people act like they FORGOT 🔻
in 2016 JJ Redick "began" at Yahoo Sports ..
THEN by July 2017: JJ Redick moved his podcast to *UNINTERRUPTED Lebron's "media company"* ..
    THEN in 2020 (august),:
JJ Redick started HIS OWN company,
    called > *ThreeFourTwo* productions ..
*NOW JJ's company AND lebron's company*
    *created MIND THE GAME podcast*

And that simple strategy is lost in today’s NBA. You know how many times they don’t give AD the ball in the post? Or KAT was just launching 3’s all series when he was barely making them. Most big men don’t even have a post game. You see guards posting up more. Guys like Rudy, don’t even try to develop a post game.

    • @goblack6770

@@WopJr One of Lebron’s issues with Ham that he didn’t think he was knowledgeable as a coach. Rumors were that he would scrap plays Ham drew up during games.
It is widely known that Redick wants to coach and has been interviewing for open head coaching jobs. “Mind The Game podcast recently came out and Lebron goes on and on how Redick is one of the great basketball minds. Finally, it is obvious they have a very good relationship. I think Redick would be a coach that Lebron sees eye to eye with and would respect his vision.

I love hearing Shaq talk with the confidence he played with. I kinda hate that he’s become this humble guy who talks like he was average. It's honestly wild to me how many Greats of Shaq's generation and before just constantly say "I was a terrible teammate and person to work with and I think that was a good thing." Maybe, just maybe, if you weren't a total asshole to your coworkers just because you could be then you could have broken Wilt's scoring record. Maybe, just maybe, being a objectively bad person to interact with was actually a hinderance to you.
"I told shooters to shut the f up and stand in the corner."
    "I love playing with shooters."
These two things to not go together. You were being an asshole and actively hindering your team's success. This is just an objective fact of how reality works.

what I find more strange is how many of them absolutely idolized Bill Russell. Kobe read his books, Shaq has immense respect for Russell and yet they seemingly missed all of the parts that made him not only a great teammate but great leader and winner. Yes, several of those Boston teams were clearly better but the last few years of Russell's career the Celtics weren't more talented than everyone else. They were up there but other teams had as much if not a bit more and they still won and his former teammates absolutely would run through a wall for him. He epitomized great leadership and Shaq and Kobe, two guys who are very self-aware, just ignored a lot of those lessons.
