Ego E-Steer. Z-Turn Mowing Made Simple.

Ego with the E Steer Z-Turn Mower have made Z-Turn mowing simple for the masses.
This mower has been highly anticipated and recently has been requested more than any other mower to review.
The E-Steer concept from Ego might seem like a gimmick but it is actually well executed and very intuitive to use. This would appeal to many in the residential space that are looking for their first venture into Z-Turn (Zero Turn) ride on mowing and would suit people with large areas of lawn.
This mower will handle any type of lawn and the quick go I had with it on wet Couch (Bermuda) and Kikuyu shows that it would be able to handle any lawn situation.
Ego state it is a 22HP equivalent and the brushless motors do their job effortlessly whilst leaving a great result.
Maintenance is now very simple. Simply a quick blow (Hey use one of the batteries in the mower and put it on your Ego blower) over the mower, a wipe down with a damp cloth after a mow and you're done. Grease the front wheel bearing every so often and sharpen and replace your blade as you want or need. No more fusses with petrol, not servicing belt, filters, oil changes etc.. Battery power certainly has many advantages plus it is quiet and emission free.
The package coming with 4 x 12Ah batteries promises mowing a 2.5 Acre area and charging from nothing to full takes about 2.5 hours. Although I didn't have the mower long enough to put a true test to those claims - for the amount of use and charging I did the claims would seem reasonable.
Battery power tools are really making their mark in the domestic scene with good reason and Ego are a leader in the area.
