For real. Even though they might be top trained, at the end of the day, theyre still just a human like everyone else. No person should ever have to kill someone.
@@panic-revv85 probably true. He wanted to be an artist and failed. Then leading Germany he failed. How can they even prove who he saw was Hitler? Aren't there a bunch of these stores of people claiming to have seen him?
Henry’s act of compassion was just that, an act of compassion. That act didn’t work out well but we should acknowledge the compassion that Henry had for another human being.
@Phineas Gage @Phineas Gage Oh, I didn't know we were talking about ethereal possibilities; I thought that a murderer's body count was more to the original point.
@@teresahickey3021 Did you ever see that modern Twilight Zone episode where a time traveller goes back in time to kill baby Hitler, and after the deed is done, the mom can't find her son, and just takes a gypsy's son who they name Adolf, and the whole thing starts all over again?
Know what I love about this guy? When he relates these stories, he knows every name, every detail, and can speak about it in a chronological order, making sense. He doesn't speak reading from a cue card with a monotone voice. He is a friendly, animated man, displaying character, and behaves as though he's speaking to a friend. jmo
You did notice how it's a bunch of clips edited together though right? Its not one cut but many. Still, it's very well done, he makes for a very good host either which way.
@@MrTommyslurs Oh yes, I am aware of the editing process. We all like to put our best foot forward. He could still do this in person and have the same great presentation. imo
If you will watch his eyes closely, it seems like he glances off to his lower right - maybe he has a 'bullet point list' to help him out in case he needs it. Regardless, he is a wonderful storyteller!!
When I was escaping an abusive ex, I had a young married couple pull over on the side of the road and offer me a ride. It was a super rural area outside of Atlanta n I was super hesitant at first, but some instinct told me it would be safe. Turned out it was a pastor and his wife, and the wife told me she had had some intense urge to go out, that she couldn’t explain. That something had been nagging at her for like 15 mins to go on a drive , they weren’t even headed anywhere in particular. To this day, I believe they likely saved my life , either from my ex or something bad happening to me in the 40-50 miles I needed to travel to get to the Atlanta bus stop to catch a bus to my parents. I’ll never forget that.
From what I read it’s likely Hitler lied about this story and that it never happened . Just to throw that out there. There’s some facts that cast doubt on the legitimacy of this story
The second story had a premonition that reminded me of my grandmother's story. She woke my grandfather up in the middle night because of a bad feeling she was having. We need to go check on Terry she said, my mother. My grandfather tried to reassure her everything was fine but she was insistent. So at 2 a.m. he begrudgingly got dressed and started on the 45-minute drive to the next town over to check on my mom. The gas stove was turned on when they arrived with no flame and the house was full of natural gas. My mother was unconscious in bed, but made a full recovery thanks to my grandmother listening to her intuition and being persistent with my grandfather to follow up.
Still have to respect the British soldier in the first story. You can’t predict the future and he didn’t want to be a heartless person even though his job was to kill the enemy. War is war, hell is hell and war is worse.
I've also read somewhere, that Hitler actually respected the British for this reason, and he really didn't want war with the British people. He respected the British and their culture. The Nazis treated British POW's, as good as could be, under the circumstances of war, too.
I've heard this story a couple of times, & some sources claim it is not true as according to German military records, Hitler was actually on leave during this time. I'm not sure which account is actually true, fascinating story, none the less.
You might like the bizarre & definitely true Hitler link I left top of the page ..I used to buy my milk & newspaper from the shop 36yrs ago & it got called locally the Hitler shop'😂
The ability to make "The Right" choice is what separates mans mind from animal . That and opposing digit on each hand. Henry, of this story about not shooting Adolph, is most likely the boldest fiction. To encourage the allied soldier to keep shooting even when exhausted from the hours. days & weeks of killing. A seed of thought, to continue since you never know what a mess you might cause by letting one get away?
@@jackrichards1863 I thought the same thing! That it was a folktale of sorts or cautionary tale made up by the allied forces to ensure their fighters put the mission ahead of their individual needs, not show mercy, and to help justify them killing someone bc they don't know what evil that person may commit in the future type of thing. (Sorry for the run-on sentence, need sleep). How could they have even verified the original story??
All things happen for our good if he had killed him the world war 2 would kind of end which will lead to world war 3 because all countries had an anger and the economy of all country would drop down and the reason it will lead to ww3 is because of anger, hatred and not knowing how much lives matter and death is REALLY SERIOUS subject.

I feel for the plumbers LMAO. That has to be the worst, pulling out already gross soggy “meat” from the pipes with your hands and then finding out it’s a PERSON.
Odd enough, this almost exact thing happened in my grandmas city in Ontario. A plumber was called by the basement tenant. Turned out the upstairs tenant killed 2 women and put their pieces down the drain.
"That man was Adolf Hitler" That physically made me jump in surprise, I was kind of zoning out while listening to the story and that was a plot twist to say the least.
Out of suspicion i did some research on this Dennis Nilsen guy. After looking through some parts of wikipedia I noticed this guy looked kind of like Jeffrey Dahmer and even had the same type of glasses as him. But what weirded me out even more is that they both started there murder in 1978 which was a little odd, so i started to look for more similarities. I found out later that both of there first victims names were Stephen and both were teenagers. hope you found it as odd and interesting as i did. PS: its 3am and i have nothing else to do so dont judge
No judgment from me, I saw the thumbnail and thought it was Jeffrey Dahmer. I have never even heard of Dennis Nilsen until I watched this vid. The similarities in their crimes and looks is so eerie. I am surprised this guy isn't as infamous also.
I was hoping the first story would end with something like ‘later in the war, that same british soldier was injured and the same German soldier remembered the kindness done to him and spared him only to then learn they had saved each other and became friends’ But..no.
If you want that kind of story try this one. It was a surprising story to me. You can look up their names if you want an abbreviated version of events. A Higher Call: An Incredible True Story of Combat and Chivalry in the War-Torn Skies of World War II Book by Adam Makos and Larry Alexander
Watching for 2 years now and wish we still had 3 or 4 uploads a week. Never get tired of his story telling. Audible needs to hire him for some good suspenseful books.
a) Minus his gestures, his storytelling would lose a lot of impact, and, more importantly, b) He needs to lose some very bad speech habits that are just too unprofessional for pro audiobook work: e.g., "very unique"--something is either unique (one of a kind) or NOT unique--"very" is not an option. There are a ton more examples, & if Mr. B is interested in what they are (seems like a guy not allergic to self-improvement lol), I'd welcome his interest. ;) But, no: audiobooks have pretty strict standards, just like some very entertaining writers would never be hired at NYT. :) (For an example from this ep: it's not "a children's shoe"....it''s "a child's shoe." -- none of which detracts [much] from how entertaining he is...& could even be argued it 'humanizes' his spiels, or 'makes them more homey'. :) )
@@markhcolleni completely disagree with the first one, he has a very successful podcast. Also for the second reason, Id say it wouldn’t be a problem because he would be reading a book so he wouldn’t be susceptible to any mistakes.

I lived in South Lake Tahoe for a decade, I know how treacherous those mountain passes can be. That little boy really did have a guardian angel and his mom watching out for him.
I also used to live there. I have heard so many stories about people hearing or seeing the person who has passed only for them to find out they had died immediately but their child hadn't. I feel like it's their last attempt to save their child before they move on.
literally my expression! I've heard the story many times, but still... I kinda keep forgetting the name of the goofball that didn't pull the trigger, and every single time I'm in shock just crazy the story is.
@@svampebob007 I think that calling him a 'goofball' is not exactly nice and just. Henry did a great deed, even tho it ultimately ended in a worst possible disaster he still spared a man's life, which is honorable to say the least
That poor kid sat with his dead mothers body as it decayed in a closed car and he slowly starved to death. That’s gotta be some of the worst ptsd. I hope he has healed and been placed with a loving family.
Debra saw Christine doing what Mom’s do; take care of their baby. I really believe that part of us sticks around after we die if need be… and Christine stuck around and took care of her baby one last time… really a beautiful story.
Adam does make a point here...Although we already know what happens later.... The key point there is that the man (Henry) found compassion and mercy in a moment of chaos and humanity at its worst 🥱 Too bad that man (Hitler) had to repay the favor by creating one of "Not The worst " but one of the worst wars and atrocities of mankind with ww2
My dad is pretty sure that he met Dennis, he used to wait for his gf to finish work and this man would ask dad to go for a drink, dad always said no then he used to ask to go back to his apartment for a cuppa my dad still said no, he then offered my dad a key to his apartment to save him waiting in the cold. This was three times a week for about a year. This man would stop and talk to my dad for 20 minutes everytime. It was between his apartment and the pub where he picked the boys up too. At this time my dad was 17 and this haunts him.
I had that horrible sense of dread come over me one night after dinner when my husband and I were just sitting around watching tv. I tried to ignore it, move around, get something to drink, but it just wouldn’t go away but got worse until I was in tears. I told my husband I needed to take a minute and pray through this feeling. I prayed God’s protection over all my family, all friends, my coworkers, basically every person I could think of. Then as quick as it came, the feeling left. The next morning I went into work like normal. We all noticed our coworker wasn’t there and no one had heard from her and couldn’t get ahold of her. 4 hours later she finally arrived to work and told us her boyfriend had experienced a psychotic episode the night before. He pulled out all the kitchen knives and had badly cut up his arms and neck before she found him. Thankfully she found him before he hit any major arteries, and thankfully he hadn’t turned to try to harm her or their infant child. He was rushed to the hospital where he was cleaned up, put back together, and where his mental health issues were rightfully addressed. I 100% believe that I prayed protection over them that night! I’ve only had that intuition one other time when my dad was taking flying lessons and almost had an airplane emergency land on top of him but he paused to take a selfie before taking off which kept him out of the way. Listen to those gut feelings!
@@AE-km1gz He is amazing. I call Him Ruach (from Ruach haKodesh, His Hebrew title) because it creates a closer relationship when I have a name rather than just "the Spirit." I have a similar story. Long story short, my stepmom was my childhood physical and psychological abuser. She was the no remorse, I'm always right kind of person. She was clever enough to do it when Dad wasn't around. Fast forward to when I'm 18 or so and my dad falls extremely ill with heart disease, diabetes, and clotted arteries. She feels threatened by my mother's presence and refuses to let me see him, so I make a deal with one of the nurses and he lets me in at 6 AM every morning before she gets there. We get up one morning to go and my mom had this sense of dread like, "We need to stop and pray for your dad right now," so we call the 700 Club and pray with them over the phone. When we arrive, we find my stepmom already there because dad had been taken back to surgery and she hadn't even bothered to tell us. They had just brought him back to his room. Obviously, I still hate her, so I go and sit in my dad's room instead of with her. That's when I notice ALL of his tubes are filled with blood. He's got a bleed somewhere and if I hadn't been there AT that time and unwilling to sit anywhere near her specifically because she was so psychopathic, he'd have died. He wasn't saved at the time. He was 5 or 10 minutes from Hell and God used my psycho stepmom to make sure I was there to stop it. He got saved several years later, about two months before he actually passed. God can and will use anyone and anything, with or without their knowledge. ♥
MrBallen is just such a talented story teller. Lively voice, doesn’t sound like he’s a robot reading off a teleprompter, and he gives you just enough suspense to keep your ear without wasting your time. Keep it up man!!
I heard a story by someone else that MrBallen had told us. I wasn't even interested in the story until it clicked that it was Ballen's story. It was the one of a girl getting pinched in her tent. The other guy told it and it was so boring. 😅
The second story is definitely intriguing, but my mind can't get past the thought that, that poor child had to sit in a vehicle for 5 days next to his dead mom. How heartbreaking! Put that in the box of things you can't think about.
When I worked as a housekeeper they hired this new woman she had only worked there for about two weeks I had given her a ride home a few times a couple days later she didn’t show up my boss sent me to her house to check on her come to find out her and her roommate had overdosed on a fake pill supposed to be an opana her one year old son was in the room with them when they died the night it happened there was a bad storm going on that little boy was probably so scared of the storm with his dead mom I’ll never forget it
@@destituteanddecadent9106 when you’re driving you can get in a trance almost like hypnosis. My mom calls it’s driving hypnosis. She says if you’re the only one in the car with someone on a road trip never sleep while they are driving, keep them awake and talking. It’s a lot easier than you can imagine to get hypnotized by the road.
I saw this story on Unsolved Mysteries decades ago. What they said is when the leo, Rich Strasser, approached the little boy Nick, he caressed Nick's cheek to see if he was still alive. Nick opened his eyes, smiled and the leo, Rich Strasser, picked him up and carried him up the steep ravine. When asked how he stayed alive, Nick said his mom Christine was there with him protecting him from wild animals, the dark and kept him warm. Almost like she was his guardian angel. So heartbreaking. I've searched for this story on and off through the years and here it is on Mr Ballen's channel! One more thing, when Deborah first saw the mom Christine, she was indeed naked on the side of the road but her arms and legs were in awkward positions. Her limbs were bent in wrong directions. Christine knew her little boy Nick was near death. Makes me think, that the mom's love for her precious little boy was so strong, that she would do everything in her power, even in death, to make sure someone would save him. The only thing she could do in her ghostly state was to manifest herself onto the side of the road in the most shocking manner to get Deborah's attention. Dear mom did what ever she could possibly do for her son even from beyond the grave. Dollars to donuts, Christine is Nick's guardian angel.

That last story - that's been made into a TV-series (3 parts) with David Tennant playing Dennis Nilsen. Show is called "Des", for anyone interested (and in case anyone even reads this)
LOTS of things were wrong with Dennis. Enough things to have him kill 15 people and then hang out with their dead bodies. I don’t know if you can have anything more wrong with you than that.
Whenever he said that his arms were stretched like a Y over his head i got a real vivid picture of what he is describing. Backpacking about 30 yrs ago, my friend and I set up camp and talked to a few people on the trail. We ate and started a fire. Just before dark, we looked at each other, and both knew that something bad would happen if we stayed. We packed back to the car and drove 100 miles home. Never checked to see if anything happened, but we were freaked out for no apparent reason.
When Nick Skubish was fading in and out of consciousness in the car next to his mother's body, he said that at night he would see a bright light and a figure of a woman. He was not afraid, and was comforted by this light and it's presence. He also saw the figure of a woman on the road, and believes that it was his mother's spirit protecting him and calling for help. Christine's aunt also had prophetic dreams of the crash years before it happened and dreamt of Christine in a car in a ditch, along with the number 16, which was a mile marker near where they were found.
It almost certainly wasn't Tandey. Hitler thought it was Tandey after seeing him in a newspaper article, but modern research makes it unlikely they were close enough.

My dad worked on the house after the arrest. I found out at my dad's funeral, my dad's friend told us, I had to explain Nelson to my son as he never heard of him
Oh my God. When you started describing how he killed Steven and how he treated his corpse made me start to feel physically ill. What's even worse is that he repeated this numerous times, and seems to have never felt remorse. Like it was just a game.
I was picturing that in my head. The stuff of nightmares. And the whole bathing in the same water he washed Stephen's corpse in made me sick to my stomach. The stench had to be horrific 🤢
The second story is scary, but also sad. The mother wanted to save her son even after death, that's an unbelievable kind of love. This makes me believe in souls and afterworld. Bur only if the fable is true
Dennis put Stephen's stiff corpse in the corner of the room, hands up, eyes open staring at him with dead eyes as he slept... 👀 😳 Somehow, that image haunts me more than anything. Also, I really got to stop watching these before I go to sleep.
There is a song, "The dead eyes opened" based on a killing - electronica with some storytelling audio intertwined. The case is speaks of was creepy too.
I can say from the viewpoint of a plumber, that the most horrifying thing about this story is that this guy Mike actually put his arm up a blocked sewer pipe
But then you have to keep in mind that in the early 80's, there were still a lot of smaller businesses, rather than conglomerates we've become used to. While there was equipment that could have taken care of it in a much more sanitised way, even a plumbers snake was more expensive at that time. The internet has made buying things far easier, and far more competitive, so most things either got far more advanced, or they got cheaper. Today it's far more easy and affordable to buy the right tools for the job. But some jobs were not only cheaper, but also quicker and easier if you just got your hands dirty. It used to be, men weren't afraid to get a little poop on them to earn a paycheck. Although personally, I think I would have quit or got fired, rather than stick my hand in there - lol.
@@AFloridaSon good observations.. I guess they didn't mind getting their hands dirty cuz that's how it was done and how everyone did it, they didn't know otherwise

Historians have exposed the Hitler story as an urban myth. Hitler was in Germany on 2 weeks military leave on the date of the supposed incident, 28th September 1918, so it couldn't have been him. Other stated details don't add up either. If you think about it, the story makes no sense. It supposes that both men later confirmed the other's identity, which is highly unlikely.
@Sandra Braithwaite Henry Tandey was undoubtedly a very brave man, as were so many soldiers who tragically never made it home or got any awards. Had it been possible to corroborate the Hitler story, it would have been proven by now. The 'PR blunder' you describe would not have kept the truth hidden to 2021! In fact it is now confirmed it could not have been Adolf Hitler, as he was on his second military leave - therefore in Germany - from 10 September 1918 for 18 days. The story is set during that period of Hitler's absence from battle, on 18th September. The respected British Cadbury Research Centre investigated the story of Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain's supposed involvement in this story, so often cited as 'proof' it happened. It was claimed Chamberlain discussed Tandey with Hitler during the famously tense and historic negotiations that led to the Munich Agreement. The story goes that Hitler asked Chamberlain (rather improbably), to phone Tandey and give him his best wishes. This supposed phone call has been fully investigated and the details don't hold up to scrutiny - like the incident itself, it never happened. History is written by many witnesses, not all of them reliable - that's sadly inevitable. But time usually sorts the facts from the fantasy, the truth from the half truth. So it's disappointing this TH-camr presents this fully de-bunked story as truth, over 100 years later! It's not the only such myth about Hitler having close shaves with death. Many other such stories surfaced after WW2 and were also, eventually disproved.
@Sandra Braithwaite Read your first reply to me - you were very sure the 100 year old story WAS true. If I were ill mannered and ignorant, I'd say that makes you look incredibly stupid! In 1918 there was no mass media, no social media and even photographs were rare. Yet two soldiers supposedly met fleetingly in a high stress situation and each could positively identify the other 20 years later. Put simply, it doesn't pass the sniff test. The idea British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain would discuss such an incident with Hitler at the Bavarian Berghof during tense negotiations for the 1938 Munich Agreement, agree to call Henry Tandey personally on his return to Downing Street to pass on Adolf's regards, and then did so, is frankly laughable! It isn't too surprising detailed investigations by the Cadbury Research Centre could find no evidence this phone call took place. This was not the only such urban myth about Hitler's close shaves with death. He generated many of them himself, to further the idea he was an invincible, Christ-like figure born to lead Germany to world supremacy. Many other such stories emerged after the war, including a dedicated midwife who pulled the sickly, newborn Adolf from death's door, an Austrian priest who dived into a lake and saved the young Adolf from drowning, and even Hitler's own mother who supposedly saved his life after a vicious beating by his father. The rush of such myths following Germany's defeat in WW2 indicates they met the public's voracious appetite for stories about the vanquished Fuhrer. I'm a journalist by profession and regard the truth and accreditation of stories as important. While I accept this channel is for entertainment, it's disappointing Mr Ballen would present as 100% true a story which a quick Google search would have told him cannot be confirmed as such. 'True stories' are his channel's stock in trade, so it's a surprising error that diminishes his credibility. Have a great day!
I literally thought The first story was gonna be like the man Henry spared ended up saving Henry’s life later on, but then MrBallen drops that it was Adolf Hitler and shocked the hell out of me.
Sorry I do Not believe it, sounds like a fairytale. There are so many mysteries around Adolf H.- the photos do not make sense, there are at least 2 different persons who play A.H. - the one who was a ‚Meldegänger‘ / simple soldier in WW1 was not the same who did do his murderous speeches in the 1930ies.
I've experienced similar. I woke up to a familiar man's voice in my bed room, it woke me up. I thought I was dreaming but then I heard it two more times in my room when I was awake. I was freaking out and honestly thought I was having a mental health emergency. I then went to the kitchen with pain in my stomach of uneasiness. Then my cell phone rang. My little sister was on the line crying and told me our dad had just passed away. His passing was exactly when I heard his voice in my room. I believe he was trying to say goodbye. I miss him so much.
I had a similar situation with my beloved Father. However, my revelation was in a dream while my mom and dad were out of town. In the dream, my dad(who had really been having serious health problems) told me "he had gotten a call and had to go!" A dear friend drove me to where my parents were five hours away. I was holding my dad's hand when he passed. I will never forget that dream or that experience.
In regards to that second story, I’ve had NUMEROUS experiences like that- where I had a feeling to “do” or “not do” something and it either saved my life or led to some weird, other incredible discovery (finding money on hikes, etc).
I agree. When I miss the bus or train, it calms my anger to know that I could have just avoided something.Further, I was in Cardiff Wales in my 20s. I had to go over a foot bridge to get to a restaurant I'd chosen. I stopped in my tracks and couldn't go over the bridge. I'll never know why but I turned around and went to Plan B.
Too much detail and too many signs of a broken mind in the last story. It was horrendous to listen to. MrBallen has many episodes about deranged criminals, but this is beyond insane
When I was bout 7 I found a little bird that had fallen out of a nest, I put it in my pocket, took it home. My dad said it couldn’t survive, but it did, lived in kitchen my dad hung a tray from ceiling with a perch above it. That’s where “Jack” lived. Would fly off for days sometimes weeks, then months. Eventually only turning up a few times a year, but would fly straight into kitchen taking up his place on his perch.😃😍👍
The story about the crows is so cute. Especially the part where they left Gabby one half of a best friends charm I know they probably don’t actually have the other half but it still makes me smile.
When I was a kid, my family and I went camping. We were scheduled to leave in the morning, but my father insisted on us going that evening. My mother tried to convince him to leave in the morning as he needed sleep because he had a long drive ahead, but he continued to insist. We packed and left that evening. That night there was a huge storm, and I remember how slowly we were driving. We safely arrived home and didn't think about it until we arranged a picking with the couple that we met and became friendly with while we were camping. They told us that about an hour after we left, huge storm started and the lightning hit the wooden electricity pole and it fell right on the spot where our tent was. If we stayed, we would have been killed at the spot. Angels, or did my father had some kind of sixth sense I don't know. I just know that something saved us that night.

#2: I spoke to the boy. I found him on Facebook when he was 21. I saw him on one of those "paranormal shows" unbelievable person with an amazing story that he STILL remembers! So sweet and he loves talking. I don't remember his last name but his first name is Nick, he's still on Facebook and doesn't mind talking at all. Very nice guy with an incredible account of what happened to him. We has 5 years old and remembers most of the nights. From how the moon shined to how she thought his mom was sleeping. The story about how this woman found him is incredible, but this boy (now a man) has a story to tell too. We should listen. It was an honor for me to hear it. 🙂
I saw the paranormal show. I think it was paranormal witness or 911. It was an amazing story. His aunt is a bit psychic and saw the mile marker where he was found, in a dream. That so cool that you spoke with him. He seemed like a solid young man.
That was exactly what I thought when he was at first trying to hide him under the floorboards. Unfortunately I don’t think he had a guilty conscience weighing on him.
I think I’m gonna call Dennis the “Executive Dysfunction Killer”. Like, he knows he should probably get around to hiding that body eventually, and he manages get started a couple times, and he buys the tools and everything, but instead he just keeps taking naps and getting distracted and **forgetting about that corpse he hid** because it’s out of sight.
I think Dennis Neilson is definitely the British version of Jeffery Dahmer. As it was exactly the same cruising gay clubs picking up young boys to take home to murder.
I know you meant this seriously but I can't help but laugh that he probably had ADHD because if that wouldn't be me if I was in that situation ESPECIALLY FORGETTING THE BODY BECAUSE YOU CANT SEE IT. "They're probably just flushing their Kentucky Fried Chicken down the toilet" - What? Why? How is this an answer that elicits a "Yeah, sounds about right" type of response?
The only thing thats off about that statement is the fact that it wasnt in the United States. If it was in like Florida or something I think that plumber would have been like "yeah. Makes sense" and went back to finish the job
Its cause they are human the last thing most people think is the worst. Imagine being a person scared you just stumbled on a serial killers dumping grounds? Going home convincing yourself it's chicken is more comforting than thinking that's a lot of meat someone is dead and I just found em in a drain. That's the same as when a woman half naked covered in blood runs to your home begging for help and you don't let her in. You comfort yourself by saying she's probably in on the plan there's men out there waiting and as soon as the door opens they're gonna rush in. You'll stand there and call the cops and wait for her to either be murdered or leave her to run away and try someone else's house. @Ying Fipling bruh ever seen a forced labor camp? they are not pleasant. also seek help, or just learn to read social cues. as no one likes an edgelord.
There have been several documented cases of the second story happening. A parent dead on contact, small child or baby strapped in the car and a 911 call being made by the deceased or EMTs hearing the deceased parent yelling for them to help. I think these kinds of stories are so interesting.
There was the one were the mam had crashed off a bridge into water & drown as the car landed upside down but luckily the baby was strapped in a secured car seat so was held up out the water & the police looking for them heard the mother shouting something like help or we're down here but when they got to the car the mother was dead on impact so they believed it was the mother's spirit shouting out to save the child.
This is my theory. The woman who had spontaneously jumped out of bed and wanted to go drive, had seen the accident prior but was afraid to call the police because they were drinking and driving. Then they were checking the news and never saw that the accident was reported and couldn’t live with themselves. Instead of admitting to not reporting the accident because they would be looked upon poorly. They invented that story. People in rural areas tend to drink and drive more often, to add to my theory.
@Andrew Harris exactly what i was thinking. They saw it happen and just kept driving for whatever reason, and then the guilt of not reporting it kicked in and they made the story up to not cast doubt on their characters when talking to the police about it.
On my way driving to work one day I began having a full blown panic attack (for seemingly no reason). Since I was closer to my grandmother's house I decided to stop there and get some water. I found her laying in her yard out of reach of her walker. She had fallen and who knows how long she would have layed there had I not came. *never ignore those feelings that something is wrong.

Hitler was also saved by a Monk from drowning, a Doctor from chocking, hell a woodchuck saved him from being raped by a turtle. Millions of different Hitler should have died but was saved stories out an about.

Thank you for explaining that
I've also read somewhere, that Hitler actually respected the British for this reason, and he really didn't want war with the British people. He respected the British and their culture. The Nazis treated British POW's, as good as could be, under the circumstances of war, too.

a) Minus his gestures, his storytelling would lose a lot of impact, and, more importantly,
b) He needs to lose some very bad speech habits that are just too unprofessional for pro audiobook work: e.g., "very unique"--something is either unique (one of a kind) or NOT unique--"very" is not an option. There are a ton more examples, & if Mr. B is interested in what they are (seems like a guy not allergic to self-improvement lol), I'd welcome his interest. ;) But, no: audiobooks have pretty strict standards, just like some very entertaining writers would never be hired at NYT. :)
(For an example from this ep: it's not "a children's shoe"....it''s "a child's shoe." -- none of which detracts [much] from how entertaining he is...& could even be argued it 'humanizes' his spiels, or 'makes them more homey'. :) )

The second story is definitely intriguing, but my mind can't get past the thought that, that poor child had to sit in a vehicle for 5 days next to his dead mom. How heartbreaking! Put that in the box of things you can't think about.
I wonder what she was going through to fall asleep at such a tricky, bendy place, with her kid in the car no less.

I can say from the viewpoint of a plumber, that the most horrifying thing about this story is that this guy Mike actually put his arm up a blocked sewer pipe
i never saw a plumber use his hands for this they always use tools for that ATLEAST IN GERMANY

“That man was Adolf Hitler”
When I tell you I gasped😧
My heart dropped lmao I was like well that’s unexpected.
My brain lost all thought but one - nooooooo!

You'll stand there and call the cops and wait for her to either be murdered or leave her to run away and try someone else's house.
I'm not exactly a believer in the supernatural, but cases like these certainly get me thinking.
Me be like driving of a bridge jesus take the wheel
On my way driving to work one day I began having a full blown panic attack (for seemingly no reason). Since I was closer to my grandmother's house I decided to stop there and get some water. Henry is the epitome of “You had one job”
This is so true and horrible but damn this comment was funny too. I'm struggling hard.
Lol
N he couldn't do it, just one job!
Lol
pretty messed up, but yeah . .. LOL
Cleaning a pipe with my hands is a horror story
Dude the first story, Henry's humanity just changed the whole history,
Its fake, minimal google searches can find that out. Not sure why he put that video on here
@@kingcrustytut7544 I googled it and it says it's real. Where are you getting your information?
Hitler was also saved by a Monk from drowning, a Doctor from chocking, hell a woodchuck saved him from being raped by a turtle. Millions of different Hitler should have died but was saved stories out an about.
@@kingcrustytut7544 Have you just gone to every comment talking about Henry saving Hitler's life and saying the same thing?
Adolf Hitler actually dodged death a few times. Like a tme traveller just keeps fucking up.
The story for Henry is so sad because he displayed his humanity only for that Hitler to take his gift of life and use it to take the lives of so many others. I always wondered if Henry ever found out about this and if so what his reaction was
Oh he did he know and he said "even if I know what he gonna do I'm still going to spare him"
@@basic_avarage_person idk, doing so would change the course of history drastically.
@@Marxistnazi If Henry killed him, then Hitler wouldn't do any of those things so he wouldn't be an evil man. Henry, on the other hand, would be the guy that shot an unarmed wounded soldier which is considered murder in the military. It is like those hypotheticals of _Would you go back in time and kill baby Hitler?_
Supposedly Hitler said something about a British soldier sparing him in WW1. Hitler wanted to meet him personally and shake his hand I believe. Heard he wanted to give him one of his personal art pieces.
@@FakeAssHandsomeMcGee_ back then you can pretty much kill anyone in the military, the US was responsible for some war crimes as well. Also I think without Hitler popularizing the Nazi party, who were strongly against bolshevism, then a communist revolution in the Weimar Republic would probably be more likely. And in most communist states genocides and terror campaigns are often undertook, also civil wars. Germany was just at a shit position during that time, and people thought the Nazi party would help get them out of it.
First story was chilling....... What if empathy and humility weren’t on the table......
Could’ve fixed the problem if the certain historical figure was just carrying a Luger or something.
They shouldn't have been it was a war.
Someone else would’ve most likely took the spot
@Lewis Morten how would it not be avoided?
The devil deceived the soldier not to kill him . 😬
The freaking bumps of the geese that hit me at that exact “Hitler” moment was insane. I’m inside, cleaning my kids room, and I scream out, “Oh my God!!! (and probably some obscenities) with my headphones in. My husband is yelling out, thinking I’m hurt. I was like “no dude, you have to watch this episode. I’m not even going to give you the ending”. (because he loves MrBallen as much as I do, lol.) He was grateful for my discretion so he could enjoy the full emotional ambush that we all did. 😂
I’m from U.K. and work within the judicial system. I followed this case in real time and would like to appreciate your accurate representation Just one tiny thing though. When the police initially visited the home on Nilsen, he said ‘since when did the police have an interest in blocked drains.’ These words have been repeated many times in films and books. If anyone is interested there is a brilliant book about Nilsen ‘Killing for company’ Thankyou for such brilliant content x
Ah thanks for that detail!
Another brilliant one was 'des' on BBC iplayer
I think one of his victims escaped somehow nd came forward after he got arrested
Not that accurate as he killed most of the victims in Cricklewood, not Muswell Hill.
@@claudiapreda8493 I just commented about this. He was caught in a completely different apartment, and he had several of his "bonfires." The only reason he started flushing them was cause he was on the third floor, had no floorboards, and no garden.
It is not Henry’s fault that he didn’t want to kill a man who was wounded
Right. Also there were so many Germans that did and some still do believe in the same ideals as hitler. Who’s to say if he shot and killed him someone more war savvy than hitler would have been the leader of the nazis instead of Adolf and have actually won the war. As horrible as WWII was it could have been so much worse if they won.
Pretty sure he wasnt saying he was, just that its an interesting story that ended up being a bizarre "what if" moment, similar to the other story he told about the poker game and the Revolutionary War.
I agree
and unarmed!
@@jesalyn84 most germans aren't neonazis.....but of course you can find them in many countries not just Germany. In spite of what the media tries to make us believe, neonazis are a small minority not some huge threat to our society like they make it out to be.
Literally no one is talking that this man had a dead human body on his wall facing him like this 👻
Lmao 😂
😂😂😂
Or the fact he that after FOLDING the corpse up to stash it,
he pulled it out again to give it another bath, then bathed himself in that same water later. 🤢
@@jamesromaine9878 Fr my germaphobia is sky high. I am gaging rn I would rather touch dirt the hear that story again. ✋🤢
Then he turns the guy into a pretzel so he fit underneath the floorboards. Takes him out a week later to... play with him, gives him a bath, then he himself takes in a bath in the same water as the corpse. What the fucking fuck???
I can't get over Henry's story 😥😥 his kindness cost millions of lives 😢😢 wow! My heart aches just thinking about it. What a conundrum? Not killing is a virtue. Henry practiced kindness on the one person whose death would have served the greater good.
I get freaked out waking up in the middle of the night and seeing my dark jacket hanging up on the other side of the room, yet this dude felt totally fine having a propped up corpse against his wall 😧
Ikr!? I used to have a coat hanger in my room but couldn’t stand how freaky it looked at night and eventually set it up outside the room
"Staring" at him the entire night.
No shyte, huh?? Good god!!!
thats because he _is_ the monster that we're all afraid is going to be that dark jacket hanging up. why should he be scared, knowing he's the person people fear, if that makes sense ?
He’s the one who knocks
Dennis' psychology seems so similar to Jeffrey Dahmer's. An overwhelming need to 'keep' the person.
Both started killing the same year
I thought he was gonna say “and his name wasn’t actually nelson it was jeffery” and that never came
I legitimately thought it was him under pseudonym.

RIP Christine... I believe in gut feelings & guardian angels & this Mum's spirit fought for her son to be found. A mother's love knows no limits 💕
AMEN AMEN, GREAT COMMENT EVER 😊
Intuition, gut wisdom and angels etc are real..but not always the way we imagine. Angel means
Ang = messenger El =Elohim (Gods)
I hate to be a negative Nancy, but doesn't that imply a whole lot of less than lovey dovey info?
If guardian angels are in fact real, what does that say about those who don't have em? Or worse, to those who do have em and turn out to be horrible humans themselves?
The first story, did Adolf have a guardian angel? Only so that he could live to commit the atrocities he did?
All they mothers who've died trying to protect their children, who also end up dying, did they just not love their kids enough, to come back from the dead to pass on a message to save em?
I realize it might be nice to think, but there's a ginormous amount of negative implications that all too often people just don't want to think of.
That's what I was thinking. That it was her trying to save her son.
@@kimessex4011 Thank you 😃
Henry's story captures the words 'actions have consequences' to a whole new level.
That Debra saw the victim as being naked, when she was presumably clothed during the car accident, just makes this a more spooky example of the strange, dark, and unexplained.
A naked woman would catch your attention more, she had to make sure she was seen
That’s the first thing I thought about
I like to think it was the victims ghost. It’s probably because I really enjoy ghost stories but I like to believe the victim was trying to make sure her son was found.
