And studies and statistics show that most people who go on puberty blockers end up being right that they were trans and do later transition when old enough. I’m trans and knew at a very young age and now I’m in my 20s. I know trans people who have known since they were a kid and are now in their 60s. Kids can understand more than you think, and it’s not like they’re giving children testosterone or estrogen or surgeries, just puberty blockers and letting them change the name and pronouns they go by, their hair, clothes, etc. all stuff that is reversible, just like puberty blockers. Nothing permanent.

What terrifies me is that this "documentary" might actually be done and it will be humiliating beyond words for the trans people (and allies such as surgeons, etc.) they'll interview. I can see it already: the voice over relentlessly making fun of each trans person interviewed. Trans women explaining how they live their lives and the voice over going "she has a penis though! How ridiculous!" Trans men explaining "I already knew I was a boy when I was 4" and then the documentary cutting to a fake "psychology expert" explaining how "stupid and naive" this man was as a kid. Nonbinary people telling how they've been battling with suicidal tendencies and so-called "scientists" telling you this suffering is faked. This is not just insidious, this is bullying, this is humiliation on TV. This is something that would lead to memes and videos and comments in real life. This is something that would lead the people interviewed to suicide and self-harming. Something that will ruin their lives forever.

Trans mother here, it's not that we're saying that trans people don't exist but that our children simply do not need to be taught what it is, sooo young. it isn't my childs job to validate her teacher but the teachers job to teach stuff kinda like math + science etc. and have them be able to explore those feelings about gender organically, without influence, and especially if they have questions it's normal, but no that makes them terfs or w/e (it doesn't and i want to have those conversations with my babies, not a stranger)

Did anyone here actually watch the film? It's a well-made documentary worth the watch no matter which side you're on. It has a conservative bias to it but keep an open mind as it is factual.

Why is Matt Walsh so obsessed with trans people? Because that's what this is-- it's an obsession. This is going way past the point of regular trolling. This is beyond someone who has some "edgy" views because of their own issues. Does he feel insecure in his masculinity? Does "punching down" at vulnerable communities make him feel big? Is he exploiting his far right wing base, and knows that anti-trans content gets the most views? And studies and statistics show that most people who go on puberty blockers end up being right that they were trans and do later transition when old enough. I’m trans and knew at a very young age and now I’m in my 20s. I know trans people who have known since they were a kid and are now in their 60s. Kids can understand more than you think, and it’s not like they’re giving children testosterone or estrogen or surgeries, just puberty blockers and letting them change the name and pronouns they go by, their hair, clothes, etc. all stuff that is reversible, just like puberty blockers. Nothing permanent.

Don’t talk about science lol. The idea of transgenderism goes against biology. Transgenderism is based off of what you feel like. There is not science in it or truth for that matter.
What terrifies me is that this "documentary" might actually be done and it will be humiliating beyond words for the trans people (and allies such as surgeons, etc.) they'll interview. I can see it already: the voice over relentlessly making fun of each trans person interviewed. Trans women explaining how they live their lives and the voice over going "she has a penis though! How ridiculous!" Trans men explaining "I already knew I was a boy when I was 4" and then the documentary cutting to a fake "psychology expert" explaining how "stupid and naive" this man was as a kid. Nonbinary people telling how they've been battling with suicidal tendencies and so-called "scientists" telling you this suffering is faked.
This is not just insidious, this is bullying, this is humiliation on TV. This is something that would lead to memes and videos and comments in real life. This is something that would lead the people interviewed to suicide and self-harming. Something that will ruin their lives forever.
