The thing about pockets is true. They have pretty much stopped putting pockets in women's dresses and nice trousers because they're quicker to make without them. But not everyone wants to carry a bag at all times, especially if you only need to carry your keys. Finding decent clothes with pockets is an event.

The irony is that I think most women are, like, ten times more likely to buy a dress with pockets than without. And I mean on impulse. "Oh, I'm just looking. Oh, this dress is cute AND it HAS POCKETS? SOLD." But the last time I bought a bag was... three years ago? I'm not a purse girl. I don't keep a collection-- unless I get them for FREE.

I mean, if I'm gonna get a bag, then it has to fit more than pockets
So at least two handkerchief packages, my phone, a book in normal edition size, and all the random stuff you have in your bag because you have it in your bag
But nowadays, even finding a bag I can fit a single book in is though!

I don’t understand the concept of fake pockets. Like… why lie? If it’s a an issue with messing up the lines of the clothing fine - but either have them or don’t. I can’t handle the lies or disappointment anymore. 🥲

ikrr, my cousin's favorite pants have big pockets and I complimented her pants and she said "thanks it has big pockets I love them!" and she proceeds to put her hands in her pockets and it was frickingg ADORABLE!!

Ngl when Rev. Chris said "Take a breath, it's gonna be okay" at 07:46, I almost wanted to cry out of relief. I've been so anxious this month and scared because a lot of changes are gonna happen with me this year. I've been so on edge since New Year's that hearing that from him immediately calmed me down. I currently fighting tears writing this but I just wanna thank you guys, JOLLY and KE have been my safe space on youtube. I'm so glad I stumbled on your channel a couple years ago. I'm going through a big change in a few weeks and I have been nervous+anxious+depressed+confused for the past month. Now I'm at the stage where I'm like "fuck everything, autopilot mode on" whatever you're going through I just wanna say it's eventually going to be ok. When you're anxious you can think of so many people are also nervous about their changes with you. That's why life is dope. We're all in this together
I never grew up religious and have very few people I think of as moral compasses, but when Rev Chris talks, I listen. He says it's going to be ok? I'm like, I feel it.

It's going to be ok. The anticipation is always worse than the thing itself. When the changes happen, you will find you can handle it way better than you expected. It might be difficult going, but it won't be what you fear it will be. If there's one thing life has taught me, it's that (just like seeing a giant shadow cast on a wall and finding out it was cast by only a little animal) our fears about it are always bigger than the actual monster we're fighting.

The contraption to hold toddlers in place for xray is called a pigg-o-stat. It removes their arms and shoulder blades out of the way of the chest area/lung field for chest xray. It also helps with having them take big breaths in for the chest xray since 99% of the pediatric patients will start crying when placed in pigg-o-stat

I'm guessing only children's hospitals have those . . . I had to put on a lead apron and hold my 7 month old in this position for a chest X-ray. She cried, I cried too 😢

Every imaging department I’ve ever worked has them but they get pushed into closets because parents flip out when they see it. They work great, hold them still and have perfectly placed lead shield

When my kiddo was 4, we had to pick up my husband from an appointment. While leaving the house, I told my daughter where we were going - she suddenly gave me a concerned look and said, "Mama. We'll need to use both hands to carry him. We've got this! I'm super strong!" Still makes me giggle.

My sister was lost in thought one day, wondering how time flew and now she had not one, but two daughters. The second one, who was around 4 at the time, looked up from whatever she was doing. i have a funny story related to the last one! I work with pre-school kids, and that day I was working with the 5 year olds. I was talking to one of the other teachers and for some reason said "I'm sorry". Now, in Swedish, there's two ways to say I'm sorry. "Förlåt", or "jag är ledsen" - the first is just I'm sorry but the second is literally translated as "I'm sad". I said the second one, and suddenly get like three 5 year olds looking at me worried and asking "why are you sad? that's not good :(". really made my day!

My son had to do this X-ray and he screamed the entire time and it broke my heart because you have to walk away behind the wall and he was screaming “mama!” The entire time. It is not as wholesome as is seemed. I was also bawling the entire three minutes that it took to do it.

Once when I was visiting my cousins I saw that my little baby cousin had a little watch on and I wanted to know if she could read it and tell the time, so I asked her if she knew what her watch said and she said yes. I was impressed, because she's like 2, so I asked "What does you're watch say?" and she answered "it says beep beep"

So, TMI, hope you see this (or not), anyway, so college is 3 years with 2 semesters each (6 in total) and this year is my LAST 6 MONTHS until graduation and for a stupid mistake that I did (well idk if it was me or the college forgot to remind ME)I won't be graduating with my friends this year and have to wait another year to attend my last semester.....😃 I'm slowly accepting the FACT, but yk, the feeling of you not being in the same yearbook as them, not being able to attend the same graduation ceremony as them kinda sucks... As an x ray tech in training, we try to avoid the piggo stat! (Yes thats the name i dont know why) but we have to try to keep wiggly babies still as to avoid exposing them again due to motion.
Not to make Rev. Chris get all swollen headed or anything but his appearances on your vids show that just being a good person goes a long way :)!
By which I mean that he really must be very good at the social roles his being a priest call upon him to do. He is reassuring, calmly authoritative on biblical matters and funny with it.
That matters a lot more than most people realise as we only tend, on the whole, to come in contact with the priesthood at the worst of times - I can speak from experience that, when my wife died relatively young, the priest who conducted her service could not have been better at helping me deal with the situation and make the decisions I needed to make. That kind of empathy cannot be taught.

Relating to the wisdom of little ones: My husband loves barbecuing. He makes a fire almost every evening and can sit there for hours, relaxing. During a holiday when our daughter was about 3 years old, the stove in our chalet malfunctioned and a big fire broke out. Luckily my husband got a fire extinguisher quickly and put it out before it could spread. Afterwards, while we're all sitting outside in shock, our little girl says: "Daddy, you shouldn't make such big fires inside, it's dangerous." 😂
