I’m 35 weeks this coming Saturday and I’m hoping I don’t go over my due date. I have a huge fear of this. And really don’t want to get induced.

Did you ever get the answer to your food question? Lol. The brown stuff you had your fork in are fish cakes. Next to it was bean sprouts. Bulgogi is traditionally sweetened with pear juice. I LOVE Korean food.

I’ve been drinking this tea for like 3 days now 😭 I’ll be 40 weeks Friday, today is Sunday. I feel some cramping but that’s it. I’m so tired of bein pregnant lol I’ve tried everythinggggg
It helps labor go smoother & faster, not induce it unfortunately. Try pineapple if you haven’t already. Good luck mama!

I’ve tried it all home techniques (raspberry leaves lots of different exercises sex meditation and nothing worked. Not even medical induction at 41 weeks. Needed c-section.
I'm glad all my kids came on their own. Induction seems like a long dreadful process.. I'm hoping to start dilating with this baby as well. No consumptions of any remedies. Just staying active an squats literally up until birth. Water never broke but back contractions set in quick and out the blue!
Yea I would definitely prefer them coming on their own but when you hit that last month....we sometimes become impatient. Lol!

39 weeks and 3 days and only 1 cm. With my son I was less than a cm up until I went into labor lol. I’d be very happy with 3cm right now ! I have also been drinking red raspberry leaf tea everyday for like 3 weeks. I did it with my son and I do think it helped me have a super quick delivery although my labor was like 20 hours

If this was Dr.Naik, we had the same doctor and when I tell you it was a horror story?! I lost my baby girl at 37 weeks, she was perfectly healthy. The doctor missed all of the signs of my severe preeclampsia and I had a placental abruption. But I wish I would’ve been able to try all of these things! Congratulations mama!

Omg… what a coincidence that I found this video! That’s definitely Dr. Naik’s office. I agree that the entire experience I had with this facility and the entire company was a total nightmare! I couldn’t even begin to describe to you how fast my heart dropped and my stomach turned when I saw her driving up the hill because I knew exactly where she was. A lot of things were done without my consent. I am traumatized by them. I had a horrible experience, to say the least, with Dr. Naik my first pregnancy. She spends less than 5 minutes with you and is very obnoxious. It comes off as rude… If she would spend more time with her patients and less time eating and laughing with the staff, she would be okay with me! But she gets ZERO stars! I would not recommend her to anyone. For some weird reason Dr. Naik is always “on vacation” or “out of the country” when your due date comes around and I guess uses that as an excuse to schedule an induction (instead of just saying I want to induce you). I’m due any day now with baby #2 and have enjoyed every step with another provider but I’m praying for you young lady. No mother deserves to go through that.
They was going induced me but nope my.contractions was coming left to right I went natural no meds it was bitter sweet moment though babygirl came healthy and was alright she 1 now I wish time can go back to her being newborn

FYI raspberry leaf doesn’t induce labour, it helps tone the uterus :) dates are meant to help induce tho

True. The baby will come when he or she is ready. There are thing we can do to help promote labor but non are guaranteed.

I feel like moms think they have to be induced. 40 weeks is full on pregnancy. If a doctor says let's schedule you at 39 weeks tell them no of you want to go complete full term. People are always induced before due date for no reason. (This is not for those who have a medical reasons)
I completely agree. I keep getting worried when I hear these ladies wanting to induce labor before 40 weeks. There is still so much growing for the baby to go through especially when it comes to brain development. 3-39 weeks the baby still needs some time before making his debut.
Due date is also and ESTIMATED GUESS. if the mom seems prepared and the doctor says baby is good it’s their decision and their decision only

With my 1st, i drank raspberry leaf tea, i had no big issues, i bounced on the yoga ball, i did squats, i did hypnosis. I did everything. She was 8 days late. Lol im now 38 weeks n 2 days with my 2nd girl n have a fractured rib. Things are gonna be fuuuuuuun!

I’ve tried all the techniques possibles for 2 of my kids. Raspberry leaves tea every day for 2 weeks, yoga ball for 20-60 min a day, fast walk every day, running up and down the stairs, hypnobirth meditación, pineapple and nothing. Both of my kids were late and had to be operated by c-section so it’s either me of none of those things work
Everyone one is different. The babies just weren’t ready. But I wish you the best! 💕

Were you feeling any pain or contractions before your doctors appointment at 38 weeks?
No contractions or very noticeable pain. When at work and walking up and down the halls, I would feel a little cramp feeling but thats about it.

I'm 37 and 3 and I was officially told I can attempt bc I have contractions periodically really really bad so I been deemed early labor at 36 and 5 days . Fingers crossed I'm pumping now and he is kicking more than usual!

I'm high risks only because of my age (40) I'm terrified because my daughter is 24 so it's been that long since I have had a baby. Now I am having a boy hopefully, the doc recommend a c section but I had a natural birth with my daughter and was hoping that I wld have another naturally. I'm due in 2.5 weeks. Nov 22. I've been done since the second trimester. This is my first child. I've always heard that pregnancy gets smooth at a certain time. but clearly not for everyone. Me too I'm six months rn and I'm so sick of this whole mess I can never get any sleep and it's so hard to breathe
You usually need a medical reason to be induced.. but I have heard of doctors inducing for convenience purposes (maybe they'll be out of town, etc etc). Inductions are also more associated with complications. That's why most doctors will let you go into labor naturally until 42 weeks.

Damaris Martinez First time mom so it was very painful, contractions for 2 days but dilated fast thank god 🙏 12 hours in real labor pushed her out in less then 30 Mins. Drink a lot of pure leaf tea !

Were you dilated or effaced at all before you did this? Trying to see if it would work if you weren't.
I was 3cm and about 50% effaced during this time.
38 weeks 6 days, I decided to take Castor Oil around 12:30 & (3 hours later) having diarrhea & some low back discomfort. Hopefully that means it’s working! ❤️❤️

Raspberry leaf tea doesn’t induce labour, it helps soften the cervix and can help speed up the second stage of labour which is why I’d still recommend to drink it, also it’s recommended you start drinking it from 32 weeks☺️

I’m currently 30 and 4. Went to labor and delivery because I thought my water was leaking and found out I am 2cm but my water bag is fine. Currently on bed rest rest. I’m praying baby girl stays put, we are not due until DECEMBER!

I did this to my mother I tried to come out at 30 weeks, she was on bed rest and I came out at 34 weeks but I am completely okay I mean I’m 23 now. Just stay rested and don’t stress too much! 💜💜 good luck to you

@@shristib I finally went into labor the morning I was to be induced. I still ended up with a cesarean, baby was just stubborn🤦🏽♀️7 births and that was my first cesarean. He arrived after 41 weeks 5 days on 2.28.22, 7lbs 4oz, 23 inches long. I pray everything went well on your end😊

You don’t feel any pain with the epidural, only pressure from knowing something is there but no pain. At least not for me.

Hi, why did they schedule an induction before 40 weeks? I’m pregnant with my first and just a bit curious why and when they decide to induce.
Because I had a healthy pregnancy throughout and was dilating. I was also goven tbe choice because my doctor would possibly be out of town on my DD
Some OBs will give you the choice for an elective induction- an induction at 39 weeks without any having to have a medical reason for it. I’m 37 weeks and will be induced at 39 weeks as well. I guess it isn’t depends on your doctor!
Yes some doctors give you a choice to induce at 39 weeks. I didn’t have that choice my first pregnancy & went over 1 of the 2 DDs I was given, but I do have a choice this go round.
Some cases when the pregnancy is high risk as well.... as in my case... I developed gestational diabetes at 33 weeks. If baby girl doesn't come this week I will be induced next week @39 weeks.

I’m 38 weeks and I am wondering what I can try to get dilated before my doctors appointment. Does the raspberry tea help? Any advice or tips on how to dilate before I see the doctor?

it’s a common misconception but raspberry leaf tea doesn’t “induce” labor it’s simply to help strengthen your uterus so labor is faster and it reduces the labor pains. it can cause contractions tho sometimes which is why people think it causes labor

Did you drink red raspberry leaf tea most of your pregnancy? What excersizes do you do on the yoga ball?
I actually only drank it for about two weeks. And I walked and bounced on my medicine ball a lot.

Congratulations you're almost at the end! If you have already tried the methods mentioned in the video....I would only recommend walking at this point. I wouldn't do anything too dramatic.

Im 39.1 but they already schedule an induction for 9 days after 40.. this has been the toughtest pregnancy i cant wait anymore.. i have been getting a lot of pain and BH contractions but had my check up today and doc said she believe 1cm.. 😭 im trying to get this going.. just order some rasberry tea and one of those balls.. gonna try to walk. If anyone has more tricks share please

5:49am on my due date🙄 been on my ball since about 9pm last night so I’m going drink some tea and do my ball exercise hopefully something happens I have had contractions so let’s see

I worked for a tea company once and that tea doesn’t always work . But don’t sleep on pineapple or castor oil with some fruit juice 😏
I don't know if it helped or if it was just my body naturally doing it's thing. Lol
