Honestly the only way you can reverse a spitfire is when they don't know where their throttle key is like the one in this video

as a spitfire user who doesn't know where their throttle key is - I find the spitfire is most effective when used with BnZ tactics and forcing your enemy low and to simply abort the dive whenever they turn, eventually they'll be going so slow they can't dodge your guns even when you're compressing at 700+kph.
once everyone is low and slow and the few planes which can out-turn you are either on your team or dead, then you have to conserve ammo and practice perfect trigger discipline because there aren't enough rounds for everyone if you're spraying rounds.

Good positioning, & good on your resets. I’ve personally only met one good K-4 player while playing in the griffon spitfires (I still won but it was certainly a lot less easier than usual).

The k4 is pretty outclassed but playing in teams, even if it’s a 2v2 yields far greater odds.

K4 lacks in a lot of aspects, personally I just stick to the g2 variant or the Ta, never had success with k4

At 1:10, I dont understand how you can reverse spitfire here. Did he not drop throttle? I feel like he should not have led your split s and he would have easly slotted on your six.

He definitely held wep, you can hear his engine clear as day. Maybe he thought he could keep a far better energy advantage and still out turn me with his turn rate

You do know most bf109K4 users are brain dead.Very rare seeing them at high altitude aswell.
I personally would never goes vertical or loop against BF109 when in a spitfire.Spitfire will win in a turn fight against BF109

honestly I think he could've dropped throttle and he still would've overshot. A product of the geometry of the fight. He pulled lead to try to get a shot on him which resulted in the overshoot in my opinion. His next mistake was either neglecting the 109's dominance in the vertical and/or being too confident in his griffon engine to win it.

Pretty good fight, but that first time you followed him into the vert, you hung for WAY too long before you nosed down to gain energy. If he had just turned back in on you while you were in the vert, stalled for like 5 seconds, you’d be dead. Pretty decent fight though, just hope you don’t run into an experienced spit pilot, let alone a Griffon.

Also, why don’t you use more flaps? There’s a couple angles you could’ve gotten a shot in if you’d gone down to Takeoff instead of staying in combat. o7 tho m8

Almost didn't work. You had that one stall where you should have rolled left but you ran out of airspeed and rolled right then leveled.... I was screaming at the screen. The spit made some good passes, then 2 glaring errors which you capitalized on for the kill. Well done.

That stall was a small mistake but he correctly extended to gain speed .. so not "almost" .. it wasnt that critical
