- Namaste, BYD in India is now selling their 3rd product. Yes, that is more active product portfolio than Nissan in India.
But BYD, being an electric-only manufacturer, launched its electric Sedan Seal recently. Technically, there is no rival to it, but this one actually takes on cars like BMW i4 in terms of Body type and IONIQ 5 when you look at the price.

As an eclectic automotive engineer, I've done a course on aluminum silicate batteries. I'm legitimately impressed with them. BYD has used this type of battery in both new generations and past versions, which makes it much better. We should appreciate it 🙌.

Indian cars can catch up but need to urgently improve quality control and after sales service.

Gagan bhai is doing his work with utmost honesty.. his work is to show different segment of cars with their pros and cons.. It’s your wish to buy or not to buy.. Even if you hate China make sure to get deep into their product and find out better way to manufacture it then only you can beat them.. Boycotting product will not make Indian products better.. but getting foreign competition will surely make them better

If you think they have not copied from Tesla then you are gravely mistaken, their fighter planes are also copied (what ever they can and are still increasing pirated content from US and Russia). We are already loosing enormous data through their smartphones now this smartphone on a wheel and actual hazard on the Indian roads.

Yaa, and so would be the passengers sitting in a BYD car after an accident, Chinese car's build quality is trash, be it BYD, Kia or any other, they try to make up for all this by giving all these features and attract customers but these won't save your life and Chinese import has been increasing steadily which is not good, they keep dumping inferior quality products in our country. And also, Tata is Tata!

Who ever buys it beware, they don't have a proper battery rating, body is made of useless alloys of metals and they burn while charging, driving, resting unpredictable watch chinese videos of it burning. these cars in china are in inventories as people kept away from it, if you want to invest 41 lakhs in moving murderous car be my guest instead go for tata EV small,safe looks great and around 15 lakhs. phones, tvs, all cheap electronics ok but cars a big no don't be fooled by outside design and looks, ask them to jump on hood before buying it as demo see what happens to it dent before demo, i jumped on kia its perfect they made it stronger
