      @Dan-di9jd 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It doesn't matter if they are aligned or not Just a simply cycling of the gun will cause the rings to change positions. The truth is you only need one gas ring but the triple rings just more of a redundant feature to avoid any gas loss.

    Video was very well done and very helpful.
    I served a long time ago, and we were taught to use that CLP very generously. Their theory was blowback, action, and heat would thin whatever lubricants are in it, so you have a better chance to avoid it running dry.
    But i was in a long time ago and maybe things changed. I tend to still be generous with the oil but that’s just me. I just keep them clean and over oiled hope for the best hahahaha

    Only video I ever saw that addresses the disassembly and cleaning of the extractor.

    Why didn't you apply oil to other parts of the bolt besides the extractor?

    Thank you dude! This was the easiest tutorial to follow and you even managed to show the hole that that little pin sits in perfectly! Saved forever to my favorites and Watch Later just in case I need this video again! Big thanks from Georgia USA!!!

    Silly question.... when putting a BCG back into an upper, you need to pull the bolt forward in order to move the cam pin forward too; correct? I’m a newb and that is the only way mine will go back into the upper. If not, the cam pin block the BCG from entering the upper. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong. Thanks

      Take the bcg in your fist bolt facing upwards and slap the bottom of the bcg down on a wood table or something.

    Hey just took my bcg apart the bolt tail look like it had some scorching on it came off after a hard cleaning. Should I be worried. Just for info it’s an aero nickel plated boron bcg

    • @Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors
      @Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean scratching? Or some of the coating came off?
      In either case- i would be concerned about what caused it in the gun before i was worried about the bcg itself. I would be looking for wear and problems in the reciever extention and the area where it screws into the lower.

    I just recall before inserting the bolt into carrier group, we were told to make sure rings gaps were not bear each other.
