Indian Govt should make a program in such a way that all petrol pumps must have atleast 2 EV charging stations 1. fast and 2. normal charging speeds. This will eliminate the range anxiety . If one can find EV charging stations every 100 Kms range doesnt matter much , Next generation of battery tehcnology will easily crack 1000Km range and improve charging speeds .

Agree if that happens then BYD will be the market leader. They'll capture the Indian market forever. Nobody will come close. Hence the government's perspective is also fair that they want to create a indigenous network and create an ecosystem boosting our economy.

500 km range at 100km speed is insane. That shows how efficient the car is. In city it would drive way more for sure. At last India has world class EV at good price. Hopefully we will see more of it. There is SUV version Seal U or Sea Lion that should hopefully address ground clearance issues and also cheaper hatchback Seagull. I would think rest of the auto OEM better step up their game and Tata/Mahindra also put out world class EVs.
True, I own byd atto3 for over 15 months now and constantly getting around 400 km range even with no EV consious driving, BYD cars are really efficient and offer value for money too
How does efficiency is measured by range? Higher the battery pack more is the range. Actual efficiency should be measured by range per kWh of power. That is if it gives 600 km range with 82 kWh battery than it would be about 7.2 kms per kWh, which same for most current cars including Tesla and other US brands.
In the city it will give more than 650 km range. I am saying from tiago ev experience.

Tata need to to start with setting up a blade batteries in their cars. The traditional batteries it has lags performance and charging hold in them. Easily gets over heat and sets on 🔥 .
Available in china in 18lakhs, I wish gov of India helps with manufacturing it here to reduce the price atleast 30%

The biggest issue for EV is the resale value of the car. If you have couple of vehicles and u don't want to sell it in future.... Then EV is fine. However EV is not that eco friendly as it is projected. So the overall CO2 footprint is same or maybe higher in terms of EV vehicles. There will be one time when we need to even deal with a huge battery waste management problem
Impressive car, but understand.....no influencer is doing proper end test which we may face few times, do or die situation.
If these people do test until car runs absolutely dry we can atleast be rest assured of our emergency situation.

500 kms is awesome...practically one will take rest every 250-350kms and csn do a 1hr charge and this one will run for another 400 kms more.

Excellent video man.. you truly know how to do a range test, and dare I say only one in the Indian scene to do so. I test drove the vehicle two weeks back, the performance is just insane, and you are correct, ADAS does hinder us when weaving through traffic.
I would suggest that you do a charge test after you return the car, just to show people what time it is going to complete when charging on a high speed charger. This car supports 150kw charging, would be done in less than 30 minutes for full charge.
This company is highly subsidised in china and had chinese govt financial support . they will do the same tactics like chinese phone sell at a loss till you get market share and then increase price.

At this time....BYD or Tesla may not be successful in India.....Nexon EV or XUV 400 are not selling in high number which are priced at much lower price of 15 lakhs around....so dont expect 50-60 lakhs EV cars to sell in high number.....Truth is Indian car market is not fully ready for EV cars....

भाई चाइना हम इतने बड़े-बड़े बंदे नहीं होता इसलिए उसे हिसाब से गाड़ी बनी है। इसलिए AC का कंट्रोल उसी में साइड में कोने में दिया हुआ है। स्टेरिंग इसलिए छोटी है कि वो लोग इतने बड़े है नहीं। इस स्टेरिंग के बीच में से उनको सामने की स्कीम देखनी है। 6 फीट 1 इंच का बंदा बैठेगा तो उसके सिर में तो लग ही जाएगा।
