If they had linked the wheel to the front casters instead of the rears (similar to the Cub Cadet slope beast ZTR with steering wheel), it would have been better in my opinion. You would get steering wheel control (for the non lapbar loving crowd) AND crazy good slope performance all in one package. I'll stick with my lapbar version of the Z6. Absolutely love that control at my hands vs having to steer and control forward/reverse independently with different controls

I am still debating between this and their lawn tractor. I am disappointed that the lawn tractor comes only with 6ah batteries, vs the 12ah that comes on these.

How does it go on slopes?

Pretty much same as the lapbar model. They both have basically same weight and COG and the caster wheels of both are freewheeling. Until we have a ZTR with steerable casters (or casters intelligently linked to turn in congruence with the rears) ZTRs will not do as well on slopes with the free wheeling front casters.
With that said, I get very good slope performance on my lapbar Z6 by shifting the largest batteries to the back, lowering the tire pressure and several seasons of learning how to better control the machine on slopes.

@@eighties8What slope degrees are you working with?
A good portion of my backyard is at a 12-15 degree slope which I realize is the safety limit but I'm mostly concerned about impact on range.
      Appreciate your other experience feedback.
