence, and someone's physique isn't always a measure of fitness.
Just cane home from work exhausted by creeps (online casino dealing) and I come HOme to a VIDEOOO released by YOUUU who OOOOO gave YOU THE AUDACITY TO BE ALIVE LOOKING THE WAY YOU LOOKING TODAY YOURE GREAT AND THANK YOU FOR EXISTING
Skeletal remains are notoriously hard to gender... the differences are very minute, and the only concrete determination, if you happen to have a full pelvis, is if a person had given birth to a child, you could determine they were able to get pregnant. TV shows have greatly exaggerated the ability to magically learn tons of information about a person based on their bones alone. Archaeologists, when studying human remains, use the artifacts found with the body to do a lot more work than the body itself. To top this off... it is being learned that a lot of human remains that were associated with men, are turning out to be women, because for hundreds of years, a burial filled with gold and other honors was just assumed to belong to a male influential person... but more study of the artifacts associated with it, DNA analysis and more complete histories of the various cultures are leading to a lot of corrections of those past mistakes. So the idea of leaving a "note" is very real. If a trans woman is buried wearing a dress, feminine jewelry... than when they are uncovered (assuming a loss of records etc...) it will generally be assumed that they were a woman, especially as society is trending more progressive when observing long trends, so 300 years from now, the idea of trans people is likely to be much more accepted.
6:00 Well, they're actually correct about the IQ thing. IQ defines your ability to solve IQ tests, which _correlates_ with intelligence to some degree but isn't an absolute measure. (For example, if you've never heard of the concept of mathematical series like the Fibonacci sequence, you're likely to score a lot less in the "find the next number in series" segment of an IQ test.)
But if you break up the definition of intelligence into the 8 (9) different types them it's hard to define what IQ is when someone is good at understanding and defining tone in music compared to something who is mathematical intelligent. Some people suck at maths while others are excellent at picking up different languages. But I assume IQ tests for is language and maths skills.
When I did my IQ test I was young and smoking a lot of weed. We had this game where you would take a hit, name an animal and pass the joint. The next animal had to start with the last letter of the previous animal. So dog, gorilla, alpaca, etc. During one of the tests I got a paper with all the letters of the alphabet and was told to fill in as many animals as I could. By coincidence I had been actively training for this test the entire summer and I can't help but giggle at the fact that weed increased my IQ.
@@neon17.08 You're right. I think intelligence is broadly defined as the ability to solve problems, IQ just measures a very specific type of problem solving ability. One person can be really good at finding geometrical patterns and solving abstract problems but still fail to recognize behavior patterns and nonverbal cues on other persons, some people started talking about social and emotional intelligence a while ago but it's still not as widely known as IQ (even if it's misunderstood). There are quite a few others, as you mentioned, some people are naturally good at sports, martial arts or dancing, for example, this is also another example of intelligence that isn't often acknowledged.
@@gcolombelli I find it interesting how I'll notice a pattern in everyday life and understand it but when taking an IQ? Idk how to answer it, and end up being confused. Solving problems is much easier when confronted with it then when it's on paper, since it feels less important.

Edit: they came out as nonbinary; so take that, dysphoria :>
As a fellow trans girl dating a cis girl, I feel this. On one hand we have the umm “physical compatibility” which is cool but on the other hand I constantly feel like I’m not completely a woman because of said physical compatibility.
@Ville I mean I didn’t but go off

6:10 He's just sad that people are misgendering his girlfriend, what a nice supportive bf.
6:56 The transphobia is saying all (binary) trans people have to pay both because they're not actually their gender. But as an agender person I'll take that, I'm not male or female so give me that free pass.
DAMMIT beat me to the punch on mentioning I'm Agender and hella down for a free pass.
Even when I look at my body- if I see my genitals in a mirror, there is no feeling of "This affirms me a woman, and that's good," or, "These genitals do not match up with my identity as a man, and that distresses me." Instead, I just think, "Well, that's my body."
I'll take a trait of mine that is usually gendered- my upfront, blunt nature.
@@kawaiifangzz
For me who is more bigender and sometimes lean on the agender, or demigenders, so kind of genderfluid, my gender confuses me and I can never really get a full label on what it actually is, so I stick with the term non-binary.
The one with the suicide was easily the most disgusting in my opinion 🤢🤮

Agreed. It's not funny to joke about things like that.
Did you ever see the meme of some stupid TERFs thinking they clocked someone when told they were trans when it was literally a cisgender famous actor

8:30 it is currently the scientific consensus that you cannot tell sex let alone gender from the bones. In fact more rigorously examination of previously found remains found that scientists routinely misidentified up to a third of skeletons solely based on their assumptions of the social structure of the place and time they were studying (for example they assumed all male buried Vikings will actually men)
From what I read it's based on size of bones to make best guess

@@tinytigertamer yeah same :0
What's hilarious is that the "Doesn't define my..." meme is actually correct lol IQ isn't the only thing that measures intelligence, and someone's physique isn't always a measure of fitness.
@Ville but u have the notifications on for her? 🤷♀️
@Ville can you explain this further?
The people who DM "41%" must realize that DMs like that are one of the many reasons the stat is as high as it is.
be a shame if someone were to start rumors 41% were a criminal dog whistle.........
@@ddjsoyenby yes I know it's also a dogwhistle
@JoggaStoppa™ You missed the "one of the many reasons" part of my comment.
@@gcolombelli
I find it interesting how I'll notice a pattern in everyday life and understand it but when taking an IQ? Idk how to answer it, and end up being confused.
Solving problems is much easier when confronted with it then when it's on paper, since it feels less important.

I’m a huge fan of you ❤️ this is funny as a trans girl I find your personality beautiful 😍
I didn't know there are transphobic memes
@Ville uh oh, I think the transphobic bot's circuits are fried, it's having hallucinations!
There are memes about anything.
You know you’re watching queer content when a pr🥚gg u ad shows up below
(Edit I misspelled below)
I like your hair.
Hey, I mean, I would be happy to unwrap any presents. Doesn't matter if it's an "inny" or an "outy" lol
Don't sweat the missing nail Samantha, it's nice to see a woman in her natural state sometimes.
Yea the natural state of those man fingers * grabs you by the neck and RKO you * woooooowoooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhHh
DiGiorno has an ongoing campain "It's not delivery. Its digiorno" the ads are all depictions of shitty delivery drivers vs families that choose the smart route and just got digiorno. The ad is about how their frozen pizza is restaurant quality but with the confort of cooking in the oven at home. Just as good or even better than "the real thing"........ and there is the transphobic implication.
Thanks, I hate it!
