I've been doing disassembly and assembly with everything from fine instruments to oil field equipment and never "pick up a hammer" to force anything (and am very good at keeping calm and focused) but putting in the probe retaining screw like to kicked my ass. I just couldn't get the threads to start!!!! I finally used cardboard pieces and rubber bands to shim and hold the cocking handle out a bit so it was directly under the access port and even it was difficult to engage the threads. THEN I had to take it out again to adjust the pin length. I did finally get it in but it took me almost 45 minutes.

On the .25 sleeve there is a flat side and a beveled side, I didn’t hear it mentioned, but the beveled side points forward and the flat side is towards the back so it’s flush with the probe. Good video as always!!
Maybe thats why flat and beveled.

Ernest, two points, One, when fitting the slug kit, there are two positions for the barrel to be fitted against, one is marked with an S the other with a P (slug or pellet), second point, I did not notice you applying any of the special grease to the new parts or the small bearing in the hammer adjuster to keep it from falling out during reconstruction. ! .
Was there any response from Ernest as to which position the barrel should be in after it's reinserted?

is there anything stopping me fitting a maverick plenum on a Wildcat mk3 and then fitting my air tub eon the end instead of the bottle adapter?

Ernest i received two sleeves and 2 o rings in my Maverick slug power kit for my .25 cal. Is the o ring a spare? The other sleeve seems too big for the .25 cal barrel. How can I tell which to use?

Hi Ernest, i have a MAVERICK sniper on .22, all perfect until now, when ever o shoot now, a massive air flow hits my face and wont go truth the barrel, checked valves and oring, and even lubed them and the problem is still there, any idea what it can be? Thanks alot!!
You would think for the price these rifles are sold for that the pellet probe screws would actually fit through the pellet probe without having to drill the pellet probe screw hole out. I thought that maybe I got a bad one. But after browsing the web it seems like it's common for them to be out of spec. And if you do buy one be sure to chamfer the hole and debur it after drilling it out.

Hi brother, I messed up the power wheel number on my .25 cal Maverick. The number 1-7 is not in order so how do I set it up so it will go back to it's order 1-7. Now Now number 3 is the most powerful number. Number 7 is the least power now.

Can I shoot slug without putting slug kit? If I don't put slug kit but shoot slug what happens to my gun?
I installed my kit just like this and now my maverick is shooting ALL OVER THE PLACE LIKE 15 inches in any direction.

I installed the slug power kit on my Maverick and noticed that the carbine was weaker than the original.
Did you exchange the original spring of the hammer for another one?
When watching your video, I noticed that I installed the hammer backwards, I positioned the spring in front and the thickest part of the hammer in the back, and in the video you installed the reverse, does that have any influence?

Yes it has a VERY big influence. If you haven't destroyed your hammer/valve yet, put it together the correct way and you should be 10-20fps faster.
Pro tip: When disassembling things pay close attention / make photos of how it's originally assembled. You won't make such a rookie mistake anymore. ;-)

@@bigearl8687 Had the 30 cal Maverick Sniper and did all the mods pin probe and transfer port and cabon fiber barrel wrap and then the MK3 came out. 🙄
Purchased the 357 Western RATTLER.

I'm a brand new FX wildcat mk3 sniper shooter the slug power kit installed went easy and the power levels are insane 😎
but there are things I would like to change about the wildcat stock like the butpad shoulder piece I would like to upgrade it and fit a monopod at the side back off it there is nothing on the market for the wildcat mk3 sniper and I would like to have an 800mm barrel kit for it to bring it up a level that would be nice is there anything you guys can do to fill up the market because it's a big missing in the market

Question: in the barrel for Slug it must set S in the top or P in the low position?
To shoot slugs you have to put P on the top. The letter you don't see is the letter you will shoot 😉

The .30cal Mavericks already have the heavy hammer and spring for slugs along with the slug barrel (at least the Sniper does)...the .22 & .25 cal rifle 'slug kits' provide the .30cal hammer and spring along with adjustable probe for .22 & .25

I’ve got it at 945 with hybrids. I’m satisfied, but just was wondering what the deal was and why it’s not available for the 30. I didn’t go super high on the reg yet, but did Max out the hammer. Sniper version.
@@tormentorxl2732 mine is dialed in at 943fps (87.9 FPE) w/ FX Hybrids...4fps Std Dev across 31 shots. I'm not about to go through another 15-16hrs of tuning to get minimal gains at the risk of sacrificing accuracy. I do have the FX high flow transfer port installed in this .30cal Sniper
That is a cost of 501,600. Because of the deffects thst i told people to check themselves . I bought a fx Air guns because Matt said the barrels were perfect exactly the same and the target he showed at 100 yards was a quarter inch group which they can’t even get smaller than an inch and a half group with slugs at 100 yards. Mats videos should be taken down
why did you guys turn the comments off on your newer videos is it because of the truth about a fx liners. 228 people now have thanked me for saving them $2000 on one your airguns . But the thing to think about is how many of them haven’t thanked me that haven’t bought a gun from my fax because of my videos telling the truth
