Also include a bit about yourself (name, age, where you live, how long you have been collecting), a bit about your gear, and information about your room (where in your home it is located, how you put it together, special considerations, cool features, etc).

For a 14 year old, that's a really solid listening space! Mine at 14 was much much much more modest (literally just an old record player, old receiver, old speakers in my bedroom!
Same here... my set up was not nearly as good when I was 14.
Once again, all of those music rooms had amazing gear, music collections, décor, and space planning reflective of the unique tastes of the individual owners. Very inspiring rooms indeed. :)
I agree. There were all great - each in their own way. I'm grateful to everyone who sent in pics.
Love the encouragement for youngsters Frank, brilliant. More awesome spaces 👏👏
Absolutely! We need more young people to get into records, physical media, collecting, etc,
Hey there Frank. I just wanted to say that I often re-watch older videos from your TH-cam channel’s catalog when I need to calm down. I have a really bad anxiety disorder and most of the time I manage by putting on headphones and listening to my favourite music during anxiety attacks but occasionally that doesn’t cut it. In those cases I find your videos calming and a good distraction to get back to equilibrium, your Friday night videos in particular. Love your channel and I look forward to early Friday evenings and mid Sunday afternoons. Thank you.
Thank you for watching - and for sharing your story. I'm glad to you find value in the videos.
Best wishes,
Frank
Vinyl Den
Sweet
Hey Frank a very cool video, enjoy seeing all of the vinyl dens around the world and the setups including the miniature scale one!
The Van Halen bar is definitely a very unique piece of work and perfect choice for a music den!
Take care! ~ Jeff
Thanks Jeff! Cheers man!
Generally, our houses are smaller than homes in the USA and we don't have garages as big as houses Hence washing Machines and Tumble Dryers go in the kitchen.
I am just reading the book wrote about Roy Gandy and his company Rega. When he started he made speakers and they were made out of Concrete. They were reasonably successful too.
Whilst talking about Rega. The parts to repair the Rega Brio for the dealers are becoming scarce as it looks like the current model is due to be replaced later this year or next year. Just a heads up should anyone be interested in purchasing.
Love seeing people's setups, especially those across the pond as they say.
Once again wearing my I owe money to Columbia House shirt. To a pet adoption. I got so many that's hysterical and we all do comments. Also came home with a second dog. Thanks Frank.
Ha! Glad to hear people dig that shirt!
Yeah! Cool stuff. I do love the mid century modern look!
Me too!
these are always so much fun to see! Wish I had a photo of my old room in the basement of my parent's house in Germany, had built large speakers, a Thorens record player, a Mission Cyrus II amp, some 300 records (still have all of them), CD player, tape deck, two stereo VCRs (so I could copy movies 😎), small color TV and even smaller b/w TV underneath, H. R. Giger and horror movie posters on the walls. And yes, most (if not all) houses in Germany have basements, often finished as extra gues/hobby/etc rooms, plus other rooms for food storage, laundry, etc. I sure wish my house here in California had one).
Nowadays my listening area just looks like any living room with TV and 5.1 surround, but I can't have Giger or monster posters on the walls anymore :-D I do have a small room that's a dedicated horror library/movie disks dungeon and art/guitar room. And sadly my old room in that basement was quickly turned into a guest room with all my great decorations (including a door size poster of the Alien monster breaking through the door) are long lost to history.
Hi Frank
Beautiful rooms. Great video as always. You rock as always and a true pro in this beautiful medium we call TH-cam and the Vinyl and CD community. Long live Channel 33.
Thank you so much, Tino.
I always enjoy the vinyl den videos. They are always amazing spaces. Cheers Frank ! 🙏
Glad you dig the vids. Cheers, Andy.
I always enjoy seeing other people's spaces. Sometimes I steal some inspiration from others. It's also nice seeing others just appreciating and encouraging rather than nit-picking like other platforms.
Wow that scale model music room is awesome ! ❤
Super impressive, for sure.
@@Channel33RPM - how do I send you the pictures of my music den ?
There is a description below the video.
Great video Frank! That mini listening room is the bomb!
Another great show Frank ! Just looking at how other people set up their music rooms is just brilliant. That miniature Hi-Fi room was just something else, with the fantastic detail and the tribute to the Maxell advert. That turntable from the german den was not from this planet..and slate speakers....WOW..Keep them coming frank coz these shows just rock !! keep on spinnin !!
I need to step up my game a bit, and send you some pix. Love the videos Frank!
Thanks - I find it fun to 'snoop' through people's rooms.
Always love the Vinyl Den episodes Frank-keep them coming! Not sure when you were in Toronto but there was a big Record Show in Etobicoke part of Toronto today (Sunday) wondered if you were able to attend. Prices seemed quite high but good variety.
I was there last Sunday to Tuesday... unfortunately I didn't have time to venture outside of the downtown, but I hit the usual suspects (Sonic Boom, Cops, etc).
All awesome! Thumbs Up! I must have the wrong friends! I have disarray, but killer sound. Pics when I get tidy. Nice job all!!
4:50 That hanging wall unit must be super heavy and makes me wonder how in the world it is staying up, but I do love it. That miniature threw me off because I automatically saw the next room like it was a miniature too. lol
Those miniatures were crazy!
Those were some amazing rooms. It's giving me lots of ideas. Awesome video 😊
Thank you!! 😊
Nice work Frank. I love your vinyl den videos and could happily watch hours of these ... gotta fill yah day when you're retired :)
Thanks 👍
I’m getting mine ready to send in!
I LOVE these videos 👍 ALL the rooms were excellent to I thought 😎 My Music/Games & Movies room is slowly getting there to :D & these photos give me more ideas to. Excellent stuff ;)
Ah yes!!! My favorite segment!! Another awesome one Frank!!
Great video, Frank. Vinyl Dens are one my favorite segments of the show! Thank you.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Always enjoyed the vinyl room shows.
Dig the Black Pumas LP, great album!
Pretty cool rooms!
These are my favorite videos Franko! Lots of great set ups!
Thanks bro!
Frank I really like VSS sleeves---inner and outer. I also need a good outer sleeve for my box sets. However, I need the measurements in inches. I am not smart enough to make the conversions from metric to inches.. Once that happens, I will be sleeving all my box sets. Enjoy watching your videos, Informative and humorous. Keep on spinning. MikeO
I usually just Google metric to imperial, and it works out pretty well. For example, 33 mm is 1.3 inches and 30 mm is 1.2 inches. We use a bit of both systems in Canada. Cheers!
If I ever buy another house, it WILL have a basement!
Loved that Dive bar room setup. Beautifully done.
I would love more info on that wee vinyl den. A contact to the guy who sent you this or a contact to the company ( or companies) who make this stuff. I love it. I wrote down RC model building and collectables as I watched the episode. I`ll start there and hope to hear from you . I`m a long time viewer of your channel . Keep on spinnin`
Hopefully he comments, but he told me he searches Etsy for miniatures.
I found some stuff on Etsy. Thanks
OCD Mikey carries the german fischer and fischer brand.
Hi Frank, just wanted to make a quick comment. I noticed that one person had an Ortofon 2m Blue cartridge on their TT. I have one as well. I had tried the Bronze, and it was good. But in the end, I went back to the Blue because I didn’t think the sound difference justified the whopping price difference (unlike the difference between the Red and the Blue, which is considerable and highly noticeable). Yes, I know it partially at least could be my setup, which is modest. But the Blue sounds good enough for my ears, and I recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a good cartridge that won’t break the bank!!!
Good info - thanks!
I wonder if the guy with the miniature vinyl den is a fan of Autechre. He has a placard in the room with their logo "ae". But I've never seen that design so maybe it's another artist/group besides Autechre. Anyway, great segment as always, Frank!
The AE sticker is a company "Team Associated" they build radio control cars. I will check out "Autechre".
ive only got lp60x and AZATOM EB100 powered speakers..happy enough right now..have just over 700 vinyls..since august last year pennys have been tight as i suffered 3 heart attacks..love to be able to get seperates and new speakers for better sound..one day if i win the lottery
Sorry to hear about your health issue... glad you are still rocking the records!
I would love to know how Scott got that EVH bar top. I’m redoing my bar and would love to do something similar to that!!!! 1:13
Paint and epoxy top. I painted first coat white, taped stripes and second coat black, taped again and 3rd coat red. 2 part epoxy top about 1/4 inch thick.
@@bloodsmokeandbeersbbq8741 did you paint over a plywood top? I've never tried to do something like this so any tips and tricks you have would be appreciated!
Always lots of amazing, cool looking rooms, but the last room shown is the only one I would want to do any serious listening. The room and its treatment is 50% of the sound. Speakers against walls with cabinets and TVs between them are soundstage killers. I get most people don't have the luxury to set up a system properly, but I also think most people have never heard a properly set up system in a properly treated room. They just don't know what they are missing.
12:46 - Do they make dice cartridges?
If you can’t decide between a REGA or technics just buy both 😅
Sorry, you need a new globe at the beginning -- one that at least, renders Canadian provinces in different colours, rather than in one colour.
Fair enough!
@@Channel33RPM. Most often though I very much enjoy your content, especially the viewer music room roundups. 😊
Some real people systems ….no EQ, some second hand stuff, badly placed speakers! It’s the music and nothing else
Germany basement aka hitler bunker🙃 im sorry...
