gender affirming care includes counseling and anti depressant. Counseling and medications has been shown to drop suicide rates in all adolescent by at least 20% No matter the gender. Numbers show more then half of all those that attempted suicide did so more then once and the death rate still remains high after gender reaffirming care. Dropping by 50% but still mamy times higher then cis gender counterparts. The other thing to remember is the numbers of those alive by the time they go through transition drops significantly so even though rates drop after reaffirming care the Numbers dont show the deaths that occurred before that. At up to 28% suicide rate the number of those that die during transition are not taken into account. Only those that are deemed successful transition. meaning that its unclear if the actual numbers drop significantly or at all even after gender reaffirming treatment and fully Transitioning
chromosomes are the only determiner of biological sex. Its the only way to differentiate sex other then ultrasound of reproductive organs that produce eggs or semen. The ability to procreate in almost all life depends on this. Animals and humans that are of specific chromosome set are given different reproductive abilities. There has been no case where that wasn't true in any mammal . Science relies on whats repeatable and nothing is more repeatable then procreation. Were talking in the billions with no exceptions. .
Those in Gender reaffirming care and transition have different treatment based on the sex they were born with. How do we know this. If you stop getting specific treatment of hormones you revert back to sex you were born with. Your body is already hardwired. We know that a tr . ans Woman no matter how Invasive their transition is will never get pregnant or have a period or get cancer of the uterus. Endocrinologist will meet the needs of the person based on the sex they were born with. If you get a physician they must know what sex you were born with or they can't treat you. Thats fact. I have spoken with both patients and doctor's about this. If you have to go to the doctors constantly which a person in transition does they have to tell the doctor what sex they are. If they don't they will be misdiagnosed or not given the treatment they require which can result in illness or even death. A doctor would be sued for malpractice if they treated a person as if they were the gender they choose.
The numbers vary from study tp study. No doubt gender reaffirming care works to help people suffering gender dysphoria but again we dont know how much or if its the counseling medication and support groups that are really the effective treatment. Know that transition doesn't assure a life of happiness. Its very tough and full of ups and downs mentally as well as physically. Rushing people into the idea that transition is the best treatment for them is unethical..it might not be the best course of action for everyone. Telling children that anyone can be whatever gender they want without telling them the risk of transition is evil.
Imagine thinking your psychological state can actually make you something outside your biological state and being confused why people don’t agree and calling them phobic when they explain how that is wrong.
@@richie9878 First of all, not related to something being a sin. Secondly, that psychological state is part of your biological state (many sources prove this). It's only phobic just to push these ideas and surface-level facts onto others. They may explain how it's wrong, but their explanations tend to be proven wrong through many various studies.
@@iceprincess135 let me ask you, do you think your physiological state has any bearing on the biological fact that you are a human? As in if you truly believe you are something outside of being a human and that identity is not a choice will that change you being a human? why or why not?
@@richie9878 Of course it does. Humans are biological humans, but being something outside of human is complicated and, as I've mentioned many times, needs more research. Identity has never been a choice unless it was something related to satire (i.e. attack helicopter) or factions. But if I were to say if it were to change you being a human, then on a spiritual state, yes. Everyone has a spirit animal, but some people hold that spiritual relationship close to them to the point it becomes a part of who they are. Obviously, on a biological state, being human will never change. But for those who's spirit animals become a part of them, it would make just as much sense for them to identify with and as that animal. No matter how the identity works, it's still not a choice. Nobody chooses identity; the identity is embedded in our brains and hearts.
@@iceprincess135 “on a spiritual state” “ everyone has a spirit animal”. Tell me again how this whole trans ideology is not a religion? And you see how you ended up understanding that “obviously being human will never change” even tho they have an identity they truly believe. You are almost there… now how do you know scientifically speaking that they are human what do we look at to make that determination is it just one thing or is it multiple things and what are those things?
Yeah exactly, there’s a big difference between being intolerant about a person’s existence, and being intolerant about a *belief* someone has (that you shouldn’t exist). Those two things cannot logically be equated. But transphobes use a lot of logical fallacies in their arguments anyway 🙄
@Anthony spreading hateful and deadly ideas is hating their existence. Instantly assuming anyone lgbtq is a predator is hating their existence. Voting against the rights of others is hating their existence. Going against science to “justify” backwards opinions and disrespecting someone’s identity is hating their existence The suicide and homelessness rate for trans and lgbtq youth is way to high. @Anthony Not very, I'm cis gender, heterosexual, white and I live in a liberal state that gives me body autonomy as a women. But I can still care about people being oppressed can't I?
The problem with the religious argument by the one TikTok speaker: people have a natural sexual orientation and gender identity that develops from the womb into adolescence (something that the child will come to view as a natural and inherent part of their identity, whether it is heterosexual, homosexual, cisgender, or transgender). In that context, there is nothing really wrong with a parent modeling heteronormativity or cisnormativity to children, anymore than there is something wrong with a more open minded parent modeling an openness towards non-conforming gender expression or same sex partners. No matter the parenting or nurturing, the child’s orientation and gender identity is just as likely to develop in a way that doesn’t conform to the training (and this is where the open minded parent will at least succeed in not shaming or harming the child, should they turn out to be trans or gay or different than what was modeled). The real problem is that the man is demanding that his kids view trans and gay people as the result of evil or sinful behavior (and possibly themselves as evil or shameful, should they be trans or gay). So by this view point, trans and gay people don’t really exist (and even his own kids could possibly be in danger of despising their own existence). According to this father, after all, LGBTQ people are just cis or straight people who have failed to be “good,” who have been misled to “behave” in a manner that is against God or against the way they were created. This argument invalidates the very humanity of trans or gay people and makes them the source of fear and conflict just because they are being themselves. So this is what the man is insisting he teach his children, and then he’s complaining that people call him out on being bigoted or hateful? Give me a break! People die or become victims of these “religiously” minded bigots and their fears or need to invalidate LGBTQ humanity. And these bigots want to be able to be bigots without being accountable for their hateful views? They want to be hateful and spread unreasonable fears without people speaking out against their intolerance, ignorance, and bigotry? Not only that, but they want to have the power to sue school districts if they acknowledge the existence of gay, trans, or non-binary people. So this isn’t just about what they teach within the confines of their own homes, but it’s also about a deliberate effort to sustain stigma and prejudice towards LGBTQ people in our larger culture and national identity, and thereby have an excuse continuing discrimination and infringement of LGBTQ people’s rights. These religious fundamentalists can have freedom of religion and freedom of speech (or even the freedom to remain ignorant), but they don’t have the freedom to be free of opposing arguments that reject their poor reasoning and fear mongering. Thankfully, others in our society also have the freedom to speak out against their narrow and bigoted views. And these privileged, self-righteous people do not have the right to silence trans or gay people who would correctly label their bigotry or hatred. That is a joke, and this man should be called out on his ludicrous logic. He is just whining about other people having the same freedoms that he already enjoys. I’m very appreciative of those who use this same freedom to express a very different view than his prejudice and hateful one. He isn’t losing “the right” to speak badly about LGBTQ people, or to even to teach his children these same views. But he is being totally unreasonable to expect that those in the LGBTQ community will be so oppressed that they cannot offer a counter argument or openly disagree with him. Maybe in the 1950s or even 1980s this would have been the case. But this is the 2020s, so keep your hate and bigotry inside the walls of your mosque or church if you can’t handle people labeling you a bigot. My two cents… maybe three :) I love you, Samantha. Thank you for being a bold and beautiful young lady. You inspire me!
As a cis straight guy, thank you for this comment! I wasn't sure what exactly was wrong with that man's statement, but you put it into words so well. I want to be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, but often am unable to really formulate myself or give meaning to wanting to help, probably because of lack of experience, since I don't have to argue for the validity of my very existence. I don't really know what else to say, except that I hope others are moved by your arguments as well to resist this sort of bigotry! I'll certainly try to do so.

one of these "interview" conservative tiktok guys actually came up to me to ask these questions while i was at a fair. im a trans guy. they thought i was a cis guy. they asked me "how many genders are there?" without knowing i was trans.
Why did you choose to identify with the males instead of females? You must have lacked a positive female role model in childhood. You see males as strong and assertive but females as weak and vulnerable.
my mom and aunts made me afraid of lesbians since I was a little girl. I missed out on a lot of experiences because of that fear. Now I know I'm bisexual, and it seems so stupid to me that they made me afraid of lesbians. In my experience, I have more reasons to fear men.
@@iceprincess135 you dont understand. You just hear the right words that sound good to you and you like. If you do understand crazy talk it is understandable though
My thing for the religious argument, is that those people chose to be religious, but I didn't choose to be queer. Almost every religious group has a sub-group that's pro-lgbtq+. It's okay to think it's a sin, but what's not okay is making it known you think it's a sin, and the way that man was talking about it, he clearly thinks that being lgbt+ is a choice.
The Muslim one pissed me off so much. I come from a Muslim background and I stopped being Muslim at 17, not that I ever consented to being religious in the first place. I'm 20 now and I'm left SO DAMAGED from all the bigotry that this religion teaches its children. I was left incredibly suicidal, depressed and anxious and I am diagnosed with all of those, plus PTSD. Queer people aren't fucking bacon, you earworm. You choosing not to eat pork is a personal life style choice. But teaching your kids that being gay is a sin, is actively spreading hatred (plus misinformation might I add) and it's not even your business what someone's sexuality is. You can't NOT be bigoted and then use your religion as an excuse for being homophobic. Your religion is extremely discriminatory towards a lot of people and maybe you should look at yourself individually and the choices you make, not blame it on some imaginary sky daddy that tells you to curb stomp the gays. This topic hits especially close bc I'm still closeted towards my family and when I was 14 I genuinely wanted to die bc I thought there was no point in life if I was going to hell anyway for being bisexual and questioning my gender. Watch out with what you teach your kids, you might be the reason why they want to give up on life.
Parents are most lgbt kids first bullies! Even myself coming from an atheist background I knew the word gay as an insult before I knew what I really meant and that it applied to me. I was raised conditioned to think that gay was something bad and shameful to be or be seen as.
I was in GSA and this one kid came up to me and asked if I was trans. I politely said no but I do understand why they may have thought that. I am a cis-women and I have a hormone imbalance which causes my voice to be lower, have side burns (more then if I would if I didn’t have it), a neck beard and other things. I know that some people may think I’m trans but the reality is that if I had hormone therapy those things would be gone. The reason for the imbalance is probably because of PCOS (but idk yet) which stops my period from happening, this also plays into the arguments of “you’re not a women if you don’t have a period” and “if you can’t have children then you’re not a women” because it can also cause infertility. I honestly couldn’t care less about what ppl think of my appearance cause I love myself either way and in Demi so idc bout what ppl look like.
Girl, get testing asap. Hormonal imbalances often come with type 2 diabetes, and that will cause some pretty serious health issues if left unaddressed. Get tested for PCOS, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, and type 2 diabetes. It could save your life. A good friend of mine died at 33 because she didn’t get proper treatment.
The root of all of this “real woman” crap if you dig deep enough turns out to be about policing women and being dicks to women that are not the “feminine” ideal.. women that were seen as “manly” have been targeted for mean treatment for a very long time.. if a woman ever does kick a mans ass they can turn around and play the “not a real woman” card.. it is just patriarchy rearing it’s ugly head as always.. it’s messed up because women have never all completely fit their ideal idea of what they want to see us as and I think that is awesome. We are all different and no less awesome women
To the Muslim man asking why he is being called a bigot, yes. You are a bigot. A bigot is someone that is intolerant of other people. The interesting point he made is that people won't tolerate his intolerance which highlights the paradox of tolerance. The only thing people can correctly not tolerate is intolerance, which is why it's a paradox. The last video is hilarious. "Everyone poops." Awesome, I love it.

Putting aside the people who support garbage like "don't say gay" just to hurt people, the key point that a lot of the "innocent" bigots miss is that being LGBTQIA+ isn't a choice, it's how a person is.

Yes there are still only two sexes male and female. Intersex is a general term used to describe males or females with abnormalities. Most conditions that would cause a human to be considered intersex only affect one of the sexes. For example Turner syndrome would cause people be what you would consider intersex but we know Tuner syndrome only affects females. We know it only affects females because again there are only two sexes.

you have to give it to this guy, that the situation is a little paradox. people agreeing and fighting for the transgender agenda hate his people too. you are telling this man that his thousand+ years old religion (that is - in his mind - giving him power, wisdom, peace, knowledge, morals, community, life etc.) is some dangerous, hateful thing. it's offensive. and I'm sure as hell, that you can be bullied, beaten or worse for being a muslim too... the thing is that you think your ideology is better therefore it's ok to discriminate people on that basis. I joined a group for fighting violence against woman after I was assulted on the street in broad daylight. and I was excommunicated because some non-binary/transwoman folk find my comment about his/her/their illogical opinion hurtful. the discussion wasn't even trans-related. so I - from first hand experience - know that ideologically indoctrined transgender-allies have a very real hate towards people who dare to question anyone or anything in connection with transgenderism. the internet is full of protests, boycotts, even full blown physical attacks against people who are non violently disagreed with the transgender-agenda. you just can't tell, that transgender allies don't think about for example muslim people as sinners/transphobes. it's the same.

In what Quran does it say that “laying with a man in the same way you would lay with a woman” is a sin in the *original* texts?! I bet you, it doesn’t. None of the original religious scriptures does say this! The original texts says “never lay with a child the same way you would lay with a woman.” But modern translators had an agenda and changed the child part to man. And thus, this is the reason why we still have pedophilia problems in religions, especially in Catholicism and Christianity. The LGBTQ+ community has existed since Ancient Greece and Ancient Egyptian times. Its just that also, homophobic and transphobic people tried to keep them erased from history, thus being barely any historical documents on it.

A good definition is: woman; Noun) the abstractions of femaleness, divorced from its biological sex. Of course, if y'all want to say a woman is an adult, human, female, then that checks out (if we can agree what an adult, a human, and a female is) most women are adult human females, but just as a chair is defined as "something you sit in" there are going to be situations where that isn't the case, and it's just an exception lol. Trans women are just an exception to the commonly understand definition of a woman,
That's why, when I give the definition, I say it as "an adult human being of the female gender." Because "female" can be used as either a sex or gender-based term. And since "woman" is an exclusively gender-based term, I specifically say "female gender." And then I have to lecture transphobes who say I'm full of sh!t to pay attention to how we use words in the English language and to actually learn English. Otherwise, your definition looks pretty good, so I'm going to have to write this down
I like to say woman) *a gender which is derived from the female sex* Some male born people transition to have more of the characteristics typically associated with the female sex. Therefore, they are women. And if they can't transition in any way, they may suffer dysphoria. They are valid
Just like all words ' woman ' is a descriptive concept. The understanding of what a woman is, is the unconscious agreement between mind and body and emotion that a person has that they are fitting their ideals of what a woman is. When you find no disagreement between the the three. Does that make sense?
Wouldn't you definition just be femininity on a social level? And if you define a woman as social femininity that would firstly: 1. Take away the fact that a woman is a person, a physical being based in reality and not an abstract concept. 2. Everything that delves more into the realm of feminity is now "woman". So therefore femine non-binary women, or feminine trans-men and feminine men. So no. This definition doesn't solve anything. You're basically saying that women are femininity which would throw gender ideology out the window as well as biology. Biology accepts that women can have little to no feminine social traits and still be women. Gender ideology also holds this to be true. (Since you can just say you're a woman and you are).
@@ryankramer8779 I think if you say "female gender" the people who are confused about the difference between sex, gender identity and gender expression will be even more confused. It's waaay more complex than this, but to make it simple we can say: (random person) identifies as a woman/man/non-binary (gender identity), while/despite being female/male/intersex at birth (sex), and expresses themselves in a feminine/masculine/androgynous way (gender expression).

@The Werewolf of Somalia “woman” is a category. Categories are abstract ideas we invented to group individual objects (in this case multicellular organisms) under a shared descriptive title. We invented the categories of men and women thousands of years before anyone had any idea what cells are. We invented them thousands of years before great philosophers proposed that sperm were complete tiny humans that would grow into a baby without any contribution from the mother beyond her use as an incubator. And in most cultures, we invented other genders too. In Sumeria five thousand years ago a hymn exclaimed, “to turn a man into a woman and a woman into a man are yours, Inanna!”, and a statue was found inscribed with the name of a “hermaphrodite of Inanna”. In Sicily 1600 years ago a Christian apologist wrote, almost incredulously, that the self-castrating galli “claim they are not men…they want to pass as women”. India’s hijra are also recorded in ancient writings, and still exist today as a group distinct from men and women, as do hundreds of other traditional genders around the world. Jewish tradition recognizes at least six named gender categories including a variety of intersex people. Woman has always, always, referred to a socially defined group of humans who are, to some degree, associated with female sex traits.
I can't get over how people can't recognize that they have to accept that their beliefs aren't always GOOD?! Your religion can be right for you and you can still be a bigot to other people because of it. Neither is less true here. If you care that much about being considered a bigot, then reconsider your beliefs.
There is no “disagreeing with homosexuality” jfc People are born the way they are, with their sexualities and genders. Religion is not something that you are born with, so no, it’s not the same. Like I wonder what his response is to white Christians who are racist. We gonna pull out the same “it’s my religious freedom to hate you for how you look” or what
All people are born sinners. We are here in life to learn to overcome sin and become perfect like Jesus Christ. No true Christian can be racist but must love all people regardless of race.
@@surferofthesynthwaves4710 We are born with animalistic desires that must be curbed by laws that were given to us by God. They were given to us in the Bible to develop the divine nature within humanity that is made in the image and likeness of God.
The one with the Muslim dad made me upset. No, you can't just teach your kids to be homophobic "because it's a sin in your religion". It is not. I'm a queer Muslim, there are plenty of queer Muslims, but our life is so hard, not because of our religion, but because of people like him.
Homophobia and religion is such a vicious cycle. Abrahamic religions are not inherently homophobic. Homophobic people _interpreted_ and _translated_ certain texts as anti-gay. So followers think “gay=sin” is the word of god and refuse to let go of that interpretation, so the religion remains homophobic. We KNOW the passages about homosexuality weren’t part of the original text bc that word didn’t even exist then.
They're pretty clear about their stance on homosexuality and it's not pretty. Also they don't need to use the word homosexuality directly to declare it's a sin.
@@woosyy actually, it’s not that straightforward. For example, the ancient Hebrew of the oft-quoted “a man shall not lie with another man” actually uses two different terms for “man.” The first one aligns with the ancient Greek term for an adult man of voting age and the second is the term for an underaged man. The hebrews viewed the greeks as barbaric, so some interpret this as a condemnation of the greek practice of pedastry. Even if the original writers of the Old Testament did believe homosexuality to be a sin, there are ways to interpret the text differently and be both religious and not homophobic.
The thing about the Muslim guy is that his understanding seems to be that homosexuality and being transgender is as much of a choice as the food you eat. When in actuality, its not a choice but rather the way a person is born.
@@Baker19911 Yeah, those things are choices. But being trans or homosexual are not choices. Regardless of the fact that transitioning or acting on homosexual desires are choices, this does not make those choices morally wrong. You do not choose to be lgbt, and choosing to act on it is not wrong.

In answer to Matt’s question What is a Woman? I sent him the following but he hasn't replied: What is a woman What is a woman? A woman is a human being. What is a man? A man is a human being. What makes up a human being? Perhaps many years ago the YMCA displayed it best with it’s tringle… Mind Body Spirit Therefore there are three parts of a human being. A mind, a body, and a spirit. The body does not control the mind and the body does not control the spirit. So in answer to Matt’s question what is a woman? If you are speaking of the body we all know the answer. But the body is only one third of a human being. The mind is more powerful than the body as it controls the body and causes it to act. The spirit or soul is the life of the body and the mind. Jesus tells us when we go to heaven we neither marry or are given in marriage. So the soul is neither a woman or a man. Therefore, though it is rare, a body of one gender can have the mind of the opposite gender. And which is more powerful? The answer is the mind. The mind is what causes a body to transition. So what is a woman? Or what is a man?The answer is the mind of the human being. Is it male or is it female?
The thing about most people when you even answer the question they just act like you didn't answer it and go "you woke snowflakes, facts don't care about your feelings" and then keep asking the same question over and over. Reminds me of an elderly man who intentionally forgets what his son said cuz he didn't like it
rubbish..a woman is female identified by her physical features which are distinctive and separate from a man..can be simplified to..male-penis female-vagina

Muslim speaking. Lemme answer themusliminquirer's question. And to any Muslim - and anyone else - who happens upon Samantha's video and see this comment, Assalaamu 'Alaikum (Translation: May the peace of God be upon you). The reason you are seen as a bigot in the eyes of the lgbt+ community is because raising your children on the belief that being non-hetero and non-cis is a sin (translation: Haraam) is because - like Samantha said - kids are learning about themselves, and if they find out they're lgbt themselves, that'll cause some serious crises, existentially and religiously. I can say this as someone who fairly recently found out I was bisexual and can't tell anyone except my brother. Hearing your own family not only say "lgbt is Haraam" but also insulting them, using slurs, dehumanizing them, saying that we shouldn't be friends with them, "who would want to marry a bisexual?" and things like that will cause some serious harm to queer people. And yes, all the stuff I listed out - especially that last quote - is stuff I heard from my parents. Imagine you have a trans child - who will most likely be in the closet considering the stuff you (not you, Samantha, "you" as in themusliminquirer and anyone else who agrees with him) say about them - hearing you say that they should just "struggle with their dysphoria" and that "it's all in their head and isn't that real" (again, stuff I've heard my parents say). That will cause serious mental harm on them. Or you saying that your children better walk and talk straight and stay in the closet because because coming out is a disgusting thing that is the downfall of America (again, stuff I've heard). That and other reasons are why we'd say you're being bigoted. As for the pork analogy, that's a false equivalency. Diets/food choices are not an innate part of who you are and eating/not eating something will not give you some existential crisis. Sexuality and gender are innate parts of the human being and not engaging in that, or demonizing that, will cause serious mental harm, as many statistics on lgbt people show. Now as for me, I'm currently in a battle between my sexuality and my religion. Or maybe not a "battle" per say, but it's tough af. It's even worse because it's not like I'm not Muslim but can't tell my parents. I like being Muslim, I still believe in my religion I was brought up in. I just can't reconcile my sexuality with it and it's saddening. In shaa Allah (God willing) I can work something out, but right now my brother's been a great help talking with me about it (I told him and he's chill about it). Some may ask "What's a Muslim doing watching Samantha Lux?" to which I say "Because she's awesome af, that's why". To Samantha, I hope you're doing well and good, same for your family and friends. 1 recommendation: maybe expand your content beyond reacting to transphobia? If it doesn't negatively affect you then ignore this, but I can't imagine habitually looking at this stuff to be good for you mentally. Not saying to not cover it at all because it's funny and your rebuttals are informative, but, y'know, maybe react to some happy, wholesome stuff too? Sorry for the long rant lol, had a lot to say. Cy'all. Edit: Forgot to mention this thing that I just remembered: I also wanna raise my future children to be Muslim as well, which would kinda mean I'd have to tell them this as well. Which sucks big time because what it my kids are lgbt? How will they feel about me if I tell them I'm bi? And this leads to marriage as well. Even though I like the opposite sex/gender, it still rubs me the wrong way that I can't really experience what it's like in a mlm relationship (particularly because I went most of my questioning on the fact of whether or not I'm bi based on my experience with men - which ik is wrong to do, but y'know). And I don't think it'd be fair to hide my sexuality from my wife, but I'm also scared to tell her that I'm bi for fear of divorce or something.
But raising your kids to believe being gay and trans is a sin just because it's a part of your religion only makes you a hypocrite and a bigot yourself. You become part of the problem. You should be honest with your future kids about being Bisexual and that it's not a sin and explain why you have to hide it from your family. If you raise them right they will understand.
@@WORDSANDBRUSHSTROKESSTUDIO as much I may agree with you I can't just say "it's not a sin". Because in Islam, acting on your non-heterosexuality is, in fact, a sin. The best I can do is show them that being out is a heck of a lot better than being in the closet, and they can make of that information as they will. You are particularly right though, in that I should be honest with my family.

If this guy were to just completely keep his thoughts and feelings to himself, never say a bad thing to or about gay people but view it that way cuz of his religion, it's still wrong but idc as long as u keep it to yourself and hurt no one. But as soon as u start spreading that to children it's absolutely despicable. Children usually view things in black and white. They think in good and bad. If you tell a kid gay people are bad they will learn to hate. Kids don't understand a middle ground and I don't think u can really teach them that. When I was little I'd hear about like kids not doing chores or something and say "Ohh that's bad." In conversations. If you teach your kid gays r bad/sinful and then they meet a gay kid at school, they'll probably tell the gay kid they're doing something wrong. Kids have no filter.

Everyone has a choice. It’s interesting that people use the bible to validate their personal prejudices. The bible listed certain things as sins but at the same time Jesus showed us more than once we are not clean enough of sin ourselves to judge the sins of others. In fact he upset religious scholars by unashamedly mixing with a prostitute and saving the life of an adulterer. There is no grounds to behave badly with anyone accept if they are directly attempting to harm you or if you are a bad person yourself
I completely get what you are saying but I do feel People often confuse giving loving advice with judging tho. For example if your sibling started to try meth would telling them that, that will lead to the destruction of their life, would that be judging or trying to save them because you love them? In other words what Jesus was teaching is everyone is worthy of being saved not just for this life but in the afterlife and as Christians aka just people that truly understand his words we should try to save people that come into our lives out of love.
@@richie9878 The bible offers an alternative should you do be seeking one. As creatures of free will it remains for us to have the desire to select the right path. Yes, exactly. Affirming it is the *only* way to properly deal with it. Your schizophrenia idea is just completely incorrect. If someone has schizophrenia, the go to a therapist & go to therapy, then (most likely) get put on med’s which can be a permanent solution or a temporary one. When it comes to being trans, the exact same steps apply outside of taking med’s. You go to therapy for months to a couple years, then your therapist will decide “oh you are trans”. There are no medicines that “cure” being trans, or help cope with it. The ONLY other way is through socially and / or medically transitioning. The thoughts wont go away, no matter what you do or say, and just like things like depression , schizophrenia ect ect, sometimes the only option / the best option dosnt work, but that dosnt mean you shouldn’t try it. Again, the ONLY way to deal with dysphoria is through therapy and then possibly social and / or medical transitioning. Going back to the schizophrenia thing, if someone with it went to the doctor, their doctor telling them “the voices you have been hearing arnt real” is Not the same as saying “your gender (which is a man made contruct) is valid” what so ever. Because trans people arnt suffering a delusion. Allowing a minor to cut their hair, wear different clothes and go by different pronouns is NOT the same as seeing things and hearing voices. Allowing a legal adult to wait on a list for months to years to get a surgery is NOT the same as seeing things and hearing voices. going to therapy about a man made construct and constantly being uncomfortable in your skin BECAUSE of said man made construct NOT the same as seeing things and hearing voices. You cant just let dysphoria “go away” because it wont. Ever. And THINKING that it does and telling trans people to just “suck it up” or whatever, is Genuinely like going to someone with severe depression and tell them “just be happy”. There is not “treating” it. Absolutely NOTHING you say can “treat” it, the ONLY way to properly deal with it is socially and / or medically transitioning. Thats it, thats all. gender affirming care includes counseling and anti depressant.
You call yourself a girl and yet you don’t have reproductive organs nor the chromosomes to be a women what a shame.

@@eternallustformedusa4844 wow this analogy is spot on!
My two cents… maybe three :)

Otherwise, your definition looks pretty good, so I'm going to have to write this down
I like to say woman) *a gender which is derived from the female sex*
Some male born people transition to have more of the characteristics typically associated with the female sex.
And if you define a woman as social femininity that would firstly:

@The Werewolf of Somalia Actually, yes it does. If you want to go further in-depth on it, you should’ve seen the insight given in her opening up video carefully worded out and researched in the comments.
@The Werewolf of Somalia A woman is typically an adult human female ... but is also anyone who identifies as a woman ... rather they are intersex, female, or trans MTF, or even some non-binary people (Genderfluid, demigirl, librafemanine, genderdoe etc)
@@lucy101 A woman is typically an adult human female ... but is also anyone who identifies as a woman ... rather they are intersex, female, or trans MTF, or even some non-binary people (Genderfluid, demigirl, librafemanine, genderdoe etc)

In answer to Matt’s question What is a Woman? I sent him the following but he hasn't replied:
What is a woman
What is a woman? A woman is a human being.
What is a man? A man is a human being.
What makes up a human being?
Perhaps many years ago the YMCA displayed it best with it’s tringle…
Mind
Body
Spirit
Therefore there are three parts of a human being.
Reminds me of an elderly man who intentionally forgets what his son said cuz he didn't like it
You just admitted that transgenderism is a religion
rubbish..a woman is female identified by her physical features which are distinctive and separate from a man..can be simplified to..male-penis female-vagina

Same goes for acting on your transness. I'm still Muslim and I'd like to raise Muslim children, so this is predicament I'm in.
The best I can do is show them that being out is a heck of a lot better than being in the closet, and they can make of that information as they will.

I absolutely LOVE Matt Walsh !!! He makes a lot of SENSE !
@Rick Wilkinson thank you !!! Exactly!
Maybe with some right wing drugs, probably
Is it just me or does anytime Matt Walsh speaks it hurts your head because you’re trying by to understand what he’s saying. Like it physically hurts my head. Matt is just so …💩Ew
Hum that’s not a good thing if you can’t understand simple facts and logic.
For example do you really not understand that someone’s Psychological state does not actually make you anything outside your biological state?
@@richie9878 That's not an example, that's just an ad hominem disguised as a way to teach something that technically isn't true. This form of psychological state has been proven to be a part of the biological state.
@@iceprincess135 let me ask you, do you think your physiological state has any bearing on the biological fact that you are a human? As in if you truly believe you are something outside of being a human and that identity is not a choice will that change you being a human? why or why not?
@@richie9878 what the fuck are you talking about

What does this have to do with gender??
@@richie9878 You're just being repetitive. I told you everything you need to know. If you can't accept it, that's on you.
But what is a woman? To say a dog is an animal with the animal identity of a dog does not answer the question.
A woman is anyone who identifies as the gender associated with the female sex. It's not that hard to grasp.
@@rhymerlegend2717 gender is a social construct based on cultural differences between men and women

I hear that "how many genders are there?" question a lot. In my opinion they mean sexes. I would still say two as I see gender as a spectrum not an either this or that, so I'd say there ARE cases where a person identifies as 100% male or 100% female, but I'd say most people are somewhere inbetween.
I know an intersex so even sex isn't all black and white or in this case I guess male and female, but everything else I do agree with
@@phoenixc7245 Yeah, I should have been more clear. There are actually 6 common sex chromosome "pairs" and they are just the common one's so there are a least six sexes. I had just meant that most cishet people only know of the "traditional" two.
@@markalexander3659 oh yes then I agree fully with you
In my opinion for gender when it refers to identity is that there are three distinct categories of gender, woman, man and agender (ik it's a lack of a gender identity but it's still included) while inbetween woman and man there is the non-binary spectrum which is an umbrella term for a whole range of identities.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
@@neon17.08 I believe you are correct
10:50 "when you try to put it onto other people" "teach this to children". arent trans doing the same? they dont know theyre a dog either until you introduce the idea to a kid. after giving your choices, you cannot say oh look hes picking a non binary, why dont you spin a wheel for it instead. a middle aged person can get paranoid by reading diseases related to 1 symptom but a kid can choose what they will be identified as for the majority of his life by majority of society. please please read this, and actually think of these repercussions. No one will point a finger at you if someones life gets destroyed. dont just let it be words that you spew here
8:48 He also is under the impression that being lgbt is a choice, which it isn't.
Everything is a choice that's why we have a mind to decide humans are complicated when they have no guidance they look for it in others instead of inside. gay is a choice just like being straight is a choice we are all sinners we all should repent cuz we are all lost but once he takes us there's won't be the worries of being gay or straight cuz we would be freed from sin and in a happy place
@@DevinaTaina Except over 114 years of studying sexuality and 90 years of studying gender has proven repeatedly that lgbt people are born who they are. So how do you treat gender dysphoria then? By affirming it? Isn't that like telling someone with schizophrenia that the voices in their head are real?
Scientists, biologists and health professionals have stated this COUNTLESS times. Yet you people seem to neglect it CONSTANTLY.

Why didn't you accept the interview with Matt Walsh?
@Crystal GuardianI came from an era where we met the enemy head on and while I am not a fan a Matt's his intellect is highly accelerated compared to hers and she knows it. She could have done the interview but she chose to hide. This generation is soft and fruity and can't handle an opinion outside of their own.
@Crystal Guardian never said delusional. Matt's video rebuttal towards her has close to 2 million views and the people outside of her echo chamber think that she is an idiot and she should have met the enemy to defend herself but she didn't anymore than she defends herself on these comments i see. If she wants to engage in social experiments like she did with the phone with random guys she should go to the actual transphobic places in this country and do a video on that but she is just content on putting on makeup and playing her hair crying victim when she could talk to actual victims.
@Crystal Guardian me personally, I think we should all have rights and treated equally but chose to pick a fight with a guy who's entire purpose is fighting what he considers the right way but Matt embarrassed her badly and i didn't want to see that but it happened.
@Crystal Guardian i think it's more bc she doesn't have an answer to "what's a woman" question.
@Crystal Guardian they are both bs. But Matt is by far much better at arguments and is more entertaining at times but I disagree with somethings he has said but at about 2 million views to her 100 hundred thousand or so. I just wish she didn't decide to go after him is what i was saying because people outside of this movement are destroying her in those comments and even on her own page.

homosexuality and being transgender is a choice..even if you have a struggle(which isnt a choice)..you have a choice to give in or resist and maintain what is normal
@@alexrattray8807 When did you make the conscious choice to be straight and cis (presumably)?
I hate the whole "what, so I can't say _____?" argument because: yes, you can. You're just going to get pushback now (hopefully). And that's GOOD. People want to be transphobic and homophobic without consequences, like the guy who was like "people tell me it's spreading hate to teach my children that being gay is a sin." Okay, and? They can't police the way you talk to your children but they can share what they believe. If having people dislike you because of your beliefs hurts your fee fees so much... DON'T BE HOMOPHOBIC
@Callisto I never said anything about punishment lol. But LGBTQ people do get shit on. Idk if you noticed the whole "LGBTQ teachers are gr••mers" saga, but legally, they can say those things.
