The radiators weren't even that bad. If Hammond took that for a lap again it would probably get hot again. Should've went for larger radiators and coolers
I understand the whole keeping it original argument. But at the end of the day it has an M3's transmission in it, so that argument is thrown out of the window. Now it's about keeping that V10 cool and happy, and that's MUCH more important than keeping an unoriginal car original
@@BigHumz155 There is simply no need for aftermarket parts. The original parts are more than capable of keeping the car in its ideal temperature range under ANY conditions. I like BMW's but they are an absolute pain to work on if you don't have all the right tools. You can tell they were designed for production line efficiency and not ease of maintenance, both on the cars and motorbikes. You have to take half the vehicle apart if you have to get something that is behind a body panel, which is really frustrating. Changing the headlights on certain models means taking he entire front end off. Their engine management software and other electronics are also cumbersome if you don't have the computer to fix it all. Such a shame, because they're often great cars (depending on the model) It is great to see a pro work on one though, Dara knows them inside out and makes it look so easy! Lots of respect for this man and his dedication.
A lot of BMW are the exact opposite of this, meanwhile there are far more mundane cars that are a service nightmare. Notoriously a maintenance disaster.
