No one has any right to heckle him for his choice of equipment, if it makes him happy that is all that matters. Most of us 60+ record collectors would have started with a console BSR turntable equipped stereo system. I did. Everyone has to start somewhere
I totally agree. There should be no hifi snobs. If someone has a Crossley Turntable and it works for them its fine. Its all about people being happy with what they use and not a competition.
Even if it harms the vinyl? Nah, save up. Good gear isn't that expensive! Besides, you justify spending so much on the vinyl itself, yet listen on subpar gear set up so poorly when all it takes is a little bit of information on how to set it all up properly to get the best experience you can for your money and yet, you let your ignorant ego get in the way and your setup sounds a quarter as good as it could. Why?!! It's not a competition, it's just getting the best experience you can with what you have. Would you drive around on flat tires? Because that's what you're doing and claiming it's as good as an experience as driving a Ferrari.
Loving how you are doing all the music rooms. You tackle the average Joe that can afford a typical music set up and it really makes this super cool because it's down to earth. Thank you for these! Fan from Phoenix!
Another great video Frank I agree with you 100% it's not about what other people like it's what you like and that's the best thing you can say thank you for saying that you're a good guy and keep on spinning 😛🤘
Holy sh*t Frank - that first den was the holy grail !! bar, pool table music, cinema.. what more do you need in life !! Great to see a youngster (Ari) getting into vinyl as well. Love vinyl dens Frank... could watch for hours !! Kepp on Spinnin !!
Love when you do these man cave videos, Frank. So cool and fun and especially hearing the ages of the folks who create their spaces. Keep ‘em coming, my friend. -Glen
Thank you Frank for your excellent job. It is very entertaining and I also admire your attitude which is very benevolent towards those who submit their personnal experiences. Quite a nice mindset ! The first den you showed in this video is extra ordinary in the litteral meaning of the word. Please forgive any possible spelling artefact, due to my typing assistant stubornly working in French. 😅 Best regards. Pierre
Keep up the great work Frank i need to get my room finished and painted. Love these music room videos for sure. I have both of those blacklights your music den contributer has and many more, lol.
Some great rooms Frank. The room addition was amazing. Pool table and air hockey side by side didn't even fill it up!! Major props. I think I have the same Polk speakers as Norm in Vancouver. They sure look familiar. Thanks to all who shared their spaces. Greg
DCM speakers were a hot ticket in the mid 90's Stores Like Circuit City sold them, They had a few models and were know as "party" speakers much like Cerwin Vega
As always, great video Frank! Like Tom, I have a VERY small area for my listening pleasure. I actually share the room with my wife as it is mostly her office. Like Tom, I too have a Fluance RT-81 and a pair of Edifier powered speakers. With the small space, a receiver could possibly take up space. So, the RT-81 with the built in preamp works for me perfectly!
Love seeing the vinyl dens Frank. It's great having a nose around other people's kit that love the hobby. Happy listening to all, love from Scotland Jim🏴🙂
Hello Frank, great video......Interesting and varied systems. I agree with you on the point that it really does not matter what a person uses in their system so long as they like it. i would never criticize anyone's system no matter what my opinion was. Enjoy the music.
AMAZING :P Especially the first one :P (the rest are cool to) + that Atari 2600 is coming out again this week to :D It's called the Atari 2600+ & can play the old Carts to :P I will get that & add that to my Music/Film/Gaming/Bed :D room(all in one) Yep, I wish I had more space like the first one :D
Budget turntables certainly have their place. I think a lot of people are concerned with physical media leaving us soon. Hopefully that won't be the case. I love my CDs, DVDs, and books. Even BIBLES themselves are becoming more popular in E BOOK form. I actually have a DVD of the NEW TESTAMENT ✝ read by Johnny Cash.
Astounding! Talk about "living the dream..." Those DCM Time Frame speakers were very well thought-of in their day (circa 1988). They were preceded in the late '70s by DCM's Time Window line, which also picked up some rave reviews. I actually have a pair of Time Frames stashed somewhere in my garage. This inspires me to see if I can dig them out!
I once had a Bang & Olufsen turntable. The platter had an independent spring suspension system. The sad part is the springs gave up in under two years. So I had to move on to a Technics model.
I love looking at these vinyl dens. They’re amazing! I remember there being a Bang & Olufson shop in Manchester back in the 80s and 90s. I loved going in and looking at all the gear but no way could I ever afford it lol. I have my collection upstairs in a spare bedroom with my decks in the lounge so not really a dedicated listening space but who knows, maybe one day ! 😊
I love these videos with these music rooms. I currently own and live in a condominium so I am limited for space and have a small den with some of my CDs and an electric drum set but my dream is to own a house one day so I can have a basement to set up with a good stereo system, my drum sets and all my music (I have some of my CDs, but a lot of stuff is at my parents house). The way housing prices are currently in Ontario (Canada) though with the high interest rates in Canada, I think owning a home is a pipe dream. How are the housing prices out west where you live Frank?
Hi Frank! What kind of cartridge do you have on your Technics turntable? I'm ready to replace mine, which is still the original cartridge. Great episode! I'm going to submit mine soon!
in England we pronounce the word project with a soft O anyway. At least we did lol, as our kids become more internationally influenced I've noticed younger people pronouncing things in American ways without realizing they are doing so.
The way most of these people setup their gear, I just wonder how or why they even listen in the first place as their experience is so hindered! "I like it"... you'd like it a lot better if it was setup better!!! 100% AND, IT WOULD BE FREE!!!
Mad respect to the 12 Ari. I’m sure he will get heckled for his turntable but pay no attention to them. You have to start somewhere. Respect ✊
No one has any right to heckle him for his choice of equipment, if it makes him happy that is all that matters. Most of us 60+ record collectors would have started with a console BSR turntable equipped stereo system. I did. Everyone has to start somewhere
@@peterrech2307 unfortunately there are vinyl snobs out there
Thanks for including me Frank.
Shout out to ARI as that’s about the same age I started collecting…
Thanks for sending over your stuff! Cheers.
I totally agree. There should be no hifi snobs. If someone has a Crossley Turntable and it works for them its fine. Its all about people being happy with what they use and not a competition.
I am 100% on board with this.

Ari is killing it as such a young age.
I agree 100%.
Love that he has an Atari... That's fantastic
Satriani, Blue Murder, Star Wars … Mark, do you want a new friend from Grand Rapids?! I’ll bring the beer 🍺😆
Brian,
We do Music Nights here once a month. Grab a few of your favorite records and a 6 pack and come on over!
Mark's got good taste.
Hey Frank, thanks for another great Vinyl Dens video. You go to a lot of effort to make them happen. Thanks for the shout out👍👍
Thanks Virgil - I appreciate you allowing us to take a peek at your space.
Loving how you are doing all the music rooms. You tackle the average Joe that can afford a typical music set up and it really makes this super cool because it's down to earth. Thank you for these! Fan from Phoenix!
Thanks - I try to show a variety of rooms.

I loved this episode Frank. The variety of vinyl, gear, and more lets me know our passion is alive and kicking!!!
Very cool loft setup because it reminds me of a DJ booth being able to look out over the crowd below.
Keep up the great work Frank i need to get my room finished and painted. Love these music room videos for sure. I have both of those blacklights your music den contributer has and many more, lol.
Thanks! Those old black light posters were the best. \m/
Some great rooms Frank. The room addition was amazing. Pool table and air hockey side by side didn't even fill it up!! Major props. I think I have the same Polk speakers as Norm in Vancouver. They sure look familiar. Thanks to all who shared their spaces. Greg
Thanks for tuning in, Greg.
DCM speakers were a hot ticket in the mid 90's Stores Like Circuit City sold them, They had a few models and were know as "party" speakers much like Cerwin Vega
Cool... those speakers are new to me, so it's interesting to hear more about them.
Dcm speakers are awesome. I used to have the DCM KX212 towers. They had 2 12” speakers in each tower and they were freaking loud!!!
Cool rooms all, Frank. Especially that first one. If I ever get done with my studio/music room set up, I'll share it wit you for sure!
Yes, please do.
Wow! Thanks for sharing. I used to list to him a lot back in the day. Had NO idea about most of these new albums.
Awesome to see how different people approach their vinyl experiences. Total respect to them all! Impressive! Another great video Frank! ⚡️⚡️
Cool to see people being creative and enjoying their music🤘 all of them very cool in their own way
Everyone puts their own 'spin' on things ... very cool to see.
Dj Paul from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 I love your videos 📹 because I love music I have over 400 cds 💿 I love all styles of music radio dj ❤️

Such great collects. Ari is the future of the VC.
Absolutely - we need more kids in the VC!

Cheers Jim!
My favorite series as always!!!! Awesome man!!!

Enjoy the retro gaming! Atari is still the best.

Thanks for the info about the speakers.
Killer bro awesome Video
Thanks JC.
Wow! Did anyone catch the Lost in Space robot behind the bar?
Excellent episode with a fine variety of dens. Thank you, Frank!
Thanks Tom - hope all is well.
Some cozy looking places.
I agree... so many great spaces.
I once had a Bang & Olufsen turntable. The platter had an independent spring suspension system. The sad part is the springs gave up in under two years. So I had to move on to a Technics model.
That sucks... pretty short life space of 2 years.
I love looking at these vinyl dens. They’re amazing! I remember there being a Bang & Olufson shop in Manchester back in the 80s and 90s. The B&O stuff looks cool... 1980s futuristic design.
All the speakers are also B&O ❤
Shweeeeet I need a winning ticket... 😅 but stuff for family would come first.
Awesome rooms 😊👍
I agree. These are great rooms.
George needs bigger CD shelves!
I love these videos with these music rooms. Houses are still attainable here... but I am glad we got in many years ago. Just the interest rates now are silly. I hope you get your place some day.
Hi Frank! What kind of cartridge do you have on your Technics turntable? I'm ready to replace mine, which is still the original cartridge.
Great episode! I'm going to submit mine soon!
Lately I have been using an Ortofon Concord Elite which is A+. Lots of great options though.
No man has ever uttered the words, "I wish I would have got a smaller TV!"
Truth!
I don't quite understand speakers beside the turntable. How do you deal with feedback?
Low volume I suppose?
That first room is crazy good, but who on earth puts a turntable on on top of a speaker.
I assumed that turntable was not being used? Not sure.
I'm glad you like my room. That 2nd turntable is just on display right now. It goes on top of my rack when it's in use.
in England we pronounce the word project with a soft O anyway. At least we did lol, as our kids become more internationally influenced I've noticed younger people pronouncing things in American ways without realizing they are doing so.
It's becoming a smaller world..
Does Mark want to adopt me? I'm house trained and don't make much mess?
Haha... hope it works out for you!
Why do some people just stack their speakers right next to each other. Spread them out and fill the room with sound.
The room has little music.
You had an Alexa as a kid Frank? Have you been time traveling or just trippin' balls?
Haha... nope. You misheard what I said.
The way most of these people setup their gear, I just wonder how or why they even listen in the first place as their experience is so hindered!
"I like it"... you'd like it a lot better if it was setup better!!! 100%
AND, IT WOULD BE FREE!!!
