I think tata is taking too much time to launch curv in petrol since coupe is kind of new segment for large number of buyers so tata should launch all its varient before the launch of mahindra thar and basault in this way tata can capture maximum Market in mid suv segment as coming on to design its very and everyone know how safe is tata cars which is a plus point, and I will recommend you Motoroctane team that tata curvv launch date might be announced on your platform first since your work is excellent. Tata Haters as usual will declare it a flop even before launch just like they declared Punch, Altroz, Harrier, Nexon as flops before launch......but the thing is these turned out to be super hit. As Tata continues to improve day by day, the haters will become even more frustrated than ever.....
It's not just or always haters. Tata has one of the worst reliability ratings. Mahindra is unreliable as well but not as bad as Tata. Tata doesn't even provide AWD in Harrier/Safari or a petrol engine which is necessity for most people in India, especially Delhi.

Tata's biggest haters are previous owners...while Tata's biggest fanbois are ones who never owned one.
Engine reliability, tons of vids where brand new cars breaking within a week of delivery. Reliability in working of infotainment, gearbox and many features. Mahindra also has that, but Tata has even more. The most famous vid by Arun Panwar of the roof leak, dude see that video again, the window was slightly open and u check that Arun Panwar guy he always says, this is not good, that' snot good, in every single car he sees. Mahindra is still comparatively better.

1.5 TGDI would be part of harrier/safari as BS7 will most likely kill Diesel cars. A 1.2 TGDI 4 cylinder is enough to pull this car in my opinion.
Edit: 1.2 litre is a 3 cylinder engine. Sucks!

It is really amazing when people talk about cars they talk about features, are you buying a phone or a car ? for me the most important aspect is the way the car drives and performs, buying a car means performance, safety, comfort and looks.
So basically… If you buy this.. u will be getting safety….. but thats it… performanve wont be there if its a same engine as nexon, looks are subjective… nexon looks like a frog to me, comfort may be there..
If you buy phone or a car or any other gadget features are always important. It doesn't mean that People don't look at the basic things first, but once those basic boxes are ticked, people want to have feature rich cars.
This is what car automotive has come to in India, brochure reading and flaunting useless features, just as you said like a smartphone.
Do you live in some foreign country? In India most of the roads wont allow you to go above 40, paying extra and buying a high performance 200 bhp engine to go 40 kmph 90 percent of the time is like throwing cash in the gutter. Most important is comfort and safety and sheet metal thickness to prevent dings from bikes and autos.......those who will tick the above boxes are selling like hot cakes

भाई टाटा टेलीसर्विसेस लॉस में जा रही हैं, टाटा कभी भी इस कंपनी को बंद कर सकता हैं। बीएसएनएल में एमटीएनएल को मर्ज करके एक ही टेलीकॉम कंपनी बनाकर उसे नए प्लेयर को सेल करना बेहतर होगा। पुराने प्लेयर्स को इससे दूर रखना चाहिए, तब कंपीटेशन बनेगा और टेलीकॉम सर्विस बेहतर बनकर सस्ता भी होगा।

09:20 I have Nexon, and agar piche koi baitha hai Toh Hi Warning deta hai. Empty seats pe warning nahi deta. Sensors lagey hai. Aur Instrument Cluster me bhi seat red color batata hai agar koi baitha ho aur belt na lagayi ho. Curvv Mei bhi aise hi hoga.
Booked 3X0 AX5L but interested in Curvv too. The launch date and delivery will matter most. Can't wait 6 months.

Tata's initiative to develop a coupe-style SUV is appreciable. My choice is a boxy SUV though, cause it becomes practical and spacious, and a muscular-looking SUV. Tata provides a wide range of distinct car variants in terms of various engine options including EV variants, and that too is a smart move to cover all sorts of perspectives. I was surprised to know the fact that the Indian car market for EVs is very poor. Indians need to think about Evs very seriously for the sake of the environment.
What else could they have done.... Curvv is just a Longer Nexon... they've just added a longer backside to it

This kind of Vehicles are called Coupe which is a sub family of SUV.
Personally, I love coupe. Hence BMW X6 is my fav❤. Coupe looks like a mixture of SUV and Sedan.

Saw this car drive testing on Atal setu few days back. It was covered all over like a camouflage but i recognised its body style which was similar to current tata nexon but with coupe like sweeping roofline at the back and had decent ground clearance as well.

I was soo hell confused btwn elevate & nexon. Was gng for elevate for its bold look, space and adas ( though least interested in adas). And nexon for its build quality obviously. But now I will wait for curv and I think tht I might go for curv.
I think, as the prices of cars have been hiked very much. For commercial purposes, like for taxi , electric cars would be very feasible and good option spclly compact cars like tata tiago , tigor. Bcs price difference between electric car and octane cars have been reduced very much so drivers can save money on fuels.

Lets talk more about driving dynamics, handling, performance, ride comfort - bumps handling etc.... once it is in market. People are ready to spend on real values provided. I wish Indian car makers try to match Japanese and German standards. i want to buy this car. But hesitant seeing reliability history. Gonna wait for 6 months and look for failures happening and then decide. I cant bear service compromises, so hard to decide.
