- In today's video, we will be looking at a ridiculous match that I played in my F4U-4 Corsair, where I managed to clutch a 1v9 and get 10 kills without landing. Truly a once in a lifetime game for me.
There is a lot of great examples of energy traps and target prioritization that I also think are helpful to watch. I only won because I went for the right target at the right time, and because I started off with a big energy advantage.

I would say this was textbook in terms of flying a Corsair. Playing to its strengths as an aircraft that does well when you have an energy advantage over your opponent.
And here I am flying the same plane getting an average of 1 Enemy Kill Assist each round 😭
Don't worry, you will get better with time and practice
That’s 99% of players, dw. It takes about 5d total playing time in fighters to get multiple kill games consistently
@@Delusionaryvisionary_407 im 17d in still only about 2 kills not consistent I fly Japan so maybe thats part of it?😭
@@Eibad19 I mean 5 days next to fighter on your stat card, as in 120 hours in fighters.

To be fair you need some luck to get a game like this - mainly for the enemies to all be vary bad. But you still need to be a good pilot yourself to take advantage of that, so well done good sir.

Funny how salty the other team was. They decimated the rest of your team and then complained that they "had no team" to support them. Then, the salty ones were the easiest kills! lol

That is literally my favorite plane
I'm not the biggest fan of American planes, but the corsair is an exception :)

Try YAK9P this thing doesn’t overheat nearly as bad compared to that garbage. I’m loving the F4U4B, but not loving the teams. Constantly have to pull aces and carry’s, but the later corsairs can do it, especially the 4B, with that engine power OO mama

@@MacWithGuni mean that ITP and was it a Ki-61, that got pretty close. If i was u, they would have onshot me with their last bullet, whilst completely in a stall 😂
I’ve had this plane for a while, it’s performance IS good. But the engine overheats so much on the climb I end up just pitching for ten degrees after a little while and holding 100% just to keep my temps yellow. Any suggestions?
For the later Corsair models, overheating is a big problem.
I use 100% oil raidiators, since the drag they add is negligible, and 70% radiator.
Once the engine temp gets into yellow, I go 100% radiator and you can also reduce prop pitch down to 98% to help the cooling.

That plane is literally IMPOSSIBLE to take off in. The nose is HUGE. Impossible to see in.
