    I do meditation every day, but could not sit in Padmasana for more than a few seconds with great difficulty. With your instructions I tried today for the first time and I could do it for around 35 minutes without any difficulty. It is almost like a miracle I experienced today. Thank you so much PrashantJ. Please continue the work you are doing. Inspired by this I am starting a Yoga again. Thank you once again.

    • @ShaneIsAlways
      @ShaneIsAlways ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dan, any update you can share? If the gross body will not cooperate for various reasons and despite your best efforts, then perhaps consider finding other asanas that are more suitable - - even just one asana is sufficient, whatever that may be. Don’t injure yourself when there are other asanas more presently suitable. You may find that working with one or more other asanas over time will allow you to revisit the lotus and open it with satisfaction, at which point you will realize it is itself simply one of many that can serve with utility the satisfaction which you were seeking.

    why some people immediately wanted to execute padmasana when they were still beginners or in sophomore stage. .padmasana is the peak of all yoga postures. .before entertaining to execute it, one has to practice first and be familiar with the introductory and lower forms of asanas. .and progressed onward. . . . .lotus posture alone without meditation doesnt consitute yoga. .even in sidhasana posture as long as one experienced the blissful state of meditation that's true yoga. .the ultimate goal. .

I always thought it was supposed to be painful, in which I used it (the incorrect version: entry/during/exit) as a next level difficulty to test my fortitude or to force myself into my mind (sanctuary) immediately during meditation before I become aware of the pain.

    If you read this, no matter where you are on this planet, I wish you a wonderful day or night and a happy peaceful life where all your dreams come true. Right now, there are many people around the world just like you. They're lonely, they're missing someone, they're stressed, they're hurt, they have scars from the past, they have personal problems that no one knows about, they have secrets that you won't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I am writing these words to you so you don't feel lonely anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, just focus on today. If today isn't so great, don't worry! Tomorrow is a new opportunity. Praying for everyone to quickly fall asleep and have a peaceful sleep. Wishing you all wake up happy and well rested❤❤❤❤❤❤

    I've been able to do this pose for decades until I started have knee issues. I followed these instructions today, was eventually able to do it, and my knees feel better than when I started.

    Wonderful!! Thanks so much for detailed video and telling us what wrong we are doing!! Most of us do the same mistakes you have mentioned even though Padmasana is done in the last set as per Ashtanga practice. Thanks once again 🙏🏻🙏🏻

    Hi. I just found your channel. I find it great that you explain how to do it. So far I got frustrated with people just saying "do this and that pose" without caring about the customers not knowing how to do it.
    Thank you so much. I subscribed and I am excited to learn more. Best regards, Lior
