The level of detail you provide on all of the messy details - fiddling with springs and detents, etc. is tremendous! Puts your howto videos in a class by themselves.
I want to thank you for such a clear and concise build series , I used it to build my first AR and it all went super smooth thanks to you ! Took it out today and it ran 100 rounds flawlessly. Truly invaluable information.
BRO!!! THANK YOU FOR THE WALK THROUGHS!!! Just finished building my first gun ever! Literally watched every single one of your videos from start to finish! Figured since being a first time owner I may as well learn the ins and outs on how it operates. It was intimidating seeing all the small pieces everywhere, but your guides helped tremendously!! Again, much appreciated 🙏
OMG, YES. Just pieced together my first build and was looking for for guidance. THANK YOU! I’ve only owned lever actions and now I’m finally out of the of 1894😅. Keep it up brother!!
@@1stShotTacticalhey bro can you do a video on how to remove a barrel cause I’m modifying a off the shelf gun and the barrel that came with it has that stupid fixed front sight and I’m looking to switch the barrel with a Aero Precision 16.3" 5.56 Cold Hammer Forged Barrel with Dimple, Mid-Length
My state banned semi automatics yesterday. I bought all the parts the day before and left the same day instead of doing the two week background check cause of a loophole. Super easy to put together. Now a family heirloom.
These videos are awesome. I'm about to start my first build and have already been buying areo parts for the last few months so it was awesome to see you build this with literally all the same parts I've already bought. The only difference is that I bought a stainless areo barrel lol
you sir are the greatest, thank you so much, my buddy tried helping, but our schedules are vastly different, and could never link up, you made my first build 1000x easier, now i just need a name for it.
Im new to the AR scene, just got my first one a few days ago. But Im the DIY type of guy, I definitely want to try my hand at building my own AR. Your video makes it seem simple enough, I think Im going to give a shot. What tools and parts would you recommend?
So if I buy an upper kit, lower kit, charging handle and bot carrier group. Can I put it right together and go outside and shoot it, or do I have to do other things before, I’m new to guns and I’m just wondering because I’m going to order one some time soon.
Thank you for the step by step. Gonna build my first AR and these videos will be my reference. What was the total cost for the build minus optics and accessories?
Just installed a Radian charging handle on my AR, and I'm just curious of something. Once I pull it back, it goes forward just fine, but once it's back in it's normal position if I aim the gun upwards the charging handle just falls backwards by itself as if it has no tension at all on it. Is that normal?
@@josephnathan4280 Cool thanks man! First AR so I'm still learning functions and whatnot, and I was thinking I already broke it after my first mod lol.
You forgot one step, you take the handgrip off, and there is this extra screw that's covered by the handgrip Called upper tension screw Only comes with some lowers specifically
so I have all Aero parts but my bcg will not go into the hole because there is a steel tab on the bcg sticking out. i have two new bcg s and both are exactly the same way. Unfortunately you video shows the opposite side so i cannot see if yours has the tab.
@@1stShotTactical Haha, I figured it out. Your video leaves out the most important part. When you first take an Aero bcg out of its package brand new, you have to simply pull out the gear end and the tab twists back to the center. Then after that your video works. Funny thing was that first step was on the diagram of my new AR mat, which is how i came to know it. lol
Total gun newbie here.If I buy a complete upper and a complete lower.....do i put the two parts together, put in the pins and it's ready to go?It can't be that simple can it?
hello. at minute 1:12 where the buffer and buffer spring go I see your AR has like a pin or screw to hold in the buffer/buffer spring. My AR doesn't have anything there. Do all firearms have the pin/screw or just some? Im checking a parts diagram/list and dont see a retention pin or screw for my AR.
love you videos I just bought a lower aero receiver but have palmetto state armory lower parts kit will they still work together? or does it have to be and aero lower parts kit?
Thank for the comment and glad I could help! Those will work together but I’d def recommend getting the Aero lower parts kit with the Aero lower receiver because it’s easier to install the bolt release and rear take down detent
just ordered the aero lower parts kit thank you very much for your help and videos this is my first ar build i own one already but i wanted to build my own so love your videos keep them coming you will probably hear from me agin lol thanks again@@1stShotTactical
In a build like this in which the entire upper was assembled from parts, headspace should be verified with GO and NOGO gauges before firing any ammunition in it.
I’m still waiting on my LTC in the mail, I’m from Massachusetts so it’s taking a while and there’s are banned unless you get a preban. I have heard that it’s legal to build one though, is that true do you know? I’d love to build one when I have my LTC; the videos building this were awesome and seem easy to follow!
Did you ever tally it up? I'd to try to build for the experience but don't have the tools and a vice. Just wondering if I should just buy a complete rifle
@@ShutupguysNowI’m building one now I’m $1300 in without the optic but I added some very nice parts like a good barrel and bolt carrier group lighter trigger ect. It all depends on what you want there are completed ARs for $600 but you get what you pay for in the firearms world

Is it typically this easy to assemble all AR 15s like this?

Should you lube all the parts ? Trigger system, hinges of upper and lower?
Yes absolutely!! Definitely lube everything up well before firing!👍👍

It’s a aero atlas hand guard🙌🏻🙌🏻
