    refreshing to see a guntuber say it how it is and recommend specific gear and parts by name instead of just saying "find what works best for you just experiment and just listen to me talk a bunch without giving any advice". I honestly think gun dudes are the most fragile babies if they hear anything contrary to their gullible opinion or doesnt fit their set-up or gear choice to a T. Thanks for the tips man.

      It can really be any single stage trigger with a good positive reset. I have an Elftmann pro comp single stage that gives the same reset for around 80 bucks less
      Armaspec makes captured spring silent buffers that do the same job at around half the price.

    • @donkeypunch5138
      @donkeypunch5138 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Ah I kind of prefer a flash hider. Compensators and muzzle breaks are great for day time mid-close combat scenarios.
      But where they fucking suck is night time. The flash created by these things can blind the shooter, or make it very difficult to track a fast moving target while firing, like someone running and shooting back at you. Not to mention sound. They make the gun LOUDER and that's great for when you have your ear pro on outside. But inside with zero ear pro your basically flash banging yourself every time you shoot that gun. Which is only a good tactic if your plan was to die to the home invader or whatever it is cause your gun isnt outfitted for it.
      I keep two fighting rifles. One, a full sized, 16 inch barrel "field gun". It sports a nice compensator. Then I got my special shit needs done gun. Its a smaller package, more balanced, still high capacity, .30 caliber 7.62x39 with a 10.5 inch barrel. Kitted out with a 4 piece flash can that totally hides flash even in pitch black conditions. A flash light, with the pressure pad 1000 lumens white light. BCM hand stop. Midwest industries Mlok handguards. Magpul rubberized pistol grip and a good ole... nothing on the back. ;) Tied the bow with a nice little low profile red dot that has served me well for years from SIG. The way its set up, if you gotta use it at night, in the darkness. You wont alert who your shooting at with your flash. You wont blind yourself AT ALL and will be easily able to track any targets with the red dot, as if you had a suppressor. The sound, while not suppressed at all, is a tad quieter although it is side stepped by the fact its a shorter barrel so its naturally just going to be a louder gun anyways. Especially being an AK in 7.62x39. Also, running flash hiders typically means better reliability in shitty conditions because the extra gas that doesnt escape, basically cycles the gun. Which is why flash hiders like mine, add to recoil.

    I like how you mentioned the trigger reset instead of the trigger weight for fast shooting. I can run the Geissele SSA faster than the SSA-E because it has a stronger reset. If you want to go fast on the cheap you can get a PSA EPT trigger and a trigger set screw from joeboboutfitters. I used to use these before I got into the Gucci stuff. The gas system also has a lot to do with fast, flat shooting too. I prefer a midlength on a 16" rifles. Pair that with a Springco blue spring and it's just as flat as what you got, but half the price.

    This is going in my "stuff people should buy" playlist.
    I am curious about your recommendations for other platforms.
    The AR-15 and AR-10 specifically are the simplest to get a "zero recoil" feel that I've found, given how the original AR-10 was engineered around making .308 not kick like a mule without making the gun super heavy.
    5.56 feels like it doesn't quite need direct impingement or a buffer tube in order to get flat recoil, though.
    I haven't been able to get my hands on some guns long enough to experiment with attachments, but I've noticed that the G36 clones from Tommybuilt are pretty smooth.

      Also isn’t cast like a Geissele (and is cheaper)
      Thanks for getting this video out, I’ve seen a lot of people say the JP system doesn’t do much but hear that brakes and agbs are best, seeing you not need an adjustable gas block is promising (unless you’ve struck gold by only shooting perfectly factory gassed barrels)
      The trigger element is definitely true as well when it comes to speed
      The above trigger is supposedly incredible for speed while not sacrificing safety or being too geared towards something like competitive shooting

      @mc5givemehelmet783 A captured spring buffer system compared to traditional spring and buffer is quite a difference. It's like driving a solid axle Jeep on a bumpy road and then getting into a Cadillac. With one you hear and feel everything thing and with the other you glide along on a cloud. A captured system reduces felt recoil and it removes the distracting sound and cheese grater feel of the spring and buffer cycling in the buffer tube.

    • @MatthewC176
      @MatthewC176 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@carbonking53 even if not drastically better in feel, the spring and weight tune-ability of the SCS is highly appealing for recoil control, even if the standard configuration doesn’t make a night and day difference.
      However I’m seeing people say that hydraulic buffers are better for recoil feel/reduction, honestly I just need to save money and test a few setups and then see what’s best
      Bottom line I want a reliable but smooth gun without changing the gas block barrel bolt carrier or muzzle device
      Don’t trust agbs and don’t wanna have to spend months researching them
      Know the barrel I want to use so I can’t just get a barrel with a tighter gas port
      Running suppressor specific muzzle devices
      And prefer milspec weight BCGs, although something like a geissele lmt sionics or Q bcg would all be possibilities, just not any of the low mass stuff or anything highly specialized

    Vltor A5 + a well gassed barrel for a less gamy, more robust recoil deletion. Bonus points for having the brains to tune your rifle to defeat overgassing from a suppressor. AR's are incredibly simple and there are no silver bullets, your rifle will shoot as smooth as it's gassing allows.

      Theres alot of things you can do to almost completely delete felt recoil. A JP low mass BCG gives you less reciprocating mass, combines with a tuned JP silent capture spring with lighter rings, a tuned superlative arms adjustable gas block with bleed off, a muzzle break pushing gas opposite your rifles recoil pattern (usually high right), and a FAB defense GLshock stock which has a spring that removes some felt recoil (much more noticeable on an AR10). The combination of all of these with a proper stance with make a .223 feel like a 22lr.

    Are you familiar with automatic reset triggers? They are actually positive displacement and much faster to reset than the trigger you're running. You might want to check out energy rejecting recoil systems too, mechanical spring systems reflect energy not reject it. You can put multiple bullets through the same hole quickly if you run both systems.
