I am from New York, and I remember this tragic, heartbreaking story well. I worked at a nearby shelter as a nurse in the same neighborhood where Geraldine was residing. I also knew the nurse who worked at the family shelter where Geraldine was staying with her son. Her behavior was one on indifference and unempathetic towards her sons welfare. This boys behavioral issues in school was his way of acting out and when he did act out, his teacher would report him to his mom. Zymere would be mistreated and beaten by this sadistic, man! The school would report the beatings and the abuse over and over and then they just stopped when no action was being taken. CPS was an abysmal failure and they are just as complicit in the death of this boy and so was Geraldine. Instead of protecting her son, she stayed in that filthy hellhole with this man and did nothing to hel p herself or her son! She didn't care about her son! Only her own selfish wants and needs! Geraldine is a sociopath and she likes empathy and compassion. She made pathetic excuses for her boyfriend and stood there while he tortured and beat her son to death! She did absolutely nothing to save the life of her boy! She was so desperate to have a man, any piece of a man that she sacrificed her son for this lazy ass MONSTER!

I’ve been subscribed to your channel for a while now, and even though I get so angry and feel desperately sad when you do a video about CA and their death ( in fact all the victims) I applaud you on remembering the victims and the families of the victims. You are very respectful and always take time to reflect upon them. I’m a grandma to a little 3 year old girl and I could never imagine doing to her, what those bastards do to little kids. How can they do that? It sickens me and it is not just the odd one here and there. This is happening everywhere, what is happening in our society? At least the little angels are safe in the arms of an angel.

Unfortunately, I was a child in the 80's, my parents were young and my dad used to hit me with a belt but *never* with an oval shaped *belt buckle!?*
The 80's were different times...I don't resent my father for punishing me with physical abuse. He was young and his father had an anger issue and used a belt on my dad so he thought it was normal. I broke that cycle by never abusing my kids, never even smacked them, *ever.* I didn't want to show them that violence is ok and normal because it's not, unless you're in combat sports. ✌

We were hit with a belt . But not often. I think I can count on one hand how often. None of us abused our children and we didn't resent the discipline.
There is a difference between a smack once and down right relentless beating. But people today can't separate the two.
This baby was not beaten as much as tortured.
He may as well have lived in Guantánamo !

I agree, this poor little guy, I don't know how CPS didn't do a damn thing when they seen it with their own eyes and the school called them several times and reported the severity of the situation and they decided to let the boy stay. And the sick b¡tch who was supposed to be his mother should be forced to have her tubes tied and lose the right to have a child. She got off pretty f cking easy for letting a 40 year old man, who is a body builder too, torture and abuse her young son. Couldn't she see the decline in her sons well being, mental and physical health?? Ffs, it's mindblowing to see how prevalent these behaviors are towards little kids...

So they were looking for me and fixing to call the cops. I was down in the creek by my house catching snakes and turtles ect. Yes I was Tomboy. I'm girly girly now. But I still love fishing ect. I believe all things anyone can do. But omg he burned me up cause my mom told him it's what I needed. Which maybe I did idk. He took me to ice cream shop and stuff afterwards he felt horrible. And I was good kid. Idk why I didn't tell them I was so excited I just left. It had been 3 hours before I came home..I'm sure they were scared. But I can say that's only whooping I ever needed in my life.this was early 90s. And it was a belt also.
